Pizza world is very mediocre. The food is ok but the service was very heres your food and now go. I wouldn't suggest it to you.

We have ordered from here in the past with no problems but today placed an order @ 7:30 pm and as of 8:57 the order finally arrived. We called twice and were told the first time that it was on the way. The second time we were told it hadn't left yet. They are 1.5 miles away! We ended up sending it back because it was ice cold. My husband called and spoke to the manager about it. After some excuses they are remaking the order. read more

Should have left immediately but stayed because traffic in Branson at the moment was horrible.. And we had two kids and prams paeans in tow. We were sat at a table in a room that had 5 empty tables with plates still sitting there with partially eaten pizza. The chairs at our table were littered with crumbs, and one chair had a filthy rug of some sort sitting on it. The table had been wiped down but was wet and smelly from the cleaning chemical, and all the napkin wrapped silverware was sat directly in this. The kids and my wife complained about the smell, and they promptly sprayed it down again with same cleaning chemical. We soldered on and all ordered the "buffet" which comprised of a sad selection pizza and manicotti, salad and pasta. Awful service. We made it as far as the front door where the guy making pizza without sanitary gloves greeted us with, "You can't bring your dog in here." It's got a bright vest that clearly states it's a working service dog. He wasn't very happy after I told him that the dog falls under the American with Disabilities Act. I'm always worried about irritating a person who will be in charge of preparing my food, for obvious reasons. So we left. read more

We ordered delivery from Pizza world and I must say I was very pleased. They delivery was fast and the food was great. We ordered the buffalo chicken gourmet and the bianco gourmet pizza and they were delicious. I was worried the buffalo chicken might be too spicy but that wasn't the case, it was just right. We also has a salad, the deluxe antipasto, and it was awesome. Not a skimpy salad by any means. The house made creamy Italian dressing was also good. And last but not least the cinnamon sticks were the perfect sweet dessert. I would definitely recommend pizza world! read more

Absolutely wonderful!!! A must have in Branson. The pizza was delivered early than the estimated delivery time. The pizza was hot and fresh and tasted amazing. We got a great deal on Saturday 3/18, bought a large got a medium free with coupon. We fed a group of teenagers and they all loved every bite. Pretty decent meal for a few people. A little pricey but I think it's just because it's Branson tasted good and had a quick and nice call when ordering. The delivery time was typical to Branson and also true to what they told me, about 45 minutes. Overall good service. read more

Ordered two pizzas and both were so overdone that they were a hair away from being burned. They were so bad that we threw them away and called the manager who did not charge us for the order. He blamed the thin crust pizza and did offer to make us new ones however they were already 40 minutes later then they're expected time Time for delivery so we declined. read more

On a recent trip to Branson, we decided to order pizza in at our hotel. The front desk gave us coupons for this restaurant so we decided to place an order. The coupon we wanted to use was for 25% off an online order. There were no instructions or coupon codes on the coupon so I called the restaurant for assistance. The young man who answered the phone instructed us to place the order online and call him back to have the discount taken off our bill. I SPECIFICALLY asked him if the coupon was good on delivery and he stated it was. Order was placed and we called to get our discount. The rude teenage manager informed us that deal was for carry out only. When I brought it to his attention one of his employees had told us it was for delivery too, he was very rude and stated he would not honor the discount. Fine! Recommended by hotel but could do better. Cheesy breadsticks were burnt and not cheesy at all and very dry. Sauce came upside down and spilled. The pizza had a decent flavor but tasted like it had been sitting and crust wasn't good. Guess I should've looked on yelp instead of asking the front desk. read more

This was/has been the worst experience I have had with a local restaurant to date, maybe the worst ever. First of all we were double charged because we added a Pepsi after our order had already been placed (more of that later). It took an hour and 15 min to get it delivered, (I know right, insane!) The delivery guy shows up with 2 receipts, one for $22, and one for $25 which was the same just with the added Pepsi. Of course the first thing we ask is, "are we being charged twice?" Delivery guy assures no, we have not been charged twice and in fact our machines wouldn't let us do that even if we wanted too. So of course we believe him (dumb right?) Now the food. Terrible. The cheese sticks! I'll tell you how you make Pizza World cheese sticks at home. Go buy Pizza Hut cheese sticks, put them in the refrigerator for 3 days, reheat, and boom! You have Pizza World Cheese sticks. Pizza was gross and almost no topping. Cinnamon rolls things were like little charcoal brickets with cinnamon sprinkled on top. Oh yeah, the $25 Pepsi, warm. Who wants cold Pepsi with your pizza anyways. Ok, now the real problem. Later we notice that in fact we had been charged twice. $50 for pizza not worth $3. So I called Pizza World. Got treated like shit from all 4 people I talked too. Finally got to "Joe" the Manger. He assured me that they refunded my money and that it won't go through til midnite. So of course I trusted him. I mean, it's his job to make sure customers are happy right? Now here I am, 2 days later and no refund. So I think, maybe it's my bank because Joe promised me he refunded my money. I call the bank, guess what!? No refund. They say Pizza World has not tried to refund my money, and if they would, I would get it immediatly. So I was lied too. Over, and over and over. They have stolen my money. I WILL NEVER EVER EAT HERE AGAIN. I DON'T GIVE A SHIT IF THEY GIVE ME FREE PIZZA FOR LIFE, I WILL NEVER GO BACK AND I'M GOING TO TELL EVERYONE WITH EARS NOT TO EAT HERE. We ate there for lunch on Aug 23, 2011. With that being our first visit to Pizza World we had no idea what kind of pizza we wanted to get, so the buffet was the best choice for us. They had 5 different pizzas as well as a dessert pizza to choose from. All of them were delicious! Our favorite was the chicken, bacon, ranch pizza. Tons of flavors from the first bite. We weren't too thrilled with their chocolate dessert pizza though, too rich for our taste. The service was great except we could hear our server complaining loudly about the delivery drivers in the back. That would have to be our only complaint however. This is a small buffet restaurant, but they make their food from scratch. My family and I were looking for a good, inexpensive place to eat and we found it. The staff was very polite even offering to make a pizza for the buffet of our choosing. It baffles me this place has 1.5 stars. It deserves much more. Yuck. Address on yelp was wrong. The concierge at Welk Resorts recommended this place. Are you kidding me?. Its a buffet. They don't even make the pizza here and it was terrible. Salad bar was okay but italian dressing was thick and sweet tasting. There are only 5 or 6 pizzas to choose from. They all tasted like onion. There was some pasta and sauce. The pasta was nice and al dente, but sauce was very plain. Must have been from a can. 2 girls at front desk didnt speak english. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. Stopped in for the all you can eat Pizza Wings and Salad. 6 other people in the business. Wednesday night must be jalapeño night. Almost ever pizza they brought out. Not a good place for gluten free. We were told by the owner that they had several ingredients that were gluten free. Okay, if you want just a veggie and cheese pizza on a gluten free crust, you can probably get it here. The manager told us that the only meat they were sure didn't have gluten was the pepperoni. So, again if you want cheese, pepperoni and veggies, it's probably okay. Any of the other specialty pizza's like BBQ, etc. were NOT safe and they did not have a LOT of GF offerings as the owner said in the email he sent me prior to our arrival. Disappointed for sure!!!! We went to the store (Nature's Sunshine) and picked up an Udi's three cheese pizza. We went to the grocery and bought some safe sausage and made a pizza in our condo that evening. I was a little scared to order pizza from this place because of the reviews, but I took my time to read the reviews in the problems other people had were not with the taste of the pizza. I am glad I took a chance because our pizza arrived quickly, was hot and fresh and delicious. We are a family of four and all four of us had different pizzas and they were all delicious. The crust is very good, the variety of pizzas offered is very good. I would've given this five stars except my son ordered a chicken bacon ranch pizza and instead he got the chicken Alfredo pizza. The chicken Alfredo pizza was delicious, however it was not the chicken bacon ranch pizza so he was disappointed. I did not bother to call the store to let them know they got our order wrong so I do not know how they would have handled it. Time is precious in Branson and we spent 40 minutes waiting for our order just to be told that the kitchen hadn't started cooking it yet! We were on our way to a show and couldn't wait another minute. There was only one waitress for the whole restaurant...and she was rude. The kitchen spent all their time filling the buffet line and neglecting the menu customers. We had to run out and grab a burger to make it to the show in time. I know there have been a to of bad reviews for this place, but we order two pizza's and a sub from them for delivery and it was really good. The sandwich had read bread. We got a special of a larger one topping for for $8 + delivery fee. Everyone really liked the pizza, The crust was really good as well. This was our first time. We ordered California pizza spin-dip it was perfect for a group with different tastes. I didn't know what a California Spin-dip was, the name still confuses me. There wasn't any spin or dip lol. I haven't stopped raving about it. It was listed under Speciality Pizza. I also order a Greek salad and garlic bread. I ordered online for delivery so convenient. On the salad came green peppers and jalapeños on top, my sister doesn't like those items. It was my fault because you can place your order with a choice of what you want or don't want. The salad was excellent in spite of my mistake it came in a separate container it was not a small portion and not huge, just right. We also received plenty of dressing. The garlic bread wasn't the best I ever had but very tasty, you could taste the garlic, I've had some you couldn't taste at all, this was very good. The garlic bread came with marinara sauce we did not use it because the bread didn't need it. Overall, I would order the same meal again! Pizza World is a buffet style place so you get what you get. Manage your expectations! If we don't have kiddos, we prefer to order from the menu where the salads are better and pizza too usually but you'll pay more of course. We ordered pizza and a salad last night to take back to the hotel. Ordered extra cheese and sauce, which didn't happen, but pizza wasn't bad. Really, the issue was with the manager, who, when we went back in to ask for a FORK, told us they "usually don't give out forks". Um excuse me, customer pays $34 for a pizza and salad for carry out in a vacation town, and you want to argue when they have to ask for a fork to eat the salad with? Seriously?
