Unfortunately, our meal was a letdown from start to finish. The crab soup had tiny shells that made every spoonful risky. We spent time picking out fragments, which created an unpleasant experience. Even worse was the fish entrée. It was clearly not fresh -- the texture was tough and had freezer burn. We had to send it back, which is something we rarely do. The server was understanding and accommodating, but it really killed the vibe of the evening. While the ambiance was nice (TVs playing sports) and the service was polite, the food quality simply didn't meet basic expectations for a seafood restaurant. For Restaurant Week Diane and I returned here, and this time I had a great dinner. Plus, it was one of the best deals available of many fine restaurant offerings. I began with a Hot crab Dip with White Bread that was both heat hot and filled with crab. Then after being outfitted with a plastic bib and two gloves, I delved into a Steamer for One sporting a half-pound of Mussels, a half-pound of Peel & Eat Shrimp; a half-pound of Snow Crab, and a half-pound of Clams plus two Corn Cobettes and chunks of boiled potatoes, in addition to a specially ordered 1/2 pound of Dungeness Crab. This time the Dungeness Crab was perfectly cooked, and everything tasted better bathed in garlic butter. But, alas, the chef forgot to include the advertised sausage which I hungrily anticipated before we arrived on premises. But not to worry, a "small" side of lengths of somewhat spicy sausage was prepared without charge after I pointed out this deficiency, and all was well. It took me over 1-1/2 hours to finish my meal, but finish it I did, including a sweet slice of luscious Chocolate Cake to which I added a scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream, and was given two scoops. Diane ate Fried Shrimp and French Fries, but found the Fries to be too salty. Service was good but I encountered a problem after I got home. An unwelcome email was waiting for me from OpenTable asking why I had not shown up for my 7 p.m. OpenTable reservation at Crab Corner. Not only had we entered the restaurant and were seated at 7:05 p.m., but I handed our waitress a written copy of my OpenTable confirmation at that time, asking her to make sure to let OpenTable know that we had honored our reservation. OpenTable pulls the privilege of allowing a diner to reserve restaurants with it if only a few reservations are missed without a really good excuse. It took a succession of emails to straighten this matter out. And I ultimately learned that we were initially reported by waitstaff as no-shows but later in the night a correction was reported that we were dining at the restaurant. Unfortunately, the no-show inquiry email had already been automatically sent out by that time offering me the opportunity to correct the record or explain my absence. So, food and service were five stars but some deduction had to be made for forgotten sausage coupled with an erroneous initial report of non-attendance at the restaurant. This place was not the best. The waitress we had though was fantastic, very friendly, attentive and helpful. The place itself has kind of grimy dirty feel to it and not in like the acceptable dive bar way. It just felt not cared for. There was a piece of crab on the floor that was there for like ever when we were eating that no less than 3 employees stepped on, noticed and just kept going. I've had way better seafood in Vegas. The best thing we ate was actually the chips that came with the meals. The steamer was wayyy overcooked making everything tough to eat and tough to deshell. The taste was also super basic. The sliders had almost no meat in them and they looked like someone took a normal patty and cut it up into pieces and shoved it on a bun. The lobster roll was almost entirely bread with almost no lobster in it. The cakes were ok but you can clearly tell they're premade cakes sliced up. In summary: Won't be back simply cause the food wasn't worth it and the area felt dirty. Server was good though. read more

This place is a solid spot. The music is always on point, the service is good, and the oysters are really fresh and delicious. I especially like the reggae music play list they play, it gives the whole place a relaxed, vacation type vibe even when you're just out for a regular day or night. Was craving seafood and a place to watch the game AND since Crab Corner was participating in Restaurant Week 2026, all my boxes were checked. Had the Steamer for 1, and truly was more food than one could eat. Crab legs, mussels, shrimp, clams, corn cobs, potatos, and sausage. Dinner also came with a choice of appetizer and dessert. Heck of a lot. Everything was steamed in a cajon-y? spice, not overly spicy, good taste. The sausage had nice heat but not too hot. Everything came together nicely. Was very happy with my meal. The restaurant appeared severely understaffed, one server and one busser for the entire place. There was a blue-haired woman who seemed to be a manager, but she didn't step in to help when the server became overwhelmed after receiving a large party of seven. If she is management, the lack of leadership was very noticeable. Toward the end of our visit, we handed over our credit card and waited several minutes for the check while the server and the blue-haired woman stood at the entrance chatting. We were clearly ready to leave, yet nothing was done. Ambiance: 1/5 The space felt cluttered and dirty. While I understand the walls are painted to represent the Maryland flag, the overall effect came off as a dirty dive bar. Born and raised Maryland approved! Taking a trip to Vegas, I saw this recommended and had to come check it out to see how much it reminded me of back home. The place is decorated with terrapins and orioles memorabilia. Pictures of federal hill and inner harbor. I felt like I walked through the glass doors and teleported into Baltimore. I ordered the crab cake platter with boardwalk style fries and Jazmine rice. Everything was fresh and hot and flavorful matched with a cold Stella Artois on a hot day felt like Heaven on Earth. For desert I ordered the Baltimore snowball with egg custard flavoring and melted marshmallow and it brought me back to my summer childhood. Came here for the happy hour since they offer oysters on the grill. Not a fan of the oysters raw. These grilled oysters are delicious! Seasoned very well. Obviously they were small sized but worth the two dollars for each. Had an order of their mozzarella sticks high were good. Beer selection is minimal but good if you're not a craft beer snob. We came in on a Wednesday night party of 10 for their jumbo blue crabs for $6.00 We were seated right away upon arrival. They also offered outdoor seating that had a few of hammocks which was pretty cool but it's hot now in vegas so we opt out for outdoor seating. We ordered calamari, french fries, buffalo wings and mozzarella sticks for appetizers and calm chowder soup. The clam chowder soup was such a disappointment it was salty. For our main courses we ordered a total of 23 jumbo blue crabs, fish and chips, crab sandwich and their Alfredo pasta. For our sides we had corn on a cob and white rice. The crab was okay for the price. So little meat and time consuming to open. Their calamari was good and their fish and chips. I see there were only 2 servers working the floor so it was constant asking for gloves, beverage refills, lemon, butter etc. I know Mondays they have ayce but I wasn't sure if the blue crab was included. I did ask for their specialty sauce but she just brought over garlic butter and we were told to add more of the old bay seasoning in it. I'd like to give 3.5, but I went with 4 because the service was good. Our food was also better than expected. They have a great daily happy hour (2-6pm). Beers are $1 off. Wines $2 off. Like 6-8 apps on special. The crab dip was great but you get charged for chips with it (it normally comes with a soft pretzel which I would weird). The bacon wrapped shrimp were fresh and crispy. The char grilled oysters were good! I had never had grilled oysters before. The fried oyster slider was also good -- fresh and a big oyster. The crab cake slider wasn't worth ordering -- it was literally like 1/4 of the size of the slider bun. I also ordered a lb of little neck clams (not on happy hour, so $13). The clams were fresh and not chewy. The food overall was very good, but the restaurant? Needs some help. It was just.. dirty. The bottles were covered in dust at the bar. The menus were old, tattered, and sticky. The back door was covered in wood from clearly being broken and the glass not replaced. It made me want to give the restaurant a 2 rating, but since the food and service were good, I upped my review. Checked out Grab Corner on South Rainbow, right next to the Fingerprinting Press I usually go to. Before you walk in, make sure to read the board signs outside! They list the weekly specials and happy hour deals (2-6 PM daily, dine-in only), and there's a separate note for Sunday brunch (10 AM-2 PM). You can snap a pic for reference before heading in. Inside, there's another chalkboard saying to wait to be seated. We came around 2 PM during happy hour and got seated right away, no wait, only 2-3 tables were occupied. We sat in a small booth and were handed both the main and happy hour menus. Ambiance? A little boring. Clean? It seemed fine, though I didn't check the restroom. Now the service... kind of meh. Our server wasn't rude, but she wasn't friendly either. No smiles, not very approachable. I asked a few questions and felt like she got annoyed or just didn't understand me. Customer service definitely has room to improve. I did pay with a Synergy gift card from Costco, which they accept, so that's a plus. Just remember to bring cash for tips if you're using a gift card. As for the food... oof. Just not it. Bland, under-seasoned, and forgettable. Clam chowder tasted canned, and everything else just felt like it was missing flavor. My first time and came in happy hour, and i'm the only table and had a doubt that maybe their food is not that good that's why they're not that busy. But i'm wrong. When my orders came, everything was so good, I ordered 20pcs of $1 fresh oysters (meaty,fresh not old), 5pcs grilled oysters (well seasoned), 2 large female blue crabs (meaty and not dry) (they gave me free extra so 3 crabs total, very nice of them), cup of clam chowder (it's descent and hearty) and a michelada for my drink (well balanced flavor i can taste everything). My server Jenny was awesome! And she made my michelada so good. She knows when to check on you and when not to, she'll let you enjoy your food, kudos for that!. All in all FOR ME, this restaurant deserves to be busy always. The quality of the food exceeds the price. The ambiance is regular like other boiling seafood restaurant, spacious. Whatever you do, do NOT go to this restaurant on Rainbow in Las Vegas! I give it zero stars. I arrived about 6pm Saturday night. There were 22 people seated, one large party of 11. The rest of the tables were 2 tops. 3 servers & 1 busboy. Relatively empty for the size of the place. It took a while just to get seated. After the busboy cleared/cleaned the table he was working on when I walked in, he sat me at a table. Then I had to wait for a server longer than normal, as if nobody actually was waiting on my section or something. Finally, a server comes over to ask if I would like something to drink. I ordered an Arnold Palmer. It was made and just sat at the bar whilst the server made drinks for another table. No biggie as there was a large party and I assumed she was working on drinks for them. Another server grabbed my drink and delivered it to me. Then another server asked me if anybody was helping me yet. I told her that I was ready to order. She took my order in her hand-held device. I ordered the Lobster Bisque. It came out just a tad colder than lukewarm. I wasn't happy about that but I didn't want it nuked in a microwave if I sent it back. So I ate it as it was. I ordered the mussels & the clams....two separate dishes. I originally came for Maryland Crabs as they were supposed to be flown in daily at this place. The price was absolutely crazy for them so I decided against them. The mussels & clams came out. I had no silverware so I looked at the bin on the table to see if there was any silverware in the bin.....nope. I flagged down the server and told her that I didn't have any silverware. She said that she knew that (yet didn't say shyt about no silverware when she sat the food on the table). She claimed that they were washing the silverware. I have worked in commercial kitchens so I know how long it takes to run the dishwasher. I waited a reasonable amount of time and flagged the server and asked her how much longer would it be until I had some silverware. She refused to answer the question and just said she would bring it out as soon as it was done washing. (I should have walked out at that point, but went against my better judgement) about 4 minutes later, one of the servers comes out with a silverware tray. I get a set of silverware and start eating my food. Then I noticed what I thought was a broken piece of mussel shell in the broth. I touched it and it wasn't hard so I got my fork and scooped it out of the broth. It was some sorta bug!! I was too through at that point. I took pictures of the bug to pass on to the authorities & social media. I flagged down the server and td her that I was not going eat either dish because there was a bug in t mussels dish. I showed her the bug on the fork. I asked for the check for the Arnold Palmer and the soup. She took the mussels dish, came back about 4 minutes later and said the owner was not going to charge me for anything. I got up and left immediately. This place needs to be shut down. That's just disgusting and totally unacceptable to serve up a dish with a bug in it. Somebody clearly didn't wash anything properly or timely. read more

And we each had ordered one, haha. But I'm glad we each had our own, because we were going in on those seafood boils. Everything was cooked perfectly. The crab slid out of the shell, the shrimps were not overcooked and they had sooo many potatoes, which are like my favorite part. I've never tried mussels before, but I felt brave and decided to give them a go. They were delicious!! The place has a fun, colorful vibe, though the bright red and yellow decor is a bit over-the-top. Definitely more of a dive bar feel, which is fine for the prices, but they really need to update the tables--one was cracked, and it actually ripped my pants! I took my mom here during Restaurant Week for their 3-course offering. For appetizers, the Famous Annapolis Crab Dip stood up to its name, with ample crab and good taste. The Classic Calamari was okay; I appreciated that it wasn't overly seasoned which tends to happen at many places, but its texture was quite soft and not fried much at all. The 1/3 lbs Crab Cake Sandwich was solid. Much like the crab dip, there was plenty of crab and no lingering shells at all. The Maryland Red Crab Soup that is included with the sandwich was fairly underwhelming. The real star of the show was the Ultimate Steamer for One, which consisted of 1/2 lbs snow crab, 1/2 lbs shrimp, 1/2 lbs black mussels, 1 lbs neck clams, corn, potatoes, and sausage. Everything was cooked perfectly and the flavor was amazing. Nothing was overly salty, which is usually my issue with many seafood spots. We finished with a NY Cheesecake and a Triple Chocolate Cake. The cheesecake was a big hit, even though I'm not big on raspberry drizzles. On the other hand, we weren't as fond of the chocolate cake which was way too sweet.
