I have been to this location many times and have yet to be disappointed. The pizza is great; the crust has a lot of flavor and, even on the buffet, food is always hot and fresh. I especially love their sandwiches. For a quick meal or something delivered to your hotel, this can't be beat. From reading the other reviews, there have been some bad experiences. But this restaurant does not, in any way, deserve a one-star rating! I highly recommend eating here. I don't find the prices to be unreasonable, either. We had supper there this past week. Quick trip to Branson; not much else open that evening right after the New Year. Good pizza; the teenagers liked it. We did like the thin crust. Pizza Buffet. My experience is that they cannot keep up with the demand for pizza. Too many weird brands come up. Had to wait 20 minutes for pepperoni or sausage when that should be a constant. When the traditional pies come out people swoop up the slices and then you have to wait again. Overall it is not expensive but the quality of the pizza does not warrant the extremely long wait. Do not go there as they do not follow/enforce covid requirements. Many customers come into the restaurant not wearing a mask. Even the customers from the outdoor patio come inside for refills without mask and nothing said. Customers are allowed to operate the soda machine touching with there hands and no new refill cup. There were 2 employees on there off day in the restaurant without mast (they mentioned when another customer asked a question). Other than normal wipe cloth, did not see any special cleaning. This is not my first visit to Pizza World, just my first visit to this particular location. I will state for the record that the staff was very friendly on the phone and in person. My complaint? They tried to sell me a very small pizza for a ridiculous price. We were staying at the condo and wanted to watch a movie there so I called out for a pizza to be picked up by me. The one I ordered was a small with 4 toppings. When I arrived and they brought out this tiny box I knew there would be a problem. I opened the box and saw a tiny pizza, reminiscent of the personal pizzas that Pizza Hut offers for lunch. But not nearly as thick. It might have added up to 2 normal slices. It would not have been enough for me, and it was certainly not enough for two people. The price was almost $10, I could've bought a large from several other places at that price. I'm not a jerk but I told the cashier - "there is no way I'm paying almost $10 for that tiny pizza" and I left it sitting on the counter and I walked out. We were not greeted and assumed that we could just choose somewhere to sit. We made note of the buffet and asked our inattentive waiter a couple easy questions about the place. The biggest one: how long does it take for a made to order pizza versus the buffet. We were on a time crunch and needed to get out the door in a timely manner. He assured us that the the process to make a pizza from scratch was 7-8 minutes. Um, no. After 15-20 minutes the eight inch pizzas that we ordered arrived. They were fine. Not great, not horrible, just fine. The buffet, however, was an experience unto itself. 1. Salad is clearly just dumped out of a bag 2. Dressings were mixed and kept at room temperature 3. Garlic bread appeared to be left over hotdog buns that crumbled because they were so hard 4. The wings...don't get me started. The breading was horrible, the meat inside didn't appear to be natural and the sauce didn't add any flavor. The worst boneless wings I've ever eaten. No joke! 5. The pizza was cold and the selection was extremely limited. 6. Dessert pizza was a great idea, but appeared to have pudding ON THE PIZZA. I tried it...it was weird. When we reached the point that we really need to leave, we flagged down the waiter and interrupted his conversation with the other guys in the kitchen. TL;DR: Don't do it. The delivery driver was way more concerned about his tip. The manager promised to take care of it and call me back for multiple days, and didn't, another manager told me I was just out of luck, and the owner told me it had been taken care of even after I had told him that I had not received the refund and had checked it with my bank. We waited for our pizza for over an hour, and honestly the pizza wasn't worth the wait. The employees were sitting around on their phones talking instead of helping people, and they left one lady to run the whole place. She seems to be overworked and the rest of the employees look pretty lazy to me. Considering how busy the place is, it's understandable that the wait would be a little long, but not this long. Our resort gave us a coupon for Pizza World so we decided to try it out one of the evenings we didn't feel like going out. We placed an order for 2 pizzas and wings. We ordered the wings extra cooked and made sure to order crushed red pepper, Parmesan cheese and two orders of blue cheese. When the driver arrived, he didn't have crushed red pepper nor Parmesan. We stated we specifically asked for it but he wasn't even apologetic nor offered to send later if possible. Ok, we decided it was no big deal. We always order delivery from Pizza Work after a long day at Silver Dollar City and it's always great! I recommend the Appondanza Signature Pizza, it has 12 toppings and it's really good. If you don't like big chunks of tomatoes I would leave them off. read more

Combine it with the fact that this is in Branson and you get a place that isn't going to set you back a lot of money, it's food your kids will love and it's quick. Just going to throw this out there.
