Really terrible pizza. It was a flavorless greasy mess on a cardboard crust. I would rather eat any frozen pizza I've ever tried.

Picked Pizzazz (Nags Head) because of location and we had a coupon. We were very pleased with our choice. Three specialty pizzas and a double order of wings later and our group of 8 was happy and well fed. High marks from everyone. We ordered pizza and wings for delivery. The order came quickly but the wings were missing. The delivery guy said he would go get them and come back. He never did. We called back after 60 min and the guy punched out. So we're screwed, right? No. They righted the wrong on a future order. Food was good and ultimately so was the service. read more

Always quality pizza, the crust is real good. Very friendly staff. 3rd time ordering carryout here, but they do have seating inside. Have not tried their wings or other offerings. A little more expensive than the chain restaurants but the quality is much better. read more

Store in Nags Head only has about 10 booths all were full with people waiting. Place is simply too small. Didn't stick around to watch others eat their food. Don't go during prime eating times. Went back two days later and was actually able to get a booth. Problem is the pizza was really no better than CiCi's for those familiar with that change. Don't bother. Go to the New York Pizza Pub a little further up the road. Best pizza in OBX. read more

Out of sub buns despite a Food Lion in the same shopping center? Pizza crust on the outer rim was good, in center underbaked and gooey. Pizza was very average. Good fries with skins on. Chicken tenders tasted freezer burned and looked very cheap like from the frozen freezer aisle. read more

The pizza is decent for the price, but the woman working the front counter was incredibly rude. She became frustrated when we asked about the remainder of our order being done, they only gave us half originally. When I tried to get pepper flakes she grabbed it out of my hand and told me no. OK pizza - but the big draw is that for whatever reason, all of nags head closes down at like 10 on a Friday, so if you need late night delivery, this is one of the few choices you have. We had the hurricane white without jalapenos, and it was actually pretty good. we were really hungry after finally making to nags head and checking into our hotel, so we didn't care what we had as long as it was food, but we were pleasantly surprised. read more

12 members of our family stopped for lunch & the staff was very accommodating The (?) owner had several more pizzas made for us for the lunch buffet. The pizza was very good, as was the salad. The vote was unanimous, we all liked it and would order from Pizzazz Pizza again! We had the pizza delivered, it arrived hot and early. I ordered the vegetarian hot sub and my son (who is one of the most picky eaters ever) ordered a small pepperoni pizza. Although it took a long time to get the food, the hot sub was the best I've ever had and my difficult to please son loved the pizza. Staff was friendly. The place doesn't look like much, but I'd recommend the food. They have free delivery, which is the way I'll go next time. They could benefit from a designer to spruce up the interior, but otherwise very happy with the $20 I spent on dinner! read more

This place really disappointed. The meatballs on the meatball sub were comparable to pet food and the salads consisted of a lot of iceburg with minimal toppings and bad(like spit-it-out bad) cherry tomatoes. The chicken wings were ok at best, but they forgot the sauce. Maybe it was because our hotel recommended Pizzazz so we expected it to be decent, but either way this was teetering on the line of questionable and verging on inedible. I realize now this establishment must prey on visitors that don't know any better and bank on being one of the only delivery joints. read more

Worst dining experience I have ever had. I drove my siblings down for 8 hours and after our long trip we decided on pizza. We called in for pick up and were told it would be 45 minutes. We were told it was not ready yet (after an hour) and used the time to shop at the next door grocery store. An additional 20 minutes later, the food was still not ready. It has been 90 minutes at this point, so I asked if our order was ever submitted. The staff was confusing and were unclear with what happened to our order. I asked if we could reorder our food and have it ready in 30 minutes or less. They said they could have it in 75 minutes. So, starving after not eating for 12 hours and having no other options, we re-placed our order for delivery so we didn't have to wait around any longer. We verified our address and phone number and I had to ask for a receipt incase there were additional issues with the order. 75 minutes went by and the food still wasn't delivered- it was 9:00pm. We called and asked about our order and they said "we're working on it". So we went back and fought with them for our money back. Besides the absolutely awful staff and service, the food is expensive and disgusting looking! There was a line of other customers with similar issues complaining for their money back. Unfortunately, I couldn't get my time back! The whole ordeal lasted for 3 hours. Don't go to Pizzazz pizza if you're looking for an experience above disgusting and atrocious. read more

Best pizza buffet. If you come to the Outer Banks, go to Pizzazz Pizza in Nags Head or Kitty Hawk for the lunch buffet. The other locations do not have the full buffet. The luch buffet comes with a variety of Pizza, usually 5-6 different kinds. It has a pasta bar and a salad bar. The salad bar appears small, but it actaully has everything you need for a good salad. The potato salad is my favorite. It is a tradition to stop at Pizzazz Pizza for the lunch buffet when we first arrive in the Outer Banks before we are able to check-in the rental house. It hits the spot after a long drive. The value cannot be beat and you get a variety of food. The pizza is somewhat average, but the variety and freshness results in four stars. It is also open in the off-season which is an added plus. read more

Average pizza. Better than Little Caesar's. Wadda ya expect from the south, real pizza? South is noted for BBQ, fried chicken, and sweet tea, not pizza. Whether you have it delivered or pick it up yourself, chances are it won't be piping hot due to the distances. If you're close, it'll probably be hot. In my case, I picked it up and it was warm when I got home as the place is ten miles away. I definitely would order again. The two stars means its an average pie. Bon appetite! read more
