My partner-in-dine and I loved dining in the outdoor seating area while taking in the sublime mountain views. We've been to Pizzeria Mimosa twice and the service was impeccable both times. Their pet-friendly outdoor seating area made our dog feel very welcome. Our server even brought out a bowl of fresh water and numerous treats for him. He was a happy pup at Pizzeria Mimosa for sure. So far, we've tried the calamari, Lasagna al Forno, Casanova pizza, Eliseo pizza and Gnocchi alla Tirolese. The pizzas were the highlight of the whole experience. They were well-crafted and delicious. They were made with quality ingredients and love (in my humble opinion). The breaded calamari was crunchy and not rubbery. Come here with an empty stomach and an open mouth. The only regret you might have would be not having more room in your stomach. read more

THE place to go if you enjoy good food. As far as I'm aware Many if not all of their food is made from scratch. I find it shocking they don't have a better rating. It's literally the best place to go in town and best of sierra vista. Their Cesar salad is really good. The dressing they make is very unique and I love it! Their house salad is also very good. Their Pollo alla milanese is my favorite dish. It's is basically a VERY good lemon chicken. Gnocchi alla Tirolese is my favorite pasta, but be careful it's very rich and filling! Also don't be afraid to try their specials. I always read them because if it sounds good is probably is. read more

An oasis in a sea of chain restaurants. This nice place in the middle of nowhere has fairly good Italian food. We had pizza and panini for lunch and both were tasty. We sat outside that was dog and COVID friendly. All staff was wearing masks but not all customers. read more

It's not often that I can say a restaurant experience is absolutely amazing, but Mimosa definitely fits the bill. have you been here twice in two weeks. Once with a large group from work, and the second time alone. Both times I ordered the same thing and was virtually brought to tears both times by how fantastic the food tasted. The Caprice salad, as it's sometimes known, but known here at Mimosa only as Caprice is the best on the planet. I have never tasted a better mixture of pesto and fresh mozzarella cheese. The margarita pizza with double kalamata olives is to die for. And their house maid bread cannot be beat. seriously, you cannot find a better tasting bread anywhere. Services fast and friendly. The dining room is very nice. This restaurant is, hands down, the best restaurant in southeast Arizona. read more

Food is out of this world delicious and the kitchen has not problem modifying things as we requested for our salad. The servers are so kind and very friendly. The hosts do take a while to sit people, even if they have a reservation. The decor seems like it needs a little bit of an update, but the open kitchen is really neat. The wine list needs some work, they aren't able to get some of the wines on the list but they haven't updated it. And some of the staff isn't well educated on wine etiquette. read more

I didn't know this place existed until rather recently, and well... my husband and I have ordered every week since then! Mimosa has a beautiful space for parties and events, we've only ordered takeout so far and we are blown away by the quality. I love their side store in the front where you can buy pasta, sodas, Italian treats and much more. I'm always pleased by how fast we get our meals after placing our order. It's really unfortunate how close we live to this restaurant because now I always want it! The Dante pizza is my personal favorite. I love any of their pizzas so far. The food and service have been excellent every time we visit. The restaurant is beautiful inside, with beautiful Mountain View's, nice decor and a bay family friendly atmosphere! The menu is diverse, and the meals are always expertly prepared! Expect a slightly longer wait for meals, as all items are prepared fresh, on demand! Their dinner menu has a lot to offer, although my personal favorites are the eggplant Parmesan and Chicken Parmesan. Salads are always fresh and delicious. But don't forget the pizza! This is a pretty good pizza and Italian place just outside of town, nice and polished with friendly service. The pizza was good, maybe a bit doughy for me but plenty of flavor and toppings, and something for everyone on the menu. The wine list is good, certainly the best around Sierra Vista. read more

My Wife & I both had a calzone today. The crust on BOTH of them was raw on the inside. Wet raw. The sausage was ground so when you cut into it, the sausage rolled out. It was tough to eat because neither the crust nor the meat would stay on the fork!! It's been about 2 hours now and we are both experiencing belly pain. Never again! read more

The food was really good and the waitress was very nice! I got a marinara pizza with smoked ham, and it was good but I was expecting a little more substance to it. It was a little thin and plain. My dad was pleased with his burger and my mom liked her lasagna, so overall it was good and I would definitely go back, but next time I'll get something a little more filling and exciting. read more

This place has always been hit or miss on the food. Sometimes you get a nice pizza, other times it sucks. The seafood is trash. The shrimp is clearly frozen. The calamari is frozen and tiny. The mussels are overcooked. Good god, do they need me to show up and show these folks how to cook? Look at my "medium" filet. At least the staff is nice. read more

Went here for happy hour and surprised the food quality and taste improved drastically. We had the suppli (fried rice ball), spiedini (fontina cheese wrapped in prosciutto), meatballs, and lasagna. 3 stars for ambiance, their bread, and friendliness but this place is hit or miss for us. Our friends rant and rave about this place but it seems like everytime we go the food is either great or lacking. There is never a consistent experience (and I tend to order the same thing, which I dont know why). The ambiance is great for a date night, especially since there arent that many great date places near Sierra Vista. Its great for family gatherings but I do not recommend this venue for a party greater than 8. I was invited to a gatherong here and we had 20+ in our table. Needless to say, 2 hours later I finally got to eat. I wanted to order food but was told I had to wait til all drink orders were placed first. This kind of black and white mentality made it very inefficient to get meals out. Had they allowed some meal orders to get started (especially people with hangry kids) then the kitchen wouldnt have been so backed up once the 20+ placed their orders at once. We only had 1 waitress to take 20+ orders and the team just didnt seem cohesive enough to get things out quickly but atleast they were nice. Its like they werent ready/prepared. Anyhow, still worth a try and if not to eat dinner you can shop for some items in their little shop area near the entrance. read more

Great food, great service, decent prices. Our waiter actually made our three-year-old smile, which was amazing. He was also very attentive and helpful and helped make this a wonderful experience. My wine was excellent and my wife's mimosa flower brought an "oh hell yeah" from her. We had the momumento pizza, which was scrumptious and perfect. We had the nutella cheesecake for dessert, also amazing. I was very impressed. Our three-year-old had mac and cheese that she loved and a chocolate macaron that was very good. I know there are some bad reviews about the service, but we've been here four times so far and have always had a great experience. I think your attitude makes a big difference. :) read more

The good: Calamari was excellent, pizza was good. The bad: their signature cocktails have champagne that gives you a terrible headache the next day. The ugly: we arrived at 6:30pm for our reservation but didn't receive our food until almost 8:30pm. It was a Friday night and they were busy, but we were hungry. Went for birthday Margarita Pizza. Seems like they used old pizza dough as it didn't rise at all. Didn't put as much cheese as normal and came to our table cold as it sat on the counter for quite some time. Ordered what we thought was the chocolate cake with berries on the menu. They came out with a piece of chocolate cake that was supposedly made there. It was so dry we could not eat it plus it was covered in so much nuts and chips I guess that was to cover up how bad it was. Waiter said it was a day old, but more like three. The waiter blamed everything on covid. I really can't see how covid is the cause of bad service, poor quality food and food you cannot eat. read more

During the course of multiple visits the wife and I have tried different salads, pizzas, the lasagne and the bruschetta. Each food item was tasty and we have always been satisfied. However, there are a couple drawbacks. First, while the restaurant provides a nice atmosphere and the food is good, the prices are a little on the high side. The dining isn't quite as refined as the prices would suggest. Second, the service can be slow. On our most recent visit - after about 45 minutes - we watched as two groups who were seated after us received their meals before ours were delivered. When we bought it to the attention of the floor manager, a co-owner, she simply blamed it on the waiter and seemed irritated that we said anything at all. We have yet to return and I'm not so certain we ever will. read more

Service bad, food comes out cold, have to keep asking for bread to be dropped off, ordered the same thing as last time and was done completely different.
