Craving pizza this afternoon and decided to visit one of my favorite "hidden" spots. We were greeted by Luis. Believe it or not they offer their awesome lunch special of two slices of pizza and a soda for $10 on a Sunday!! Wow!! Nice!! Luis asked us we would like to wait ten minutes as he was just making a fresh pepperoni pizza. Over and above service because he had three slices under the heat lamp. Nice!! This is a takeout restaurant with limited seating due to the fact that to space is small. But still it is a quiet space to sit down if you so desire. I encourage and recommend this pizza restaurant. Support the small business!

Hate to be the bad reviewer but i just got the 2 for 1 pizza deal and the cheese and sauce were so scarce you could actually see the wet pizza bread underneath the toppings...Not to mention the maybe 7 or 8 toppings on each pizza, one pepperoni and one sausage pizza.I only ate it because i was hungry not picky.They got a extra star because the person was nice on the phone.

Heard about this spot trolling more vegan restaurants nearby (south of the 10 lol). A few months ago I grabbed food for me and my omni family. Vegan white pizza is banging. The vegan pesto kinda one is also delish. I dip it in the habanero sauce they have. Potatoes and salad were on point. Just a solid spot. Yes unfortunately prices are going up and I'm still dedicated when I go east. The 2 vegan slices is $10 without tax n tip. Closer than purgatory, ijs haha

I was in the neighborhood and decided to stop by one of the old vegan favoritea for a coup slices of pizza. Unfortunately, their prices on the slices are up and 2 slices were $13 something?! The worst part was the slices I had weren't even that tasty (vegan white pizza slices). I do still enjoy getting a whole pizza from here occasionally (the Bellflower vegan in particular), but it's not a good option for slices anymore. The service was still decent and the ambiance has not changed.

Vegan options are absolutely delicious! Look at this baby! The deep dish comes with 3 toppings, we chose chicken, sausage, and pepperoni, all vegan! With vegan shredded cheese and their house made ricotta! They also have house made vegan ranch. This is such a good item to splurge on, it never misses!

This food was so delicious! We ordered 2 pizzas slices, garlic knots and buffalo wings! The pizza was so crispy and flavorful, garlic knots were soft and delicious and the wings were my favorite! The employees were so patient and they were kind! The kind of service you want! The place was clean and it felt welcoming and cool! Will come again!!

Well intended: their use of Follow Your Heart cheese is indeed a rare find: the "$9.95 vegan slice combo" had gone up to $12.95 and became $15.21 with 15% tip. The oregano, gracious offer of vegan Parmesan for topping and garlic powder condiments were appreciated. Now: the crust was a gelatinous, glue-like substance bound to a chewy substrate, which was puffy around the outer ring. Meaning: it wasn't raised and baked with yeasty bubbles - it was more of a quesadilla quality. So despite its highly rated local reverence: I would suggest returning to dough chemistry fundamentals for a master crust.

On my trip from Downey to Cerritos, Pizza USA was one of the few places in the area that offered vegan options. Selecting this restaurant based solely on the plant-based menu, I was unsure of how the overall experience would be. From the food to the service, Pizza USA beyond exceeded my expectations. First and foremost, VEGAN PIZZA BY THE SLICE. I was relieved I wouldn't have to purchase and entire pizza for myself, especially considering I was on the road, and it would most likely go to waste. In addition to the slices, I was beyond grateful that the vegan pizza was half and half, which allowed me to try two types of pizza (Bellflower Vegan and Heaven). The pizza itself was delicious - full of flavorful! I was a little nervous that the Bellflower Vegan, a buffalo cauliflower style pizza, would be a little too hot for my overly sensitive tastebuds, but it had just the right amount of kick! I loved that the slice was very saucy, featuring a buffalo ranch base accompanied by a ranch drizzle. The Heaven slice was just that, a perfect blend of sweet and spicy with jalapenos, bell peppers, sausage, and pineapple. Everything was so good, I even decided to try the vegan Cesear salad and it did not disappoint. Staff members were extremely welcoming and helpful. This location also offers some pretty good lunch specials! Even if it's not on route, I will certainly be going out of my way to return to Pizza USA during my next trip to LA!

Found out about this spot so I waited for a pizza craving to try it out. We had the vegan deep dish with mushrooms, spinach, and vegan sausage and the buffalo cauliflower. The flavors are fantastic! There's some sort of vegan ricotta on it that makes me want to try the vegan lasagna next time. 5 stars for the vegan pizza!

WOW! Every time we order from this place it's fantastic.! The Chicago deep dish is one of our favorite pizzas you cannot get it anywhere else vegan! It has mozzarella,ricotta,Parmesan and sprinkled with parsley. This is the pizza that put them on the map for us! YUM! We also love to eat the heavenly vegan pizza it has jalapeños, pineapple,Red onion,Roma tomatoes and vegan sausage perfectly cooked with mozzarella Cheese and red sauce. It has a sweet and spicy flavor that you will love! The best part of this small business other than the food is the employees PEDRO always makes sure to make our pizzas DELICIOUS! His customer service is the best around so thanks for always making it a pleasant experience! If you are in the area and in the mood for some delicious decadent pizza definitely give Pizza USA a try you will not regret it!

best vegan pizza ive ever had. the Chicago deep dish will always hold the #1 spot in my heart. Ive gotten the vegan Detroit as well, also delicious. truly a hidden gem. telling everyone ik to go here and try it out so worth it. all the workers are also very nice. THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!!!!! My mother & I used to get delivery from another vegan pizza place to Long Beach but they closed down :( we have been deprived, let me tell you. We ended up in Lakewood which is near Bellflower so this place came up on Yelp when I searched for "vegan food" and I am soooo happy I found it. The vegan white pizza is incredible! Pedro was so sweet & kind. He said the last sandwich on the vegan sandwich/sub menu is his favourite (that I said I was coming back for & trying next time). There's limited seating inside but we ordered takeout via Yelp & it was cooked fresh! It was SO GOOD. I only needed 2 slices and I was so full. He gave us extra ranch & vegan Parmesan cheese in little cups, and packets of red pepper flakes. My mom added extra cheese & pepper flakes to hers but I had mine as is and it was just sooooo good. I'm so happy I found this place! I will certainly be back! I challenge customers that are non-vegan to go with the vegan options, these guys know what they're doing!!!

My go to spot for pizza, especially their vegan options because they taste great! Recommend the vegan bellflower and heaven and white pizza for sure. The staff here are also really nice and parking is easy to find. Price isn't bad either. read more

I happened to be in the area while getting my car repaired. It was taking a little longer than expected and it was around dinner time. I was looking at places near by that I could walk to. I came across this small pizza shop and I am very happy that I did. They have so many great options to choose from. The pizza was so delicious especially with the hot sauce they have, ranch and marinara sauce was so good too. They took my order and they were really nice and kind. This is my new go to place. I ordered garlic knots and wings off DoorDash. And everything is so flavorful I'm so impressed. I had to get on here and let y'all know. This is a VEGAN specific review. Disclosure: Ive been vegan for 27 years, I've tried all the regional vegan pizza options, and I make my own excellent vegan pizza from scratch. I'm picky about my pie and I've rejected most vegan pizza places because they just don't cut it. Pedro and Pizza USA knows how to make 'em! Excellent, rich, savory flavor, excellent sauce, large slices, perfect crispiness. The thin crust was absolutely perfect. I'm not ordinarily a fan of deep dish but i had to try their vegan version - excellent! Not soggy or greasy, crispy and just right. I tried all the available vegan slices: vegan White Pizza, Cali Vegan, and the Vegan Chicago Deep Dish. All were excellent. I will definitely be returning for more pie and to try their vegan sandwiches and baked vegan pastas. Thank you, Pizza USA! read more

I live nearby and always wanted to try it. Today was the 2nd time we ordered from there, and we love it. We order one pizza with pepperoni and mushroom and a second pizza named pesto basil. They are both great. We also order the potato wedges. By themselves, the wedges need salt, but they are good with the pink sauce it comes with (Chipotle sauce?). Attention vegans and vegetarians, you HAVE TO try this small joint in Bellflower. Hear me vegans when I say, they have seven vegan creations for pizza to choose from. They have vegan sandwich options, vegan pasta options, and they use "Follow Your Heart" vegan cheese instead of that lousy "Daiya" Vegan cheese. They make all their pizzas with a wonderful thin crust, so it's less carbs and it's guilt free, practically. The two vegan pizzas we tried tonight were the "Heaven" and the "Verde". The heaven was good, a nice blend of spicy with Vegan sausage, red onions, roasted bell peppers, jalapeno and pineapple pieces that made the pizza a very tasty pizza. But when I tell you the "Verde" is out of this world, I will drive from downtown Long Beach to Bellflower just to get this pizza, that's how good it is to me, my humble opinion. It's a perfect blend of pesto as the base, layering with spinach, artichoke hearts, cherry tomatoes, almond ricotta ( which I thought was polenta, surprised me), and a wonderful drizzle of the balsamic vinegar. I was over the Moon!! Why try this joint? Because it's my new favorite pizza place, because it's so damn delicious and they have plenty of vegan options to choose and no use of Dayia cheese - that's why! read more

I liked the customer service. I ordered an XL supreme it was $33.08 after tax. The pizza was tasty but we felt that the amount of toppings were scarce. It was tasty but could have been better if it had more cheese and a bit more of the toppings. I have mixed feelings about this spot. I am tempted to try their deep dish it looks promising. read more

If your looking for solid deep dish pizza options in bellflower this is the spot. They have great options for vegans as well. Me personally, I went for the non vegan version. My only complaint about the pizza was that the dough was cooked a little too much so it was a bit more crunchy than I'd like , but it wasn't too bad. The service was friendly and quick with making the pizza. I'll give this place another go when I'm in the mood for this type of pizza. read more

Terrible experience!!! I am NEVER going back!!! A 12 year old boy took the phone order and the communication was as expected. Unfortunately, I drove all the way home (25 minutes away) to discover the the pizza order was incorrect. I called in and instead of being apologetic the horrible employee scolded me as if it was my fault that they have a 12 year old taking phone orders. After requesting a new pizza (which they didn't want to rectify the mistake), he finally agreed but with an attitude. HORRIBLE HORRENDOUS customer service. He had to drive back (50 min round trip) and he was so unapologetic. Now it is almost 10 pm and we are just going to have dinner. Such an inconsiderate small business owner. read more

We tried this place for the first time last night and its so good!! We got the large pepperoni pizza, wings & knots and we enjoyed everything! I really enjoyed the sauce on the pizza, and I'm very picky on red sauces. The wings were very meaty - larger than what you get at wingstop. I am not one to usually write reviews. When I took my first bite of the vegan ziti I immediately was in awe of how amazing it tasted. It came with two garlic knots which were absolutely delicious. I also ordered the combo slice and got the vegan pepperoni and the margarita pizza. Both blew my mind with flavor and greatness. The vegan Caesar salad was so delicious and I will definitely be eating here way more often. I'm happy uber eats has that option. Thank you for having vegan options. First of all the buffalo cauliflower is the best i have ever had. Second the chunky cookie was good. Third verde pizza was probably the best vegan pizza we ever had too. The extra large was a good deal and it was fresh and even heating it up in the microwave it still came out good. I might just get another slice to go with my vegan michelada : D will def come again for more buffalo cauliflower and to try their other vegan pizzas. read more

This pizza spot continues to amaze me!! Got their vegan large bbq Chick'n ($18) and their vegan Mambacita ($18) this time! The Mambacita is a Buffalo style pizza with purple cauliflower, red onion, and vegan ranch drizzle! The vegan bbq Chick'n pizza comes with bbq sauce, vegan Chickn, red onion, pineapple, cilantro, and ranch drizzle! Both were amazing!!! The bbq Chick'n pizza was bomb!! But The mambacita! Really surprised me to be honest! I wasn't expecting much but the flavors and textures were immaculate! I love cauliflower, never would have thought to put it on a pizza but it really works!! This place is alright. I got the meat lovers pizza and it didn't take a long time for them to make it so that was good. When I got the pizza the flavor was kinda iffy. Also a lot of the toppings and the cheese were sliding off of the pizza so it was kinda hard to eat it. And in my opinion, this place is wayyy too expensive. This pizza was $26 and it definitely wasn't worth that much considering it didn't even taste that good. I was disappointed in this place. I probably wouldn't come here again but if I did, I definitely wouldn't get their pizza. read more

Best vegan pizza. They use follow your heart cheese,marinara sauce was good, and crust options available we had regular which we like. They had many options for vegans. Clean, with a few seats to eat inside if you like. Good for the whole family vegan and non vegan. read more

Food was okay but didn't have a fresh taste to it. Service was alright if not slow. For the price I wouldn't return again -- we ordered large pizzas but the boxes they have don't accommodate it well which resulted in part of our pizzas being folded over. read more

Man oh man!! This place has gone to another level since it's been under new management. I've been going to this place my entire life, I live around the block from here. Omnivore, Carnivore, Vegetation, or Vegan, this is some of the best pizza in LA County! It's easy to find good pizza and this place is no exception, but Pizza USA absolutely shines on the vegan front! A great value without all the pretentiousness of some vegan pizza places. Their vegan ricotta is amazing. I could eat that all day. I love that this place is dedicated to just offering good pizza at a good value. I really want to like this place (I have a fondness for historic dining) and I look forward to coming back to try the sandwiches and the pizza, both of which look good.

If you have friends who don't like raw fish, they also have a good selection of cooked items - tempura, chicken teriyaki, udon noodles, etc. There's really something for everyone. They have a bunch of TVs and will usually have the game on if there is one. There's also a lot of street parking and free parking lots around since it's Downtown Bellflower. The staff is really friendly and great and if u go in on the days where they have specials - you will def get the best bang for the buck. can't decide between the pizza and a sandwich? get the pizza sub! the pizza sub is one of my favs!! its pretty much a pizza in a sub - like an italian and a meatball sub that had a legitimate shaq sized baby. the lasagna is fantastic and the pulled pork sandwich is phenomenal. I dont understand who would give this place anything less than 4 stars - my only complaint is that they are so busy sometimes that i need to wait in line to order I figured it out and just started calling ahead to place my order... Soo happy to see pizza USA was open! Many other places were closed due to the storm and power outages. Haven't visited in a while and Didn't know that the ownership had changed recently, but was very excited to see some new friendly faces behind the counter. The food was amazing! just like I remembered. The young men working there now were very kind, and patient with me. I could see it was a little busy and I was told the wait might take up to 30 minutes, but seeing them all work together to get my order and all the others prepared was a sight. Great place. This is my 3rd time ordering from here and it's now on my list of places to order for lunch. The pizza is not greasy at all. The pizza is much better quality then hitting Pizza Hut or Dominoes. I always prefer the mom and pop spots since the food always has a more authentic taste to it. I also loved that they're not greedy at all with the cheese on their pizza which is a major plus. I'm looking forward to trying their other dishes now that I know how good their pizza is.
