Shrimp crab and lobster pan roast rice on the side.
    Ashley M.

Made the trek out to the Santa Fe station because I was craving the famous oyster pan roast but didn't want to wait 2+ hours at the palace station. Went around 130 on a Friday and there was plenty of seating. We ordered 1dozen oysters, the shrimp crab and lobster pan roast an extra side of rice and side of pasta. The oysters were huge but not super flavorful as the ones we have had before at the other location. The pan roast was just as amazing though I wish there was a bit more lobster. I think I would stick with the shrimp crab chicken and sausage pan roast next time. We got it mild and it didn't have a kick at all. Overall it was definitely worth the drive out. If you have kids with you, you can actually take them because there are tables.

    Santa Fe Pan Roast

I was craving a pan roast but didn't want to wait in line at Palace Station so we came here instead. The Santa Fe Pan Roast has crab, shrimp, chicken, and andouille sausage. It was good but still not as tasty as the version we get at the other casino. It's nice not to have to wait at the other location but it's obvious why they have the wait to begin with. This location is much bigger but the pan roasts aren't as flavorful. Still a good option for something that comes close without the wait. Service was fast and friendly and our waters were refilled before they ever got to the bottom.

I had a great experience at the Oyster Bar inside Santa Fe Hotel & Casino. The server was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure everything was just right from start to finish. You can tell they genuinely care about the guest experience. The oysters were big, juicy, and packed with amazing flavor. Definitely fresh and well worth ordering. The little neck clams were just as impressive, especially paired with the sourdough bread. That combination alone is enough to bring me back. My only downside was the $18.99 shrimp cocktail. It felt a bit steep for the size of the shrimp. If they were large prawns, I could understand the price more. Overall, the food was very good, and I especially appreciate that this location offers a true restaurant-style setup with actual tables. No standing in line for hours, which makes the experience much more relaxed and enjoyable. I'll definitely be back.

Everyone in Vegas has their favorite, goto oyster bar and honestly, there's always room for another great one. With so many options around town, each one brings something special. The Oyster Bar inside Santa Fe Casino definitely delivered on every point. My wife and I stopped in for dinner before movie night, and I walked in with a hangry wife (you know the mood ). Let me tell you... mission accomplished. By the time we left, she was happy, full, and already talking about enjoying her leftovers for breakfast the next day. The food was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Portions were solid, service was friendly, and the wait was well worth it. Everything came out hot and tasted amazing.

OMG rush here! Don't stand in line and wait for a table at the Fremont Street location. This location is a snap to get in. Enjoyed the clam chowder and fresh oysters! The staff was absolutely friendly and efficient

The place is nice! The service was good. We love Santa Fe and couldn't believe we still haven't tried this place yet. My husband got the fish and chips and he said it was very greasy and couldn't really eat it. The fries were good though. I got the oysters on the half shell and they were huge! They give you a caddy with all the different topping options and crackers and then it comes with cocktail sauce and horseradish. Those were delicious! No grit at all. I also had to try the New England clam chowder. That was also delicious! Highly recommend! The cucumber martini was not the best bc it was not chilled very well. Almost as of the glass came out of the steamer and still hot when they poured the drink in it. But overall, it was a good experience. I would definitely go back!

Bouillabaisse (their version is basically same as cioppino with more fish and 1 small lobster leg, for $5 more)
    Truman W.

4 stars for the bouillabaisse ($35). It tasted exactly like the cioppino that my friend ordered. I guess the only difference to justify the $5 upcharge is the extra fish and 1 small lobster leg... you won't find the fennel and saffron in the classic French bouillabaisse. Next time I will just get the cioppino and save $5. All the seafood tasted very fresh. A large bowl like this in L.A. would easily cost $50. They also have étouffée, gumbo, pan roast but those are thick stews with heavy flour and butter -- not for me. Santa Fe Station is mostly unknown to tourists, so their Oyster Bar is rarely crowded like the more famous Palace Station. This is one of Vegas' best kept foodie secrets.

oysters (blue points) on the half shell

We had a decent comp today and rather than going to the charcoal room, we decided the oyster bar sounded good since we hadn't been there in awhile. We were seated right away and Shauna was our server. We ordered a dozen blue point oysters... not bad, but really kind of small. But tastier (at least to me ) rather than the standard gulf oysters which may be neater, but don't have the briny taste of east coast oysters. We ordered the $1.99 bread basket (a small baguette sliced) to me that is something that I feel should be included with the meal, but I get the fact that it adds to their food cost, but still..... Entrees.... I had the linguine and clams (white) and my dining companion had shrimp scampi. Both decent size servings of pasta, mine had four little cherry stones as a garnish and a decent amount of chopped clams. The pasta was al dente and there was plenty of broth, but sadly we didn't hang bread left since the small sliced baguette didn't last long. My dining companions scampi was decent, fairly large shrimp and a decent amount of pasta. All in all, pretty good, very good server helped with our thoughts about the meal. A negative to me is the fact that the oyster bar does not do a military discount.

New England or Manhattan Clam Chowder
    Row P.

Oyster Bar inside the Santa Fe Station Hotel and Casino is a pretty legit spot for seafood, salad, New England or Manhattan Clam Chowder, cocktails, beer, wine and drinks. I like the bar seating and table seating that is available. Atmosphere is nice. It is my second time here and for my Fiancé many. I have to say it was another enjoyable dining experience. Ana was great! Also the Chefs on duty were great they were active on the floor, at the bar seating area, helping the staff and friendly with the guests. My absolute fave is their Pan Roast. I really like that I can choose the chicken and andouille sausage only Pan Roast with steamed rice. The Pan Roast was made perfectly the stew was rich and creamy. When we mentioned we were sharing the Pan Roast it was served in two separate bowls which was awesome. We also had a cup of New England clam chowder, fish and chips, calamari and a bread basket. The sauce caddy had a good selection of hot sauces, etc. We liked everything we ordered. So good!

    White Sangria

I'll start this off by saying maybe I just went on a bad day. I have heard nothing but good things about the oyster bar for years. My grandmother , who is a huge gumbo fan stated they had the best in the city. When I tried it, I was not impressed. It actually tasted more like curry than gumbo. My spice level was a 5 but tasted more like an 8 to me, I could barely get through it. The oysters were delicious and very fresh. The sangria was light and fresh as well. The server was very nice and the atmosphere was good considering it is in the middle of a casino. I will definitely be back to give them another chance at the gumbo.

Had dinner here and weren't impressed with the Jumbo Shrimp platter since the batter on shrimp was thick and greasy, and we ended up discarding the batter. The Clam Linguine we ordered on the otherhand was very good and loaded with clam pieces. Of course, the warm sour dough bread was also great (please note bread is not complimentary and is an item you have to order on the side). The service was a little disappointing since our server was not very personable and a bit impatient. She also forgot to bring me a tea refill at end but brought the check instead. Overall, we didn't think the price was worth it and our experience was just ok.

So far I've been to the Oyster Bar inside the Palace Station (2.5 hr wait), Red Rock, Durango and now Sante Fe. Ambience wise-Durango, and Red Rock hands-down. Classier, newer and cleaner looking casinos. As far as the service and quality of the food, ALL of the locations have really great customer service. Just super friendly people. It makes you think that they get paid well because they seem like they like their jobs. The Pan Roast tastes the same at every location, DELICIOUS! I get the one with crab, shrimp and lobster. The End. Enjoy!

    Kumamoto oysters (6)
    Jasmine D.

Had lunch here yesterday. There was no wait at all and the restaurant was fairly empty. Service was good and our food came out quickly. We shared half a dozen Kumamoto oysters ($24.99); and I opted for the combo pan roast, which had shrimp, chunks of crab and lobster. I chose spice level 7 (10 being the most spicy) and it had just the right amount of heat; portion was huge and definitely perfect for sharing.

Ask the Community - The Oyster Bar

Do they have an oyster happy hour?

    Can you make reservations?

Is this affiliated with the famous oyster bar in palace station casino?

Two Oyster Bars are located in Stations Casinos. The third one listed is in the Hard Rock hotel but I would believe they are all related.

The carnitas tacos were not good because they had way too much salt. I had them sent back and replaced with chicken wings (buffalo). These were fried in beef tallow, another plus. The wings were really good and I would definitely order them again. The wings came with fries and they too were good. Fries were cooked perfectly, slight crisp crunch and fluffy inside. The waitress apologized for the salty tacos and took them off my bill, which I appreciated. I will be returning to try other items and will update as necessary.

My friend Dana said, "Hey, there's a local restaurant near me that I go to all the time... and…read morethey're having a FREE BBQ Saturday night!" Free BBQ?!? It didn't take much to twist my husband's arm... though we weren't 100% that this would be anything much... because, as my husband said, "Nothing's free... and what do they get out of it? and how are they doing this... in this economy?" We arrived promptly at 4PM, because we knew it was "first come first served"... they had a DJ and a TON of games, raffles, free alcoholic beverages, swag (tshirts, beer cozies, pins, stickers, custom-designed etched wine glasses), various stations of fun activities... and... the entire restaurant was part of this... So of course we sat our party of 5 at a table in the main restaurant section... and proceeded to... order full meals and drinks from the menu. Listen, the prices are RIGHT, the food looked incredible, and technically they weren't going to serve the BBQ until 5:30... so... we figured we'd have an hour and a half to digest. I ordered a salad though... because I was dead set on some ribs or pulled pork or something... BBQ-y. My husband ordered the BLT with tater tots, and others in our party ordered sandwiches, fried raviolis, among other items like martinis, lemonade. Our waitress was so attentive and darling, really took care of us the entire time. At 5:30 the BBQ happened. Myself and one other from our party were ready, whilst everyone else had already had their fill with the menu items. But boy did they regret the fact that there was no more room in their bellies... because the BBQ spread was INCREDIBLE: A full salad with all the fixings, RIBS (!!), hamburgers (full size, wonderful patties!), hot dogs (delicious!), chili, mac'n'cheese, watermelon... my goodness it was an immense spread. And all was cooked superbly! And again, plenty of free alcohol as well. As I spoke to the other locals around the BBQ, I kept hearing exactly what my friend Dana said, "We live 5 minutes away... we come here ALL the time... we LOVE this place!" The vibe was COMMUNITY-CENTERED... it was obvious... and as the raffle winners were called, the entire place exploded into claps and whistles as each of the winners' names were called. Golden Knights jerseys, golf caddies, backpacks... it was all soo lovely, but those prizes were just icing on the cake... a "cake" consisting of a true LOCAL restaurant and it's COMMUNITY... each expressing their support for each other. My husband and I were floored. And humbled to see the entire event play out.... something you don't see enough of anymore. May Summit Tavern continue to enjoy their success in the neighborhood, and may other establishments learn from Summit Tavern's success! And THANK YOU... for a wonderful evening, Summit Tavern staff and all who made the night truly special.

Plenty of cheese, a nice crust and it was a good size. Glad I got it. My wife liked her pretzels, noting that they seemed fried instead of baked. She likes baked better but these were not bad. They come with cheese and honey mustard. My main meal was the tacos. I ordered 2 beef and 1 chicken as they come in 3. Inside the taco is your selected meat, cheese, lettuce and salsa on the side. I preferred the beef tacos over the chicken. The beef was very tender and flavorful. The chicken was shredded and a bit dry. My wife ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and she said it was very good. Her chicken was tender and juicy. She said she would order it again. This place has Coca-Cola products which I appreciate. They even have Coke Zero! We do plan on returning and trying other menu items. The atmosphere is rustic themed. The place is non smoking which is another big plus. The restrooms were very clean and the service was great.
