Very disappointing experience overall. Approached the counter to ask for a restroom key and a plastic bag and was met with very rude behavior from an older bald delivery driver (possibly named Adam or Alex). He put his hand up to silence me, said he was "on a call," and then immediately started dialing after dismissing me, which felt unnecessary and disrespectful. The restroom was also in poor condition and not well maintained. On a positive note, Maria was very kind and professional and apologized for the situation--she was the only bright spot in the visit. I do want to acknowledge that another employee, Maria, was very kind and professional. She was friendly, apologized for the inconvenience, and handled the situation far better than her coworker. Got a individual size gluten-free and vegan pie. It was very simple, but I was glad to get a little pie for myself, often when you get a gluten-free crust you have to get a really big pizza and sometimes that's hard if you're traveling and you don't know if you're gonna be able to eat at all. So mostly I was just grateful to be able to get a small individual sized pizza that was gluten-free and vegan, I called ahead of time and they told me that the gluten-free crust was also vegan. My friend got a meaty calzone and he really enjoyed it. Very low-key inside, on a weekend night there weren't many people eating inside. They had some TVs on with basketball games so that could be something you could try. They also had a full bar, including liquor. I had some white wine, but they didn't have any cold so I had to get ice cubes in it, oh well! We always get the BBQ chicken pizza or Hawaiian BBQ pizza. They both are good especially with ranch. We also tried the chipotle chicken calzone and it was creamy juicy and crisp. Also pretty big 10/10 ! The jalapeno poppers are addicting. Pricey for only 6pcs though. Pizza man dans is a couple bucks more than toppers but they both are pretty good in their own ways. We ordered our pan pizza well done and we were very satisfied with the cook. Toasty on the outside, nice and fluffy yet chewy. As a person who doesn't typically eat my crust this was great. Ordered a medium thin crust marguerita pizza for pick-up. All went well with pick up although the box felt cold when I took it from the server. I didn't open it to look at the pizza which was my fault. The pizza was cold, undercooked and way over sauced with a sickly red goo straight out of a can. The crust was limp. Always a pleasure coming to this Pizzaman Dans. Employees are kind and helpful. Pizza comes out fresh, warm, and tastes great. They do deliver on base and offer military discount. Cost: medium one topping pepperoni pizza $18.48 Cleanliness: very clean and well maintained Location: right across from the hotel and right by the beach. Every time I go and get pizza man dan's, not only am I greeted with a decent customer service, which is fine don't get me wrong, I'm there to eat some food, not socialize. The food always comes out at fantastic speed, I've been here several times and have never had an issue with my orders. Today I got the carryout special for cheese pizza with thin crust, the crust was crispy and it had a nice flavor to it, despite it being rather on the cheaper end of the wallet. Today I also tried for the first time at this establishment- a build your own calzone. With just an edition of onions, I ended up getting something similar to the meatsa, very delicious! Very greasy, but that's expected when you're throwing four meats inside some dough with Extra Cheese LOL. Overall, I cannot wait to get some fantastic, delicious, quick and easy zza' from them again soon!
