This has been my go to for dinners after physical therapy and before karate on Thursday nights. It has definitely changed and upgraded a lot since I first came here (was it Protein Haus? I can't remember the name now) years ago. I appreciate the focus on lean proteins. Everything I've tried here has been awesome! I enjoy the protein pasties stocked there too, which I get to stock in my car for snacks. It does get busy, but I haven't been when it has been too packed. We loved our food selections and shakes! I got the delicious chicken curry bowl with sweet potato wedges (couldn't resist). Others in my group got the FK burger, blackened chicken caesar wrap, and the blackened bbq chicken bowl. All these dishes were tasty! For drinks we got the following shakes: chocolate pb love and cookie butter! I will be going here to try their other options. Both my sister and I enjoyed our shakes! My son got the mocha frappe and said he'd recommend it. Overall 5 stars for dishes and drinks. The staff were very kind and friendly as well. The ambiance is casual, and inviting. I had high expectations for this place and it unfortunately let me down. I ordered the Hawaiian Burger and there was a big lack of flavor. The pineapple was very hard and unripe, and the sauce didn't taste like much. The sweet potato wedges weren't what you'd expect either. They're basically diced sweet potatoes with a bit of seasoning. On top of the food lacking flavor, I thought it was overpriced. Oh, and there was a hair in my burger. Yuck. Honestly I'd probably give my experience 2 stars but I'm sticking with 3 because my friends liked their food and there was still a lot of other stuff on the menu that looked good. So disappointed. We walked in at 7:45 thinking they closed at 9. We missed the sign taped on the door that said they have different hours than listed online. They didn't tell us they were closing, so we sat down after ordering, and they started cleaning up around us I asked if they were closing soon, and was just given a very curt yes. Had they mentioned that they close soon when we were ordering, we would've asked for a to-go order or possibly gone somewhere else, but instead, we were just told they bagged it ad a takeout because they're closing. This visit we were looking for a place that we could sit down and eat as a family so that was a bummer. The food was OK. My rice bowl tasted like it had frozen veggies in it. My husband got the salmon salad which he said was really good. I ordered the sweet potatoes, thinking that they would be fries and it said they were just diced up potatoes. They were good, but their menu doesn't allude to small diced up sweet potatoes. I've seen other people mentioned that in their reviews as well (didn't see it before we went). The place is beautiful inside with huge garage door walls. When you first enter, there is a really big menu that you have to look up at. Loved everyone's t-shirt/tanks that worked there. Everyone had their own style. But so many food options to pick to from! I went with the Kale chicken Caesar salad. I didn't really care for the cheese bites that they add to the sides. I'm not a fan of rice but you can choose mixed greens. We ordered as a group of 5. Personally I wasn't really happy with the rainbowl bowl. It had a lot of liquid in the bottom, tasted like half of it was frozen, and felt like I was eating a side salad. The teriyaki salmon however was a big hit and all 4 of the other people loved it. To start off the food was so good but also so healthy the bread on the breakfast sandwich that I got is their signature bread and it was so yummy!! Also not to mention the containers that the sandwich came in was super nice quality, and you can reuse it! I just ordered a breakfast sandwich but they added a fruit cup on the side, which was a great little bonus! The environment was super friendly and welcoming as well. Not very crowded or busy at all but I ordered online and I got there about 15 minutes early and they got my order to me a couple minutes later and I was on my way with my food way earlier than I thought I would've been picking it up! I was looking forward to trying a new place to get healthy food. Driving up to Fueled Kitchen it took me a minute to find it as it is off to the north a bit more than other stores in the area. There was enough parking close by so that was good. They have a good size menu, not too large to be overwhelming but enough of a variety. After I ordered, I saw lots of signs saying their food is made fresh and to order so expect a wait. I didn't realize it would take so long though so it was a bummer to have to wait so long when I was in a hurry. The restaurant is kept nice and clean and has a cool look to it. I got my food to go. I ordered the Green Goddess Bowl and actually did not like the chicken. The green goddess sauce was a bit too strong for my liking and the combination of balsamic vinegar was a little odd. My kids really liked their salmon and tacos. The black bean burger was just okay. A little mushy but pretty good flavor. The Buddha bowl had lots of veggies but I was disappointed that it didn't have a lot of flavor. There was a spice to it but no sauce which was disappointing. Overall it was just kind of plain. I'm not sure why it was called a Buddha bowl since it didn't have any Asian flavor (or any other for that matter). We wanted to try a berry acai bowl since i had one in Hawaii last year that was amazing (that had no protein powder in it), so I asked for it to be made without protein powder since I'm dairy free. They said that it wouldn't turn out without protein powder being in there, so I ordered it with vegan protein powder instead. It was really nasty and I couldn't even eat it unfortunately. It came with sweet potato bits (in lieu of fries) and to be honest, they were the real stars of the show. The fish tacos had a nice taste, but they were so incredibly wet they just dripped water when picked up. I mean, I'd prefer moist to dry, but this was not juicy with sauce, rather wet with clear water. The big surprise was the beverages. They have fun sodas, but I was about that juice. I thought it would be the cucumber lime stuff, but that fell flat. The watermelon juice though? Oh baby, I could drink that all day long!
