The BEST Pizza in St Louis! I come from a family of New York Italians so that's saying something. Do yourself a favor, get the garlic cheese bread and make SURE you get the marinara sauce. While the employees were very friendly and helpful, the pizza itself is not good. There is way too much cheese on it, making it impossible to hold and eat and taking over all the other ingredients. Pizzarelli's is my families 1st choice when it comes to ordering pizza, wings and appetizers. It has been over six months since we have ordered any other pizza (except Sky Pizza in Pensacola...YUMMMM!). Every experience...about seven times now, has been way above normal. The service, value, quality and convenience has been a genuine 5 star in all four of the categories. They are located behind CVS and Chipotle at Manchester and Clarkson. SERVICE: Extremely nice and personable owners. Even the few employees I have met have been friendly and personable also. The owners are the ones are cooking the pizzas when i go in to get mine and at the very least they are overseeing the food they send out. They interact with all the customers as you would expect an involved manager/owner should do. The seven times i have been there I have never seen anyone dining in. There are 7-8 tables but it is more designed as a carryout or delivery. I have never ordered delivery so i can't attest to that component of their business. I do carryout because I want to eat ASAP when i start thinking about their wings and pizza! VALUE: Our very first order was interesting. We got two 18" New York pizzas (1 pepperoni, 1 Italian sausage) a spicy sausage Chicago deep dish, 24 "crispy" hot wings, cheese bread and ranch bacon cheese fries (yes, cheese fries at a pizza joint). We knew there would be left overs and wanted that. So at $74 bucks we were taking a risk, it sooo payed off. The pile of food was huge. The three pizzas alone weighed over 15 lbs. We had pizza and wings for leftovers for my family of six for several days and it reheated great! Some might say quantity doesn't equate to quality, and usually that tends to be true, but the true value is, the quality was fantastic also!! For a family of six and all are pretty good eaters, a single 18" New York and 24 wings fills everyone up and still have a piece or two of pizza leftover with a half dozen wings leftover also...great value!! QUALITY: If you are allergic to cheese, don't go here!!!! The crust on the New York...as good as it gets. The cheese is put on heavy and it is delicious. (cheese bread, cheese fries and pizzas) The deep dish gets another mention for the heavy cheese....CHEESEAGEDON!!!! Their toppings are top notch, best pepperoni around (second only to Shakespeare in Columbia) Ohhh, the big buffalo wings! Best in a long time. "Crispy" are lightly floured and hold the sauce! Ranch cheese fries...HUGE HIT. My families usual appetizer at Outback, these are better here!! Cheese bread...the buttery, gooey, garlic goodness that was one of the bigger hits for us. From the ranch to the sausage, it was obvious they make most everything from scratch and it offers a much better quality. We have made it through about 1/3 of the menu items and their quality on everything we have tried has been impressive so we are looking forward to Carryout Nights to add a new item along with our standard 18" pepperoni and 24 crispy hot wings. Salad was fresh and standard fare but YUM on the croutons and their Italian dressing!!!!! They should be proud of their high quality at such a fair price! CONVENIENCE: This varies because of where everyone lives, but we live about 2 miles away and just call in about thirty minutes before we want to eat and it has always been hot, ready to go and an easy in and out for us. The Deep Dish take much longer to cook so it usually is ready in about 45-50 minutes if you get that pizza. A suggestion to those eating a deep dish..wait about 15-20 minutes for it to cool a little before taking a piece out, it will be a mozzarella tsunami in the box because the cheese will flood into the space the piece taken out once occupied. SERIOUSLY!! Well that's our experience at Pizzarelli's and obviously we are glad they are nearby. Great food, great service, great value.....AWESOME! WHAT A SHIT SHOW!!!! I called for delivery and I was super pumped about them having Chicago DEEP DISH!!! Getting through the ordering process over the phone was extremely difficult and I had to repeat myself multiple times(online ordering is not available). As you know your zip code must match your debt card, I told him it was not coming back to the right location, he must have entered it wrong, and I was told it didn't matter. So 40 minutes later they called to tell me my card was declined...told you so!!! So finally after over an hour later my COLD pizza arrived!!! Pizzarelli's is the bomb.com. if you want new york style pizza in St. Louis, Pizzarelli's is the sole authority on the subject, second to none. If you are more of a thin crust guy, try the Chicago thin 'n' crispy, my personal favorite. They also have a deep dish for all you Deep Dish Daddies, and a St. Louis style if that's how you roll. The wings are drenched in a house made buffalo sauce that is fantastico. I go here all the time, and rarely have any issues. The few times there has been a problem they have bent over backwards to resolve it. It's not the cheapest in town, and can take a while sometimes. But if you're looking for cheap and fast pizza, there's a Domino's up the street, have fun, more Pizzarelli's for me. read more

Despite being so busy they handled it all pretty well and my pick up order was only a few minutes off. This was for a small family gathering and we agreed we liked all the food pretty well but the pizza itself was no standout. The salad was very a very good mix, ate it all. Average! Everything about this place screams average. The only thing worse than the pizza was how run down the interior was. Staff was not helpful and looked like wannabe hipsters, unshaven, piercings galore, and just messy looking. Pizza was soggy by the time we got it home, 20 minutes later. Lots of toppings, but crust was bland and sausage was just mediocre. If we hadn't bought a Groupon, we wouldn't have even bothered. We certainly will not return . This is quality pizza. I have been coming here for awhile. There pizza is unline anything else around. I really enjoy the thick crust. It is made by rolling up the edges of the pizza till it has a thick crust and usually some topping are in the crust too, yummy. Cheapest pizza around, no, but high quality and always have coupons. They also have a pretty far delivery range. I am near 141 and manchester and they deliver to me. You get a good amount of toppings and if you order extra cheese I guarentee you that you will know you got extra cheese. Their thin crust is also good as well. read more
