This was our first time visiting and it exceeded every expectation we had. After having pizza at many places in the OBX over the years, I think I can say this is the best so far. The pizza was great, especially the high-quality toppings. Even if the pizza wasn't so good, I would go there just for the chicken wings. I'm in town from Buffalo. We love Pizza and Wings in Buffalo. Is this the best pizza I've ever had? No. Is it really great pizza for North Carolina, you betcha. Heck, it's better than most out of state pizza I've had. One thing that absolutely ASTONISHED me was how CLEAN this man's pizza shop was. I've never seen anything rival it. I worked in a pizza shop that took cleaning pretty serious but I've honestly never seen hoods, counters, fryers etc that were so spotless they looked brand new. I mentioned it and he pointed to a paper he had on the wall which showed he had a 100 score from the health inspector. Nice guy, super reasonable prices. Good pizza. He doesn't have enough staff and he doesn't have time to shoot the bull on the phone. Figure out what you want, call and order. I'll keep going back. How many times do you goto Pizza Hut or papa John's and it sucks, the workers just dropped your food on the floor, smoked, or took the trash out before making your food or even handled it afterwards? Great chicken wings! Wasn't alot of choices for wings in the area at the end of December but this place had a great place and good wings!

The pizza was pretty good. A bit greasy (just absorb it with napkins). The location is a bit hard to find so you have to look carefully. After you pull into the shopping center, you will see Super Wings in front of you. Madison's Pizza is on the left side about half way down the strip. read more

BEWARE! If you seek good customer service, with a side of humility along with your food, this is not the place to be. I was passing through the area and decided on pizza for lunch and called up this place to ask about price of their cheese pizza. To my surprise the person on the phone immediately informed me "That's the only one question I am answering!" and hung up. I thought it was some sort of joke and called back to order. At the store for pickup, I figured there would be an employee with a weird sense of humor, but instead, the only person there was the owner, who remembered me from the phone and went into a tirade about how he doesn't have time answer questions and does not care if he looses customers and assessed that I must be some corporate type who does not say what I mean, but he does. He went on for a while more, berating his customers, while I stood there in awe of the degree of negativity spewing from him, completely unprovoked. I never met the guy before. As I was exiting, he then arrogantly yells "Please leave me a negative review!!". Never before in all the countries , states, cities and towns I have visited, have I encountered a business owner who is as unprofessional and self sabotaging as this guy. Based on his reviews, I can see others have called him out on his rudeness and I have seen him respond with even more unprofessionalism. I fully expect him to exhibit the same in response, instead of looking inwards. First time I have tried this relatively new pizza place here in Nags Head. Ordered a large pepperoni pizza in mid-afternoon over the phone. I was told the pizza would be ready in 15 minutes. I arrived one minute early and he had just boxed the pizza - great timing. Left a nice tip for that! The pizza was simply outstanding. The crust (which I rarely comment on) was cooked perfectly. Too often pizza's are soggy or overcooked. This pizza crust was perfection at its best. And the crust tasted great. For toppings, there was plenty of pepperoni, no need to order double pepperoni. The cheese was cooked great - not burnt brown like some other places. Sauce was good and the right quantity for a pizza. Highly recommend trying Madison's Pizza if you are on the Outer Banks and want pizza. Five stars! read more

This has become our go-to pizza place. The crust perfectly cooked with just the right amount of crispiness. The sauce is tangy and the pepperoni is spicy. My kids love the veggie pizza. Their wings are meaty and I especially like their dry rub wings. Different that what you get at most places. Even the ones with sauces are still crispy. I admire the work ethic of the owner.
