I took my 328i BMW to Placetas because my A/C was blowing cool/warmish air. He started to work on the car immediately, found the problem in few minutes, worked on the car for 30 minutes and the car's AC is colder than ever! I don't want to jinx it because it has been only few days since the fix, but so far so good. Hopefully, it will stay this way. And their prices are pretty reasonable too. read more

What a find! Other AC shops wanted to replace the compressor.... he checked it and said it was working fine. All he had to do was drain and refill the Freon and voila the air blows ice cold again.... thanks so much!!! read more

This review is long overdo. The AC in my old car was broken. You know it is too hot in the summer and summertime is not the time to be without AC in South Florida! Maikel fixed it. He was fast and professional. He is amazing! read more

Couldn't possibly have asked for a better experience. Mikael did exactly what he said he was going to do on time and at the quoted price {he told me the price might be higher based on his cost for parts but he kept the price to the original quote}. I never write reviews, but felt obligated to acknowledge a company that deserves it. My wifes Toyota Sienna had the AC go out, I took it to the Toyota dealership where all of this vehicles maintenance has been done, after charging me $275 dollars to advise me that the compressor was bad, they quoted over 3K to replace it. Are you kidding me, I then started searching for local AC shops and came across Placetas A/C, Miakel was transparent about cost for a compressor and condenser replacement, he offered the same compressor brand (Denso) that the Toyota dealer offered, this compressor is made in Japan and worth the extra money (in my opinion). Placetas confirmed the diagnosis of the compressor being bad (in about 10 minutes by connecting a gauge), and gave a price to replace that was a third of what the Toyota dealer quoted. Do yourself a favor and if your vehicle has AC problems, give this place a try, you will appreciate their transparency and quality of work, which is very difficult to find these days. Oh b.t.w, they offered the same 1 year warranty the dealership offered. read more
