    Pepperoni pizza

Pizza is amazing. Boneless chicken tenders not so much. Poor quality chicken. Friendly staff and cozy atmosphere. Very reasonable prices.

Came here for best pizza RI and it was so yummy! Their service here was exceptional, the selection rocked my socks off, and the pizza quality was great. I lived in Lincoln for a bit, and I don't know how I didn't have pizza from here until now. They were busy, but all customers seemed like regulars and everyone was in and out quickly. What a nice space, vibe and all around experience.

Outstanding food and service is fantastic. Dine on or carry out, this place is legit. The staff has a great work ethic, lots of hustle that you don't see that often these days. Nice dinning room for sit down meals.

Came out of the movies in Lincoln hungry tonight and wasn't in the mood to travel too far but was feeling the urge for pizza. Been trying to expose my son to different pizza joints and figured he'd enjoy theirs. I haven't been in here probably 2-3 years but thankfully their product hasn't changed. An offshoot of the Luciano's (Route 1 Wrentham) restaurant empire... they do, in my opinion, value putting out a consistently above average meal. Asked them to not sprinkle Parmesan cheese on the pizza when it comes out of the oven (they tend to do this) as I'm not a fan of Parmesan. Pepperoni was alright, but the mozzarella is stretchy and filling and I called it quits after just two slices. Nice crispy crust and just enough char on the bottom. Not that crowded either (thankfully!) at 7:00pm on a Saturday night, unlike the adjacent Trattoria which looked completely slammed. Peroni, bottle of soda, large pie $26 and going home with some leftover slices for next day. Didn't have room for dessert but they've got some great stuff in the case at counter

The front of the building is spectacularly inviting.

I normally order a large cheese pizza with mushrooms and ricotta cheese from Pizzeria Romana, which is my personal favorite. Everything about it to me is perfect--the stone fired crust, the amount of sauce and cheese, the seasoning, and the fact that this place is of the few pizzerias that offer ricotta cheese as a topping! The front of the building is spectacular, specially at night with the all the lighting effects and the giant lit sign. The little details of the exterior architecture and landscaping is impressive, as well. Very attractive for outdoor seating in the summertime! The service is not the warmest, but I just ignore it. The parking lot is usually crowded, but there's Additional parking on the side of the restaurant that people tend to miss.

This place came highly recommended. Small space with a couple of booths to sit. You order at the counter and they bring the food out to you. I do wish for the first time I tried a more simple/classic pizza but instead tried the special - white bbq chicken pizza. Very heavy on the bbq but overall pretty solid. Next time will certainly try a more classic type of pizza. They do also sell by the slice and sell beer and wine. I tried the sangria and it was good and decent size. Take out also available.

I am a pizza LOVER! Lover of pizza. Have a slight obsession with it. Probably why I workout 6 days a week...I'd be the guy on my half ton life. Seriously. Each pizza place that isn't fast food pizza or serving total trash, has a certain quality that makes them unique and special. That is what makes this establishment so delicious! You can get your standard straightforward pizza pie, or get some gnarly version of a pizza with toppings only a creative, pizza artist would think of! They are in a class all of their own. Not necessarily New York style not necessarily Rhode Island style not necessarily Italian style. I'm talkin the scene from a River Runs Through It, where Brad Pitt breaks out into his own flyfishing rhythm. They have found their rhythm, and it tastes phenomenal! Bon appetite!

I moved to RI and this was the closest pizza place to me, and it's hands down within the top 3 of my entire life. I order my own custom with fried eggplant, ricotta and basil and it's so good! I would also recommend their foccacia pizzas or rosemary chicken wings. When I go in person I also get a large wine glass full of champagne sangria! Would recommended!

We started with the Arancini and Cozze Marinara. The arancini were perfectly crisp with creamy risotto inside, and the marinara sauce was excellent. The mussels were fresh, plentiful, and served in a flavorful tomato garlic broth that was hard to stop dipping bread into. For entrees, we ordered the Bucatini Carbonara, Spaghetti Alla Vongole, and the Spaghetti Genovese with grilled chicken. Every pasta was cooked perfectly al dente, but the Carbonara was easily my favorite. Rich, creamy, and packed with flavor without feeling too heavy. The Vongole was fresh and simple, letting the clams shine, while the Genovese had a nice herbaceous pesto that paired well with the grilled chicken. Dessert was just as impressive. The crème brûlée had a perfectly caramelized top, and the Strawberries alla Romana was surprisingly one of my favorite desserts of the night. Fresh strawberries topped with an enormous serving of house-made whipped cream made for a light finish after all the pasta. Service was friendly throughout the meal and our server checked in regularly, although there were a few stretches where we waited a little longer than expected for drinks and dessert. Nothing that took away from the experience, but enough to keep it from being a perfect service score. The dining room has a classic old-school Italian feel that's comfortable and welcoming. It's not flashy, but that's part of the charm. You can tell this is a place people come back to for birthdays, anniversaries, and family dinners. Overall, I'd rate the food 5/5, service 4/5, and atmosphere 4/5. If you're looking for authentic Italian food in Rhode Island, Trattoria Romana is definitely worth the trip. I'll gladly make the drive back.

When the waiter/: bartender finally stopped by again he tried taking the shrimp also. It was kind of funny but we felt very rushed. I had the Veal Parmesan. Huge. Awesome as usual. Big demerit.I only eat half of the Veal ,it's so big.The new guy took the leftover veal, with the big bone still attached, and when he returned the boxed up veal , he had cut the bone off and it wasn't in the box. Didn't see that right away, but thats a huge bone with a bunch of meat still on it. So no one was supervising this kid. No proper server would ever do that. I love the decor, deli, and the bar. It's a nice addition but I feel as though it does make the restaurant a little cramped. I stopped in last night with my partner and my dad. We had Ryan for a waiter and I think he was spread a little too thin as I had seen him behind the bar the whole night. He was by no means rude and clearly busy but it definitely seemed as though he didn't check in as much as he could have. As for the food itself it's always been nice. Not stellar and by far not my favorite Italian places but serviceable. The prices are borderline reasonable to pricey, with my meal being $25. I would say $25 is a little steep for two pieces of chicken. However, the portions are gracious enough to leave you full but not bursting and the food always does taste fresh. My Chicken Sorrentino was good but I didn't get a lot of prosciutto which was disappointing. I'll keep coming here because it's close but if you want amazing Italian food try Federal Hill in Providence.

The price was fair for the amount of food you were given and the white wine sauce was very flavorful. I'd recommend this dish. What I wouldn't recommend is my partner's genovese. The dish had what looked like a quarter of a cup of oil at the bottom. I know it's pesto but no one realistically wants that much oil. Overall, did La Familia blow me away? It has almost a cult-like following after reading the reviews. In my experience, everything I have ordered was okay ... but nothing incredibly amazing vs. the price. I have not seen higher menu prices outside of Manhattan. Two sandwiches and one beer came to $78 after the tip. You read that correctly ... a burger with fries, a pulled pork sandwich with side salad and the cheapest draft beer on the menu ... $78!!! The wings/tenders were over $20 ... in fact, other than the side upgrades, nothing on the menu was under $20. If you are charging $25 for a 'diner burger' and fries, it better be an amazing burger. Mine was no better than Five Guys and less tasty than a Shake Shack. Given the prices, one wouldn't expect that you'd get potato chips with your burger. In order to get French fries ... it's a $5 upcharge. A side salad is $9. I don't mind paying more for quality ... and Blackie's quality is probably high as their meats, vegetables, potatoes, etc. all list the origin place. However high the quality is, for me anyways, the food doesn't seem much different taste-wise, than anywhere else that is much less expensive. Having said that, the portions are huge. The nachos look like they are meant for an entire table and everything is served on metal cafeteria-style trays. Good for them though because the place is huge and always packed. The crowd here is very typical 'Rhode Island'. Expect to see a lot of anchor tattoos, lifted Jeeps with no doors in the parking lot, young 20 - 40 year old crowd who probably played high school football or baseball back in the day and still enjoy telling stories about it. There are no shortage of cross-fitters here. There is a nice buzz of conversation and energy ... but this is not the place you want to go if you don't like crowds. Inside is weird. The walls are painted black and the chairs/tables look like something in a boutique hotel. It looks a little more like a corporate hotel lobby or wedding function hall vs. a restaurant ... especially given the typical crowd. This is not the sports bar it appears to be on the outside. Overall, my 3-stars may seem harsh. But that's an average score ... and honestly, my food has always been average. Maybe I need to try the pizza. If you have deep pockets and like huge portions, you probably won't be disappointed in this place. The service is great, although 2 people working a packed bar, you will wait a bit if you need anything. Also, I came to watch the big game and for some reason they hung pendant lights which dangle down from around the bar. While they make everyone look better, the TVs are blocked by the lights. Very odd.

My family owned a well-known restaurant in Providence RI for years called Alfredo's. So we came here last night, Saturday on the recommendation from someone my mother knows. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted at the door by the maitre'd. We felt welcomed. We were then seated at a table in the main dining room. It was clean and classy. We had a wonderful waiter named Velat. He was very courteous, professional and knowledgeable. He was also very attentive. He gave us world-class service because he cleared plates and made sure that the bread and the water was filled and removed old silverware and replaced them. We had an eggplant appetizer along with stuffed mushrooms. I also had a Caprice mozzarella salad that I shared with a friend of mine. Then came the salads, they were delicious, cold and fresh. I liked that the blue cheese dressing was homemade and you could tell by the taste. I had the chicken parmesan with ziti. The food was excellent. The chicken was very tender. When we were finished with dinner he brought the dessert tray with many of the desserts made in-house. Although we didn't get the dessert because we were going home to a birthday party. It was nice to see that they made an attempt to show us what they had. Upselling is important and expected in the restaurant business. Thank you for the amazing dinner and experience.
