I had heard mixed reviews about this place so I'm trying to stay open minded. The cashier completely mixed up our order and over billed us, but he was young and seemed new , he ended up fixing it so all was good. When I went back to ask if they served Ranch (cuz I'm an addict) he was very short and rude. (He also kept drooling, so it's a good thing he wasn't over the food prep.) However as he was doing this the lady serving the food was eating on the line. I believe that's is a health code violation... My kids got a pepperoni and loved it. I really like Pizzeria Limone. The atmosphere is hip and casual, and the food is really, really good. I've been a couple times, and in both visits I've tried the Insalata Caprese, Tre Sorelle salad, Margherita pizza, Buongiorno pizza, Lemon Gelato, and Limone Brownie (what can I say, I like food). The only item I wasn't crazy about was the gelato - the flavor was very refreshing, but it was brick hard and not creamy at all. Their pizzas rival any other high end pizzeria, but their prices are very reasonable. The crust is thin and crisp, with a great char on it from the oven and a nice chewy texture. The salads are fresh and very attractive. The only downside to the restaurant is their use of only disposable dishes/cutlery, which is really wasteful and not particularly earth-friendly (I'm from Oregon, I can't help it). I wish they would switch to regular dishware at least and skip the plastic containers!!! read more

I went tonight to get dinner from Pizzeria Limone. I ordered on this app because I knew it would be busy on a Friday night. I had an order pickup for 6:45 and drove 10 minutes to go pick it up. When I got there, It said my food was all ready to go for pick up. I went inside and there was a long line but I thought my food would be ready. I waited for 15 minutes after talking to an employee about getting my food and it finally came. When I sat down to eat it, it was basically watered down pizza sauce. I would barely pick it up and it kept on sliding the toppings around and it had no flavor. My pizza was also cold and not warm. The cheese was melted but because it was cold it was hard blobs all over the pizza. I feel like the quality has gone down and it makes me sad, I typically love this place. read more

I really enjoyed eating at Pizzeria Limone. The pizza was delicious, we tried the Viola and the Pepperoni with a balsamic glaze. The Viola had blackberries of all things on a pizza and it actually went together really well. Their balsamic glaze was tasty and pulled together the ingredients. I like a little char on my crust, but on some pieces it was more than a little, which brought the overall quality down a bit for me. I have had better wood fired pizzas, but I will say that this one was quite good. I appreciated that their menu gave an accurate and in depth description of each item. It was also really fun to watch the staff pull the dough and make the pizza right in front of you. This restaurant is new, clean, and modern. Everything looks really sleek and nice, but my only complaint is that the tables can't be moved. The table I first sat at felt like it was in the way of a common walking path and I ended up having to move because I felt like I was in the way. I ordered the Caprese pizza which comes with 5 cheese, onions, tomato slices, basil and balsamic vinegar. The crust of the pizza is thin and flimsy so it isn't able to hold the giant (cold) tomato slices. There are 5 types of cheeses, but actually it seems like there is only a hint of cheese (which is sad, because I really like cheese). Visiting from Nevada for a few days and we figured we'd try something new. Found this place thanks to Yelp and. Well, let's get into it, shall we? Full disclosure, we ordered delivery via grubhub through Yelp. Food came hot and on time to the hotel room. Not as hot as right out of the oven I'm sure, but your taste buds won't much care. This pizza is sublime. The crust is thin and crispy around the edges and has a nice cracker-like crunch to it, but the upper layers are beautifully chewy and glutinous. Beautifully developed flavors of yeasty, bready goodness let you know that this place cares about their dough. And the toppings. Perfectly balanced, without being excessive. They compliment the crust without overwhelming it. Delicious! My wife and I both really liked the Viola (the one with blackberries) and the Pera (the one with pears), but we devoured all the pies with equal amounts of gusto. We also ordered the zuppas, which brings me to my one, singular complaint. Whomever packed our order forgot to include any spoons! Worry not, we quickly adapted and overcame this minor setback. We tried three: Salame with Olives (4 star): Delicious sauce, generous cheese, and the meat and olives were flavorful. Note: these are legit Italian olives with overpowering traditional flavor, so ensure you like them when ordering. Pear Prosciutto Pie: (5 stars) I loved this pie; the pear plus Prosciutto plus balsamic was great. Note: prosciutto is different from ham, ensure you like it before ordering. Prosciutto and Blackberry Pie: (4 stars) This was also very good, with basil, red sauce, salame and blackberries. It was my least favorite of the three. You can have pizza with blackberries, pears, or lemons for the weirdos and they have normal pizza for other people that just want things to taste good. My only issue is that the pizza comes out fast, but if you order a salad it can take 10-15 minutes longer. Kinda counter-intuitive. The pizza selections are pretty vast plus you can choose to make your own. I got the caprese and was hoping they had pesto sauce but they didn't. The flavor was pretty good but the balsamic was a bit over powering. Next time I would get a different pizza. The best part was the Pear-Basil Lemonade. OMG. It's like like liquid candy. Sooo good. Only downside is that the parking and ease of access to get into the plaza is always really difficult during busy hours but that's not on them of course. It was my first time here. I glanced at the menu for 2 seconds and asked the waitress to recommend. They don't actually have tons of choices but I like to tell them, you have one chance, so impress me. Ok not those exact words, but something along that line. I ended up with The Caprese. It was fresh from the oven and you can so tell. I mean taste wise, since they actually put your choice of pizza in the oven right under your nose after you ordered. First impression I thought olive oil and balsamic vinegar taste were strong, so if you don't like them, then order something else. I like them. They complement the soft dough well. I also had Insalata Caprese Salad. I actually wanted to go with something else, but i saw them making one of this and thought it looked interesting. Nothing looked so unlike a salad than this, so don't expect leafy green dish. This is mainly tomatoes and mozzarella cheese, garnished with generous amount of, again, olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Very simple but full mark for presentation. Every chew brings me closer to Fontana de Trevi. Overall, this place did not disappoint. I even met my big boss from work here, so this place is work-approved lol. I felt like i had eaten fresh and pretty healthy food when i left. Very dissatisfied with our last three pizza purchases from this place. The pizzas used to be larger but they have now shrunk the size & diameter of each pizza by 1.5 to 2 inches. Every pizza is now smaller. The new size is like a 'kiddie pizza' and is simply not worth the price. I hope that they go back to the original size, but until they do, I'm boycotting Pizzeria Limone.
