She then walked back to the kitchen loudly ranting and blaming the kitchen staff, saying she "didn't expect it to get so damn busy all of a sudden." Her behavior was unprofessional and uncomfortable for customers to witness. At that point, I honestly considered taking my group and leaving. After placing our order, we noticed the staff packing our food in to-go bags. We politely told the gentleman working that we were planning to eat inside. He responded by saying they close in 30 minutes and that we were not allowed to eat in the building. This was the first time anyone mentioned the dining room closing, and again, there was no signage posted stating this policy. We ordered three meals and one order of feta fries. It was very clear that the three of us were dining together, yet at no point when ordering were we informed that the dining room would be closing at 8 PM and that service would be to-go only after that time. I have eaten inside this location many times around this same hour without issue. Between the rude attitude, yelling, being forced to take our food to go without prior notice, and the complete lack of communication, this was one of the worst experiences I've had at this location. Management seriously needs to address customer service standards and ensure staff communicate policies clearly and professionally.
