There was one person working the counter during lunch hour. Not a huge deal, but there were a few in front of us with more complicated orders. The inside is kind of like a generic cafeteria. Not a lot of decor and not very welcoming... just kind of odd. I got the hummus sandwich with pasta salad. The food was just kind of mid. The hummus was good, but the sandwich didn't have many veggies on it and the pasta salad was very bland. The restrooms here were also kind of grungy. Overall, it was just a very average place with odd vibes. Nothing particularly wrong with it, but I probably wouldn't return unless going with a group who wanted to try it. One good thing is that they do have plenty of vegetarian options and a gluten free menu (you have to inquire about that).

The soup and sandwiches are freshly made and we usually order pastries to go for the following morning when vacationing in Branson. I had the chili and sandwich. They also have a kids' menu, even though it is not listed on the regular menu, which is nice to know if you are bringing children with you. The staff is always awesome, friendly, and welcoming. I also love that the restaurant is located inside an old historic hotel, which gives it such a cool atmosphere -- and maybe even a few ghost stories. Overall, it is a great spot with good food, great service, and a fun historic feel. I definitely recommend checking it out.
