I've frequented this restaurant for years, and it never disappoints. I've never left a review, and I think that every time I visit, I'm fully immersed in the food and ambiance. I forget to take photos of everything. It's cozy, everyone on staff is friendly, and the food is always fantastic. It feels like a getaway. Most recently, we've been trying their happy hour sushi bar and it's always fresh and the menu options are quite varied. Some all time favorites are the kimchi fried rice, their sashimi, and the oysters. You can't go wrong with these. We've tried their course menu before and it was delicious. They have changed the entrees menu a bit over the years, but we have yet to order something we don't like. We are big fans of their sushi bar so that's usually our go-to. This is by far our favorite spot for high quality sushi, but also a lovely place for a nice sit down dinner on special occasions. We always make a reservation when trying to get a table in their main dining area, as I've seen it get pretty busy. Happy hour time gives more leeway to be spontaneous. Simply an incredible place. I cannot recommend it enough.

The best culinary experience I've had in Las Vegas! Hole in the wall spot serving some of the best food in LV! Allen is great people and service is second to none! He asked what we wanted then asked if we trusted him and said yes and let him drive from there. We started off with half salmon half tuna crispy rice.oysters, oyster shooters that were in this sauce that I could drink all day! Some of the best oysters I've had in Las Vegas and the salmon and tuna were on point! We then got the amberjack that was spectacular! Then got the fried lobster WoW! The batter was so light and crispy and flavorful and the lobster was perfect and the sauce was perfect The octopus was delicious in that orange cashew sauce with broccoli and potatoes. Jesus take the wheel! Then we got otoro, tuna and salmon belly nigiri! Just wow fat pieces of sushi and so fresh. Then got 2 rolls but I forgot the names lol Then as a dessert we got the Caviar w/lebneh on French toast! Fantastic and his version of a Sunday that was fantastic with brownie We also gave us some sake that was some of the best I've ever had! Check photos. Then asked us what we like to drink and make some tequila Saturns and some of the best drinks I've had in LV. The miso cod was so tasty and light I was shocked! The bbq oysters we so damn good too. Next time we trying the crab cakes and steak and Japanese chicken His menu is out of bounds! Everything is outstanding!! Not enough great things to say definitely going to be my and my ladies new date night spot going forward!!

Such a nice local secret! Independent restaurant. Lots of menu items. A sushi bar where you can sit. Full bar. Beer on tap and bottled beers. Excellent sashimi/sushi options. Friendly staff and servers. Knowledgeable staff on sashimi. Fresh wasabi! Dessert options. Sufficient parking. Nice atmosphere. Clean restrooms.

First time here, and so happens it is Restaurant Week 2026 and glad we finally have the chance to enjoy an amazing restaurant! What can I say, great menu, great food, and most of all, great service! Such a cool vibe to have Chef Allen serve us, explaining how everything is prepared and cooked was a pleasure in itself, thanks for the personable chats, we enjoyed it! The drinks were delicious, and we trusted his own personal taste to compliment the meal. along with their daily food specials makes us wanna come back tomorrow. . Thank you Allen for making it a memorable dining experience!

This place is insanely good. Everything we ordered was perfect. It's a really nice place to go to for a special occasion. Service is great. I don't think I've ever had a better ice cream than the miso honey. I wish you could buy it by the gallon. I wish I could eat here everyday

Had a great time at Other Mama! Enjoyed their happy hour in a nice, quiet ambiance that made it easy to relax. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and it's easy to see why this spot is a local favorite. Walk-in friendly with great food all around -- definitely worth a visit.

This was my second time at Other Mama. The first time was years ago because so many of my friends loved it. I decided to try again as they were on Restaurant Week. First, I will say that the interior has changed quite a bit which is a huge positive. They have upgraded the restaurant and it's got a much cooler vibe than it did years ago. There is a main dining room and a separate bar area that also has table. We sat in the bar area and they had the game and fight playing but it didn't feel like a sports bar, honestly gave the vibe a nice casual first date spot. Second, the service was great. The servers explained all the dishes and were very accommodating to all of our allergies and food restrictions. They explain everything to make sure it matched what we needed. The courses were a little slow but it was to be expected with the restaurant week demand. Now for the food, the first course was oyster, tuna tostada, and shrimp ceviche. My wife loved the tuna tostada with the pickled onions because it gave a sweetness to the dish. Funny enough, that's what I disliked about it. I found the shrimp ceviche to be a bit flavorless and tough. The oysters were GREAT. Second course was the Japanese fried chicken & Caviar Aioli. This was pretty good but not nearly one of the better karaage dishes that I've had in the past. The seared ocean trouts carpaccio was the second choice and it was perfect. The flavors were bright, clean, and delicious! The third course was the nigiri set and all the sushi was fresh and good. Fourth course was grilled wagyu steak and miso black marinated cod. The wagyu steak was a bit tough for Wagyu but it was cooked well. I didn't love the hollandaise sauce on its the miso black marinated cod was also cooked perfected with a crispy skin. But as most miso black cod, it was very one note and super rich in flavor. Overall, the food for me all seems a bit sweeter than what I personally prefer. I wish I could give this place a 3.5 star rather than a 3 but for me it's definitely closer to a 3 than 4.

Other Mama Recipt: Got there at 7:30 pm - left at 9:08 pm!! HUNGRY!

I made a 7:30 PM Valentine's reservation at Other Mama after a colleague recommended it. We drove 17 minutes expecting a special evening. HUGE mistake! We arrived on time. Despite having a reservation, we stood there awkwardly until someone suggested we sit at the bar. No warmth. No apology. Just "you can sit there." We ordered immediately: * 1/2 dozen oysters * Sashimi: chutoro, salmon belly, yellowtail belly, amberjack, uni * Cucumber salad * Caviar French toast * Ocean trout carpaccio * "Lover's Club" cocktail * Asahi zero alcohol * Fresh wasabi and Pellegrino Drinks and cucumber salad arrived. Oysters followed Shortly after. And then... nothing. We waited. And waited. And waited. For almost one full hour. No updates. No apology. No "your order is coming." Just us sitting there starving while watching plates fly out to other guests. At 8:50 PM, I finally asked them to cancel the rest of our order and bring the check. That's how long we had been ignored. Magically, after asking to cancel, the sashimi plate appeared. Missing the amberjack. And the portions? The salmon belly and uni were embarrassingly small. I genuinely regret not taking a photo -- the size of these 2 was honestly shocking for what they charge. By that point we were extremely hungry, so we ate what was placed in front of us and again asked to cancel the remaining food. When the bill arrived, it still included items we never received -- including the missing amberjack. We had to ask them to remove charges for food that never arrived. On Valentine's night!! With only two sushi chefs working the bar, shameful to say the least. If you cannot handle reservations on the busiest night of the year, do not book them. Be honest. Tell guests you're overwhelmed. Don't trap people into waiting an hour in silence while their special night falls apart. We left still hungry and incredibly disappointed. Then we drove about 15 minutes to Sushi Hiro. The difference was like day and night! Five sushi chefs at the bar. Immediate greeting. Food started arriving within minutes. Outstanding quality. Larger portions. Much Better service. Look at the receipts from the 2 places, you can see what time we arrived to each restaurant. The time stamps clearly show how long we were stuck at Other Mama -- and how quickly we were seated and fed at Sushi Hiro. Look at the photos I've attached from both places. The contrast speaks for itself. Sushi Hiro's Kamashita (super fatty tuna with caviar and gold flakes) was phenomenal, and unforgettably special, like Valentine's dinner should feel! Other Mama: this was not a small mistake. This was systematic failure: * Poor staffing * Poor communication * VERY Poor portion control * Poor accountability You had a reservation. You had an order. You had customers willing to spend money. And you completely blew it. Thank you, Sushi Hiro, for saving our night. Other Mama: we take food seriously, and so do the people who listen to us. When we talk about a restaurant, others go. Or they don't! Congratulations on giving us something unforgettable to talk about; for All the wrong reasons.

    Japanese Fried Chicken and Carpaccio

We visited Other Mama during Restaurant Week and did their $60 prix fixe menu with four courses. I can honestly say it was 100 percent worth it. The service was a bit slow and it took about 40 minutes to get our first course, but once the food started coming, everything was excellent and well-portioned. We all left full and satisfied. The inside is also very clean and nicely set up. There were four of us, so we split the options to try everything. For the first course, we got the mixed seafood platter and the freshness of the seafood really stood out. For the second course, half of us ordered the Japanese fried chicken and the other half got the seared ocean trout carpaccio. The carpaccio was our favorite. The third course was a seven-piece nigiri set for each of us, and this alone made the meal feel like a great deal. The fish tasted incredibly fresh and our server explained each one to us. This set normally runs around forty-one dollars on its own, so getting it as part of the full sixty-dollar menu was a steal. The fourth course was ice cream and everyone's favorite was either the coconut or the miso flavor. It was a great way to end the meal. Overall, the food was fantastic and we are already planning to come back. It also looks like they have a solid happy hour menu we want to try next.

Came in for Restaurant Week. For 60 dollars a person it was an excellwnt deal. Nice open space with comfortable seating. Service was good. A touch slow at points but attentive. They always stopped by to let us know what was up. The food was excellent. Well seasoned and presented. I could eat their Karage 3 times a day no problem. Tuna Tosatada and oysters were fantastic. I opted for the Miso Cod which was amazing tried the Wagyu steak too (stolen from the wife's plate) which was buttery and tender. The Nigiri plate was a hit as well. I also need about a gallon of the Honey Miso Ice Cream. Will most certainly be back

A hidden gem off the Strip, Other Mama delivers inventive seafood with bold flavors. For Restaurant Week, the 4-course menu is a steal. We started with the seafood platter - fresh, citrusy, with just the right kick. The main, the 7 pieces nigiri and steak, was buttery and perfectly cooked. The fish were super fresh!!! Dessert was a light miso honey ice cream - refreshing and not too sweet, but highlight of the whole meal. Service was warm and attentive, and the vibe is cozy but modern. A must-try if you're into sushi and creative small plates. Book early - it gets packed.

I have been in Vegas for 9 years & have only discovered this place now! It's a cute hidden gem on Durango. Visited on a Tuesday night and the restaurant was pretty filled. We decided to sit at the bar to watch the fresh sushi rolls being made by the Chef. For starters, we did get the caviar French toast. Delicious! We also ordered the Brussel sprouts (5/5), Volcano Roll (10/5), Miso Cod (10/5), and a Brownie Sundae with Miso Honey Ice Cream (3/5) -Just get the scoop of ice cream! The food came out quickly, and the service was great! The servers constantly checked up on us and refilled our beverages. The Chef was kind & chatted with us. I highly recommend Other Mama! Prices are decent. And plenty of options! Next time I will try the Nigiri or even Sashimi set!

There's some great food off the strip in Las Vegas and this is one of them. Other mama is tucked into a strip mall providing phenomenal meals. We each had a cocktail, the special was a blueberry old fashioned and was an amazing creation. The crab cakes were delicious and the sushi was all so good and fresh. Highly recommend other mama to locals and non locals!

The restaurant has a gorgeous, dark, modern atmosphere with TVs everywhere, making it a great place to catch a game while still feeling upscale. She recommended the glittery blackberry martini, and it was absolutely beautiful, delicious, and so much fun. We started with the shareable Brussels sprouts, which were incredible. For our entrées, we ordered the brisket grilled cheese and the loaded onion smash burger. Both were outstanding! The brisket was cooked perfectly, the cheese was unbelievably gooey, and the smash burger had an amazing crust while still being cooked perfectly inside. Between the great food, excellent service, fun cocktails, and inviting atmosphere, 90Ninety is a fantastic spot for a date night, happy hour, or just a relaxing meal. We'll definitely be back!

We had reservations at 5pm so it wasn't busy yet. The dining was very nicely furnished. It's one of my favorite foods. So when I say theirs is quite possibly the best I've ever had in my life, it means something. We ordered family style for the entrees. We ordered the Bolognese Pappardelle, Strozzapreti, Ricotta Cavatelli( subbed gf pasta), Chicken Scarpariello and Short Rib Lumache. They were all absolutely delicious. Dessert did not disappoint either. We ordered the Brookie sundae and the Tiramisu. I couldn't have the Tiramisu but I was told that it was great. The Brookie sundae was a fun dessert. It came with vanilla, pistachio and chocolate gelato, whip and some sort of cake on the bottom. I didn't go all the way down because of my stupid allergy again. The gelatos were all good. I arrived at 7:55 PM on a Tuesday, a day universally recognized by international law as Taco Tuesday, lured in by their flashing signs and enthusiastic social media posts advertising "Happy Hour Specials!" As it turns out, the joke was on me. The "happy" part of the hour apparently expires right as the sun goes down, because this establishment now closes at 8:00 PM. Let's break down the sheer genius of this business model: Heavily promote a Tuesday-specific food holiday. Close the doors precisely when 90% of the working population is finally ready to eat dinner. Nothing says "we love our customers" quite like the staff aggressively stacking chairs on tables and staring daggers at you while you try to swallow a single street taco before the mandatory curfew. I assume the owners must absolutely hate money, or perhaps they have a strict 8:30 PM bedtime that they refuse to negotiate on. Either way, if you want Taco Tuesday here, you better be prepared to eat your dinner at the same time as a toddler. Next week, I'll be taking my appetite to a place that understands that Tuesdays and tacos belong to the night. If you plan on catching their legendary Tuesday Happy Hour, I highly recommend skipping work, taking a half-day, or just ordering your carne asada during breakfast hours.

5/5 Stopped in for…read morean early dinner with a party of three around 5:15, and Rustic House absolutely delivered. The atmosphere was lively with plenty of people enjoying themselves, yet it never felt crowded. Comfortable seating, great décor, and TVs everywhere make it an awesome place to catch a game. The menu is huge, and everything we ordered was excellent. The standout was their $25 Wednesday and Saturday Steak and Lobster special, an incredible deal featuring an 8 ounce top sirloin and lobster tail, both cooked perfectly for all three of us. Their daily specials are outstanding too, including $30 Steak and King Crab on Mondays and Thursdays, St. Louis style ribs on Fridays, and 50% off all steaks on Sundays. The sides were just as delicious. Service was exceptional from everyone we encountered. We also signed up for their rewards and text program and instantly saved $40 off our bill. It was quick, easy, and they send updates on future specials and events. We have now visited three of their four locations, and every experience has been fantastic. Rustic House has become one of our favorite local spots, and we will definitely be back!

An absolute master class in culinary & hospitality experience…read more Started with the ponzu tuna crudo, very well done and balanced. This place nails it with variety & crazy modest prices! You know the character of a restaurant by the care they put into the menu priced that shows respect for their guests. They offer steak night (every night!) with entrees 50% off!! The filet was seared crisp outside, perfect med rare. The pasta's handmade that actually tastes like someone kneaded it with love, not a machine. Veal ossobuco is my favorite meal & this one is at the very top of a long list of past favorites. It melts off the bone, rich and slow-braised, with perfect acid in the tomato ragu. Was so satisfying!! Mac & cheese was way way too good! Best part was every dish hit the table so hot! I love food that is still steaming to the last bite. The picca chica cocktail was a perfect blend of spicy & sweet. Wine list is stupidly deep; you'll spot bottles you've never heard of, all poured by people who actually care if you like it. Lastly the crème brûlée was truly out of this world and so unique in taste and presentation. I'm quietly plotting my next reservation. Worth every bite. A special thank you to Colleen & Chef Lupe for their hospitality & genuine service!

I have been to Ciao Vino in the beginning of their opening period and decided to went back again…read morethis week. The fact that they have their happy hour all day from opening to closed pretty amazing. All wines and cocktails were on point. My favorite there was Limoncello spritz! (Less than $10) Some of star dishes that flavorful and delicious are : Beef carpacio, Seasonal farmer salad, Chicken Masala. Spoke with chef Nico and found out that soon they will offer steak which I can't hardly wait. Staffs are always friendly from the host, servers and bartender. I usually sat at the bar and chat with Mark, Jose or Felice sometimes bar can get so busy but definitely worth it! I will be back for live music on Friday(check with them before you go, if you want to see the live music)
