We are here in Edison New Jersey for a convention and thought we order pizza after an extremely grueling day so we wouldn't have to leave our hotel room. We checked Yelp and due to the 4.5 stars Chicago Paizza had, we decided to order a large, thin crust, double mushroom Pizza. We waited about 45 minutes and once we received the pizza we discovered that not only the pizza is not double mushroom but also the dough was so chewy and thick to a point that it was not even eatable. Also as you can see in the pictures, this is more of a medium than a large. We decided to call them to get another one sent but we were told that is not possible so we asked for our money back and even that was rejected. We were given option of a store credit which does not do me any good since I would never want to order from them again and also live in California. We were so hungry we were forced to have the pizza but without the dough, cheese only! We also had ordered 6 pcs of wing which was not so great either. PLEASE see the pictures. read more

If I only had some chutney to put on my pizza, I would of been in heaven. It was a little pricey $21 for 10 inch pie and 6 wings, but hey you get what you pay for. I'd give this a solid 4/5 but almost gave it a 3. The extra star came from the simple fact that this pizza reminded me of the pizza I'd get in a Pizza Hut in India. I was with vegetarians and there were plenty of options for them so that was nice. The paneer tikka masala pizza was so good and pretty unique. Just fell a little dry for my liking but that's personal preference. Just wish there was more of that tikka sauce because it was so good. We also got an indian veg pizza which tasted like normal pizza - nothing special. Indian breadsticks were yum yum and I'd highly recommend those too. Overall pretty solid place! These guys should rename this place, because this is not Chicago style pizza and the twist is that they offer Indian flavors. The crust reminds me of Pizzeria Uno, a semi-deep dish with no true crust. I've said it before, and I'll say it again, I like Indian pizza. I think the flavors go great together, I don't know why these places keep it a secret that it's Indian pizza by not calling it something like "Calcutta Pizza" or "New Delhi Pizza" but whatever. I tried their make your own pizza to recreate a California Pizza Kitchen classic for my wife- bbq sauce, bbq chicken, red onions and cilantro. I was a little pissed they skipped the cilantro that I paid $1.50 for, but other than that the pizza was great. Also went with a tandori chicken pizza to see what these guys are all about. Spicy and delicious. Really good, loved it, would not change a thing. Garlic bread was also great. It was almost like a garlic sauce on a naan. Totally had an Indian twist and was great. Wings were a bit small, but not bad. The buffalo sauce had a nice kick. Bummer the sauce they include is ranch, I'm a blue cheese guy. I cane here today after a work event with my boyfriend for a quick lunch and it was great! We are both vegan and live in Montclair NJ and there isn't any vegan pizza options there, so we were so excited to find a place close enough that serves vegan options. We ordered a 12" veggie pie with vegan cheese and red sauce. It was so delicious and enough for two people. The pizza was very fresh and tasty. Loved the green chilies on the pizza as well. I love the variety of pizzas they have to offer as well as having halal options. The pizzas have all been delicious! We have had the butter chicken, chicken tikka, and lamb kabab pizzas. However, if you're expecting deep dish like they serve in Chicago, this might disappoint. It's just not as thick. Another reason why I am giving only 4 stars is because they seem to always get our order wrong. One time they forgot to put our order in (or accidentally gave it away since there was an entire sports team being served several pizzas at the same time we came for our pickup). Another time, we requested chicken tikka masala with extra masala sauce but there was no sauce on the pizza. We also have requested only lamb kabob on a plain cheese pizza and instead were given the specialty lamb kabob pizza with the other toppings. Again, the pizzas are tasty and I recommend this place to everyone, but it'd be even better if we could get exactly what we ordered. read more
