Ordered both west coast and east coast oysters and they both have their own flavors and I couldn't pick which one is better. I like them both. Also got their secret menu item, baked oysters, come with two flavors, scampi and Cajun, scampi has cheese on top and Cajun is just perfect, if I have to pick one, Cajun would be one. Also ordered calamari basket from lunch menu and portion was a bit small for my opinion. Lunch size crab pan roast is another good value item, it tasted towards Cajun flavors instead of buttery pan roast style from well known pan roast from one of the casino's oyster bar. I picked spice level of 7 and it was perfect, flavorful and kick of chilies. Service was ok. The server got our orders wrong but she made it on the house but later I found out she mistakenly charged extra for other dishes. I believe it was honest mistake and part of my fault for not paying attention. It could have been a higher rating if I didn't have to deal with all that. Plus the restaurant wasn't busy at all. There were only three tables including mine.
PK Oyster Bar is located in the old New Orleans Square. It's a bit off the beaten path, but there's plenty of convenient parking. We decided to try it for two reasons: we wanted to avoid the long wait at Palace Station Oyster Bar, and our 14-year-old was excited to try pan roast for the first time and loves raw oysters. When we arrived, the restaurant was nearly empty, with only one couple seated by the window. We didn't let that discourage us from giving it a try. The restaurant appeared to be a true mom-and-pop operation, staffed by one cook, one kitchen helper, and a waitress who also greeted and seated guests. The waitress was friendly, attentive, and provided prompt service. We were quickly seated, given water, and handed menus. The décor is simple and unpretentious, creating a casual neighborhood feel. We ordered two Seafood Combo Pan Roasts, Linguine with Clams, a half dozen raw oysters, and an extra order of rice to soak up the pan roast sauce. The Seafood Pan Roast was disappointing. Instead of the rich, seafood creamy savory that makes this dish so satisfying, it leaned heavily on tomato sauce. The consistency was quite soupy, with only small pieces of seafood scattered throughout. The Linguine with Clams had a strong briny flavor but lacked the garlic, butter, and savory seasoning we were expecting. There was also very little clam meat, making the dish feel underwhelming. Overall, the service was warm and welcoming, but unfortunately the food didn't quite live up to our expectations. Based on the many positive reviews, I have a feeling we may have visited on an off day. We truly appreciated the attentive service and the convenience of easy parking, so we'd be open to giving PK Oyster Bar another try in the future.
How is this place not packed? Inside the commercial center is a true hidden gem! I would never think this place existed, such a chill vibe inside with music playing, the decor is welcoming the staff so attentive. The food though!!! Indescribable, the gumbo was better than I had in Louisiana, the Voodoo Pasta Voodoo'd all of us at the table out of this world then came the pan roast, now what the heck is this magic soup/stew whatever dish. The PAN ROAST! Was so amazing I wanted to gate keep this place but it's out there already.

The server brought out a vast variety of different brands of hot sauce for us to try. I love the pan roast combo. The sauce was thick and flavorful with a good amount of protein and seafood. My partner ordered the jambalaya with rice, which I thought was just okay. There was too much rice and barely any protein and seafood. Definitely better than the extended wait times at the Oyster bars on the strip. I will visit again during my next Vegas trip.

I had heard of PK Oyster Bar from a friend and that the Chef actually came from the Oyster Bar. A bunch of us flew in to Vegas and I had made reservations ahead of time for a Friday night. The restaurant décor was pretty cute and I was surprised this place wasn't packed. Our server was Alex and he really attentive and explained all the questions about the menu. Our table ordered Gumbo, Pan Roast, Jambalaya and I seen that they had a Bouillabaisse-Pan Roast (which is one of the most popular items). I ordered my younger kids the fried shrimp & fried calamari basket with fries. The food came out pretty quick. Bouillabaisse-Pan Roast was a level 5. It wasn't too hot and there was a lot of flavors. There were pieces of crab, clams, shrimp and mussels. This dish was definitely a 10/10! Everyone really enjoyed their meals and said we'd definitely return again.
Came here for brunch, right when they open around 10/10:15. To start off, service was great, very attentive easy to call out if needed & our server was great. Very casual, chill place. So dress attire is casual, good for groups too. We decided to go there because oyster bar in palace station is way too crowded. The quality is okay, I'd give it a 6.5-7/10. I like my pan roast more on the creamier side.

Peel & Eat shrimp was not the business. Looked more like a soup with frozen (already peeled) shrimp. A bit disappointing, confirmed with the server that it was actually what they served as 'peel and eat' shrimp. Now coming from the 'oyster bar' at another station casino (which the known owner previously worked at). It was a bit of a disappointing sight to see. Think I'll stick with the oyster bars @ stations. Left hungry and disappointed. Would not recommend unless you have time to kill and happen to be in the area.

The parking lot and location is super sketchy looking and the my had a couple of secure guys outside Inside was nice and we were the first customers. Because they don't have a liquor license yet, they allow you to BYOB. The others in my group went next door to the liquor store and bought drinks while waiting for the food. Food was good. It was all cooked fresh. My pan roast is not as good as Palace Station but worth it since no wait and the flavor is there. I only wish it had better seafood in it. I really only tasted some small pieces of crab and a couple of shrimp. Server seemed very new and unsure but she was nice. They made the fried okra off menu for us and it was very addictive.
Went at 7 on a Sunday for dinner. Was seated immediately as no one else was in the restaurant. Ordered oysters, a Caesar salad, and seafood combo pan roast. The oysters were juicy and didn't have a fishy smell. The Caesar salad was a great portion size, if you add meat it would definitely be enough as a dinner portion. The pan roast was also a huge portion and had plenty of seafood that made for great leftovers, ordered a spice level 6 and it was perfect. Wanted to cap it off with dessert so ordered an apple turnover with ice cream. Unfortunately the apple turnover was still frozen, server kindly removed it from my bill. I might not order dessert, but will definitely come back for the food.
I love coming here for takeout and dine-in! It's a great alternative to waiting in long lines at the oyster bars in the casinos. They also run great weekday specials and happy hour deals. I've tried the pan roast, gumbo, and the étouffée, and all of them were fantastic. The service has always been courteous, and there's plenty of parking, which is a big plus. If you're in the area, definitely stop by. This spot feels like one of those local Las Vegas secrets!

This location is off of the strip, which is a good thing to avoid expensive property prices. This location looks very obscure from the outside and was very intimidating to walk in. But once you walk in, it turns into a different location, like a real restaurant. We ordered several dishes The combo pan roast Rich, thick and flavorful. Comes with rice and if you want to add a dinner roll, it is an additional 50 cents for 1 dinner roll. Come on... The PK bouill-pan This comes with seafood in the pan roast. It isn't as thick as the original pan, but the flavor is still great. Is it comparable to the other popular place? Yes, and it is definitely a must try. We also ordered the steamed mussels. What i did wish was for the establishment to pay particular attention to the mussels. I had to remove debris from mine and another mussel had a small crab. Great service, very clean on the inside, odd on the outside with a scary entrance, but come on in.

This place has such good service and the best $1 oysters ever bc they are so big and so tasty! There's a two dozen limit but they're so big it's super filling and I would come back here just for the oysters. I got the gumbo and it wasn't anything special but it's a big portion which I liked. There's lots of parking outside and indoor seating. read more

What a nice little spot for oysters! Came during their daily happy hour from 1-4 and got a dozen oysters. They were amazing, super fresh. They came with cocktail sauce, horseradish, lemon slices, and various hot sauces. We also got the VooDoo pasta which was fabulous! Just the perfect amount of spice, the Cajun flavor really shines through. The portion was very large and great to split with someone. The clam chowder was also a hit! The only thing that could have been better would be the drink selection. They don't sell alcohol, which is okay but there also aren't any fountain drinks. They do have canned sodas available. With how amazing everything else was I was surprised they didn't have better drink options. Other than that, we had a fantastic visit. We had happy hour quick bite of New England clam chowder, shrimp po boy, shrimp cocktail and fried calamari and all of them tasted great. Came in after 1pm and only a few people were there. I..... Well... Ok here we go...they deserve the 5 star but...and forgive me for taking it away because this reason...location location....location!!! Let's say everything was great the food the service by Alex was spot on. Yes of course we had his full attention because we were one of 3 tables. Not taking anything away from Alex super attention. Now the food...the oysters could have been presented better. It was in a tin pan with little cube ice melting into oysters. This could be fixed take a drive to Legends on westside. They have the best selection in oysters. Kumies are the best and wouldn't mind paying extra for them...also thier Pan roast is ok... Also why not expand the menu to bring Nolans to Vegas...bring in Charbroiled oysters!!! Ok what else...fried oysters I'll pass Cesar salad Ok fried platter was good...now the one thing I did enjoy and I didn't have to wait 2 hours plus to get it at Palace station the famous The Pan Roast OMG!!!! Ok before I go too far yes very very good but still not OG. But would I come back for this one platter... HELL YEAH!!! Now back to location...unfortunately Yes this part of town is super sketch...and i believe you guys would thrive in a better part of town. Came here on a Wednesday night around 5 p.m. for dinner after getting a referral from a friend. We had reservations, but they ended up not being necessary--we were seated immediately since it was a slow night. Overall ambience inside the restaurant is nice, but outside parking was a bit too dim. We noticed they had a great Wednesday deal: $1.50 oysters. Unfortunately, they weren't ready when we first tried to order them. Our waitress let us know that someone had gone out to get more, but she wasn't sure how long it would take. I really appreciated the upfront honesty, so we were able to overlook it. For food, we ordered a few appetizers, fries, New England clam chowder, and shared the chicken and sausage gumbo. Everything was delicious, and the portions were very generous. By the time we finished, the oysters had finally arrived! Sadly, we were already too full to try them. Hopefully next time we can give them a go. Overall, great experience, and shout out to our waitress--she was super nice and friendly. We'd definitely come back! read more

Found this on the InKind app and then read these reviews and thought we'd give it a try. The chicken and sausage gumbo was delicious and slightly too spicy for me at a 3 so if you want mild definitely go 0-3 on the spice rating. The portion was huge and I'll have leftovers for two more meals if I add my own rice later. My friend got the chicken po boy and enjoyed it also. The bread was crusty and true to NOLA standards. I was impressed it came with hush puppies, which were good to dip in my gumbo sauce. Alex was a wonderful waiter! Some good small talk chatting about NOLA, Sedona, sushi along the meal process. Amazing Amazing if you wanna cut they line at they famous Ouster Bar from palace station this is they place hands down so so delicious right off they strip so you won't be disappointed I promise they have some delicious I mean delicious pan roast n clam chowder so so good and beast of all they have HAPPY HOUR Starting from 2pm so come down and check them out please do and let me know how it was for you they are open 7 days a week open at 12pm just in time for lunch like yess super friendly staff and owner she is so sweet great family option and lots of great dishes to try and some delicious secret menu option there chicken lumpia omg so good so if you are looking for a good spot and great prices big portions come down and check them out. Pk oyster bar!! I stopped going to the oyster bar at palace station because the food here is so close . With no wait. Kids allowed. Tuesday bogo. Plenty of parking . The food . Clam chowder here is very good . Taste very fresh and similar to other oyster bars Pan roast . Solid. Not 100 percent like oyster bar maybe 8 out of 10 but definitely hits the spot. Extra spicy and add lava sauce on the side. Excellent Bbq peel shrimp is unique and good also Caesar salad was actually pretty good. Chicken cooked very well. Service is excellent. Food was amazing! Happy hour everyday from 2p-4p. We had the pan roast combo, calamari fri basket and New England claim chowder. Everything was delicious and great portions. Our server was kind friendly and attentive. I also enjoyed the ambiance lighting. Also they do not serve alcohol here but you ca bring your own and they do not charge corkage fees we love that !!! It was our first time here. When we walked in and saw no one else, we were a bit worried about whether the food would be good. But we decided to stay and give it a try anyway. I'm a huge oyster lover, and wow -- the food totally surprised us! The oysters were amazing -- super fresh and sweet! You have to order extra! When we tried to get another round, they were already sold out! Oh my gosh, I regret not ordering two portions right away. This is something worth trying and there are daily specials! I love that! I also love that there isn't a crowd or a lot of people bc it's a hidden gem tucked away with restaurants diverse and ethnic selection of restaurants all in this strip mall. Quite unique to find of its own! I enjoy the oysters and they are huge! I need to come back to try their pan roast on Tuesdays! This establishment has potential, but not a whole lot of people know about it so it can be slow and peaceful. Glad I did searching on Yelp, but not easy to find. Surprised to find that it's near my work but many are surprised to find it on the east side-- not the best side where it's located from what many have stated, but it's up and coming. The pan roast is like the oyster bar in Palace Station, but I have yet to try and compare. Until next time! read more

Came here for late night dinner with my husband and left really stuffed with plenty of leftovers. When we arrived, there were 3 other tables but was told there's a 10-15 min wait because the kitchen needed to catch up (not sure if we just missed the rush). Anyway, we were seated before 10 mins. [Voodo Pasta] Didn't realize this was 2lbs haha - so much food! Pasta was cooked well and sauce was very rich. Chicken was tender and delicious. [New England Clam Chowder] We got the last order and it sure tasted like the last bit...as if it's been sitting there forever. It wasn't terrible but I'm sure it tastes better when it's fresh. It was nice to actually taste clam meat since some places skimp on it. There was also a strong herb taste to it...not necessarily a bad thing but also not what we're used to for this style of clam chowder. [Pan Roast PK Combo] Such a huge serving - definitely order for sharing! This was definitely tasty but it's very heavy because there's a lot of cream in it. I believe PK Oyster Bar is better than Palace Station's Oyster Bar. Less waiting and more eating + gorgeous decor and more intimate setting. Syd took care of us and did a great job. Thank you Syd. I had to try the clam chowder and it was great. Lots of potatoes but I did enjoy every bite. The PK combo pan roast was 5 by itself. Lots of shrimp, crab, lobster, chicken and andouille sausage. Might be more than Palace Station but you can be the judge of that. I got a spice level 7 and I could probably do a 9-10. It wasn't spicy at all to me. We all enjoyed it. We are definitely coming back! read more

Do they serve a bread basket and if so how is the bread? Is it great like at the Station's?
You get the dinner roll with butter like you to at Stations. I don't recall it being a bread basket at either but the dinner rolls are pretty good.
How long is the wait usually? Do you guys take reservations?
