    Hummus and bread. Delicious!
    Roger A.

This place is amazing! They used to be in a food halll and then moved into this new place. Such a major improvement! The food is fresh and tasty! Everything is great. I had the lamb wrap. YUM! The bread and hummus as an appetizer was a great start. Would I recommend? Yes! Would I return? Most definitely! Worth the cost? Yes.

Met some coworkers for a lunch and they said it was really good. I thought the bread they bring to the table was dry and didn't come with any oil or dip. Had a good flavor just dry. Got to try the beet dip which was way better than expected! My Turkish Doner Wrap (lamb) didn't have any sauce and the meat was dry. I asked for some tatziki sauce and was given some and it made it somewhat better. Overall, not sure I'll try it again but maybe. The servers were very friendly and the restaurant was cute.

The interior is very spacious with an inviting and relaxing atmosphere. I ordered from their lunch special which includes an appetizer and your main course meal. I had hummus and the Adana Kebab. The hummus was delicious and everything tasted fresh. 5/5 Which I certainly don't mind waiting for food that's made to order, fresh, exquisite Adana Kebab was juicy and flavorful. 5/5 My little one loved their hummus and he even did his happy dance. I believe the owner was there to witness that. The bread was also fresh and warm. 5/5 My little one and his little friend had their lentil soup and they liked it. My friend had a salad meal that was their spinach and some saladand she really liked it. My friend's husband also enjoyed his food. We shared one order of walnut baklava and we all enjoyed our dessert. 5/5 The owner was our server and he was friendly, kind, personable, and good with our little ones. By that I mean he was chatting with them and looking out for them to ensure they were safe. He got them to giggle and got them babbling. It was a great sight to see. There's no changing area so make sure you change your little one in your car or just be mindful in case they need a diaper change during the visit etc. Overall, it was a lovely experience everything from the customer service, atmosphere, and the food. It's a family-owned business and if you have yet to check them out I highly recommend you do.

Turkish Breakfast! Had a lunch outing planned with our group and when we noticed Beren also serves breakfast until 11, we switched up the itinerary a bit to give breakfast a try I have fond memories of simit when I visited turkey, so the Classic Ottoman jumped out at me - a Turkish Simit bagel with sausage, cheese, and mixed greens. I loved it as it brought back good memories of savory and simple breakfasts in Turkey. Coupled with a strong Turkish coffee, I thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast here. After inquiring about the popular items on their lunch and dinner menu, the chef was also nice enough to bring out an Adana Kebab for us, which was cooked to perfection. Needless to say, we had a great time at Beren and I plan to come back to try more of their menu, especially some of those delicious kebabs featured on their dinner menu.

Heard so much about this place, I just had to come and check it out! The ambiance is simple, clean, and welcoming. We were greeted by Charlie, the owner, who warmly explained that his menu is built on traditional family recipes from Turkey. We started with the Babaghanoush--delicious, smoky, and served with fresh, homemade bread. Next came the Feta Roll--crispy eggrolls stuffed with creamy feta cheese--absolutely perfect in flavor and texture. The Beet & Orange Salad was a refreshing mix of spinach, cucumbers, and a bright, flavorful dressing. For mains, we tried the Adana Kebab, served with rice and a small salad. The kebab was perfectly seasoned, juicy, and bursting with flavor. We also ordered the Beyti Kebab, which features the same Adana Kebab wrapped in delicate pita bread, sliced, and served over a bed of rich garlic yogurt, alongside rice and a fresh, well-seasoned house salad. Dessert was pure bliss. The Pistachio Baklava--so fresh and flaky--came in four generous pieces and was unbelievably good. Honestly, they should package it for shipping! We also tried the Cyprus Gold, which took things to another level with its combination of walnuts, cream, coconut, and a hint of orange--absolutely divine. While they don't serve alcohol, it's BYOB, and there's no service fee. Charlie, thank you for your warm hospitality and for sharing your traditions with such love. This meal was truly a treat, and you can bet we'll be back soon. Well done!

Stopped in and really enjoyed it. Charlie the owner is great and clearly takes pride in the food. I ordered the Adana Kebab and the hanger steak, both cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The fresh salad really complemented the meat, and the rice was incredibly tender with pine nuts mixed in. Finished with baklava and Turkish coffee, which was the perfect combo. The baklava was crisp without being too sweet, and the coffee was strong and rich. Solid food, welcoming energy, and a place I'd definitely come back to.

After my first visit, I completely understand why. When I walked in, I was immediately welcomed and kindly guided through parts of the menu I wasn't familiar with. Mediterranean food usually isn't my go-to, so I appreciated how patient and helpful they were without making me feel out of place. I ordered the beef shawarma plate with tzatziki and hot sauce on the side, then sat at the barstools near the food prep area while I waited. Watching the owner prepare the food was honestly part of the experience. At one point, he came over and insisted I try their tea. I initially declined, but he smiled and said he'd only pour me half a cup. That small act of kindness and hospitality genuinely sold me on this place. The restaurant was clean, quiet, welcoming, and smelled incredible. And yes, absolutely try the tea. It was a custom Earl Grey blend made specifically for them, and it was fantastic. When I got home, I was surprised by how generous the portions were for the price. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully balanced. The spices were used perfectly, the produce tasted fresh, and the food even held its temperature well by the time I got home. I've only been here once so far, but I already plan on becoming a regular, probably at least once a week. Y'all are doing an amazing job, and I'm really glad I found this place.

This place does Turkish food justice and has so much cultural charm with the decor and warm, cozy atmosphere. We started off with the complimentary bread, which was fresh and warm. I do wish that it came with an oil dip, but it was nice to have with my meal. For my entree, I ordered the lamb gyro and absolutely loved it. I sometimes find an issue that dishes at Turkish/Middle Eastern restaurants can be salty, but it wasn't here! The salad it came with did have a bit too much pepper for my liking, but the tomatoes were incredibly juicy. Overall, the meal was delicious and light. The staff was kind and attentive, but we were also the only customers there on a late Tuesday afternoon. There's a dedicated parking lot for Flying Carpet, which is a huge plus especially for it being on Magnolia avenue. Overall, I greatly enjoyed my experience here and will definitely be coming back!

We were greeted and seated right away. Service throughout was warm and attentive, our server checked on us a few times to make sure everything was good. They started us with warm, crispy bread and a yogurt-based dip that was quite flavorful. I ordered the lamb shish kebab platter (well done), and we also tried the chicken shish kebab platter. Both came with buttery rice, a fresh salad drizzled with olive oil, and yogurt sauce. The chicken was tender and properly seasoned, but the lamb was the highlight. Lamb can easily turn dry or overly gamey if not handled right, but this was juicy, tender, and packed with flavor even when cooked well done, exactly how a good shish kebab should be. I skipped dessert this time, though they offer a few options, and I noticed what appeared to be a buffet setup, which I'm curious to try next. Overall, a solid, well executed Mediterranean meal. I'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu.
