I have been hear many times before pandemic. Yesterday, I took out lunch from here. Everytime food was great. Generally I go with their regular burgers, which were all good. This time I went with a couple of specials - blackened alaskan salmon and taco burger. Taco burger was essentially chicken burger. Both were really good. One of the best spots we've visited in a while! Very nice decor and noticeably clean (I can be a stickler for germs sometimes). A small detail but I can't remember the last time my utensils were given to me hot and freshly steamed before this! Attentive waitress amd management who went around multiple times to make sure everyone had what they needed. First, drinks are PHENOMENAL! We usually stop after 2 drinks since we like to save and go through the alc collection at home but we just had to get more. Shoutout to the bartender, my B-berry was so good!! House infused berry vodka and it almost tasted like juice! My boyfriend enjoyed the selection on tap, with favorites from local breweries available. As for our food, it did not disappoint. I got the big plate special, which was chicken and broccoli fettuccine with their special mac and jack sauce. Large serving size and was surprisingly good, considering I had originally come in for a burger. To say I'm disappointed would be an understatement. I used to live a few doors down from the Plan B in WeHa so when this one popped up on Yelp as a dinner suggestion, my husband and I were all for it after we saw the panini place was closed. Plan B (literally) was a bust. We arrived and were seated next to the back door when there were plenty of other open seats we could have been placed at. After dealing with the door blowing our napkins and things around three times in less than 8 minutes, we knew we'd have to move. So instead they then moved us to the booth next to the front door, where we could then be blinded. Solid logic. It gets better. The pickles on the table were just solid soppy messes of salt, so by the time our food arrived after another 30 minute wait, we were starving. Well they showed us. My husbands burger and my veggie burger patties were incredibly small, and please see my photos I uploaded of the dismal excuse that was brought out to me. Why would you put a blob of mayo on top of a veggie burger on a bed of lettuce. You drizzle it on, it looked like unappetizing slop. I was curious to try this place again after so many years. Unfortunately, I do not think I'll come back again. When I had put my name in, it was estimated that I would get a table in 20-25 minutes even though 5 tables were empty. I checked back in for an update after 30 mins. Again, I was told to be patient for another 20 mins and that 6 groups were before us. In total, we had to wait ~80 minutes. This was very annoying to me because I would have been fine if they were more honest/realistic about the estimated wait. I wish I could say the food was worth it. We ordered the Greek salad and calamari/pickles to share. The salad was decent and well portioned. The fried calamari and pickles were the most disappointing. The batter was very plain/soggy and the fried pickles tasted like fried cucumber slices. My boyfriend and I also agreed that our burgers were just not good. Overall, it just tasted like something was missing. I'm not really sure how this place won best burger in CT for 2022, I was really underwhelmed! I hope it was just a one off experience. read more

I'm truly saddened to leave a 3-star rating. Plan B is family favorite, but after our last visit on a Sunday afternoon, I'll have to think twice before returning. We were a party of 3, ordered the Blue Chips to start, followed by two Burger Salads (one pink, one no pink) and a Bacon Cheeseburger Deluxe (no pink). The app was so yummy, absolutely no complaints there. The salads came out looked good, but the plates were a lot smaller than I remember. Aside from both salads coming out no pink, they were just OK. The issue came with the deluxe burger - ordered no pink but once cut into, it was very pink. The server was super apologetic and quickly took the plate and ordered a new burger be made. They quickly returned to share that the meal will be removed from the bill. The newly made burger took over 30 mins to be made and once it was brought table side, it was raw. Once the server noticed, they offered to take the burger back and try for another but at that point we just wanted our bill. The service was truly appreciated but I was disappointed with the quality in which the entrees where prepared, especially the burger. I hope this can be corrected because, as mentioned before, Plan B is a family favorite. read more

Yummm! I came here after going to a yelp event for nachovember & have been thinking about their nachos ever since. They are just SO DANG GOOD. I love how a lot of the food options are gluten free! I got the Baja burger with gluten free buns. The burger patty was DELICIOUS. The fries are pretty good as well. I have always enjoyed the food and drinks at Plan B. The burgers are nice and juicy and cooked to your preference. Truffle fries or the Parmesan fries used to be my favorite until I spotted the sriracha fries for sides on their menu. I am addicted to the sriracha fries. They have a good bar menu as well and I always tend to stick to sazerac. Hanging out at Plan B is a no brainer. The HH menu is also good here. read more

Super duper lunch today [now that term is dating me] at Plan B with my neighbor in [eating] crime. She had the triple Cheeseburger Sliders with Parmesan Fries from the appetizer menu. There was on burger left to take home. I had the Cuban Burger [¡que rico!] with ground pork, bacon, spicy mustard, cheddar & pickles and taste, taste, taste. What a joyful mouthful. I got the turkey burger and fries and the bun tasted like it was days old, It was stale and I didn't eat it. The turkey burger itself was very good though. Once a month birthday luncheons are an office celebration. The Birthday People jointly decide where they would like their lunch from and a desert for later in the day. With thirty plus and growing in our office this is no small task and expense. This early my fellow birthday chum and I decided to enjoy burgers, salads, and fries from Plan B, Glastonbury. We offered to pick-up haul and what a haul! Six brown shopping bags with the most enticing aroma's. The kitchen staff had plenty of noticed for this order, but this couldn't be anything more than a monumental task to prepare and deliver hot and fresh. The menu requires deep study if you don't know what you want. There are a lot of choices. I had a blue cheese burger and fries. I ordered "some pink" and with the grilled onion found the burger messy and difficult to hold together. A half pound, I believe, so the balance of bun, beef and fixin' was off. A smaller burger would probably not slip around. All this said my biggest gripe is the fries. Skinny McDonald's fries with no potato flavor and they get cold fast. For the price (not cheap) they could provide more flavorful steak fries. The wife had a quinoa bowl, liked it and took some home. So just not "I have to come back soon" kind of place. read more

Went with family for dinner. I wasn't hungry so I got just sweet potatoes fries which was absolutely delicious. The rest of the gang all got assorted burgers and truffle fries. My daughter and grandson is gluten free and we're so happy to find a great selection of choices. She got the gluten free chicken tenders and everyone tried one so she had to order more because they were so delicious. My grand son got a gluten free smokehouse burger which was huge and he loved every bite of it. It is difficult to find good tasting gluten free choices so this just became a favorite cone to place when we want to travel or are in the area as it's a 45 minute drive from where we are located. This is my first time here! They have Happy Hour from 3-6 on weekdays. I'm starting it out with an Older Fashioned. They use Elijah Craig. It's pretty good. No garnish, but for $5 beggars can't be choosers! For my appetizer, I'm having the jalapeño poppers. They are more like jalapeño stuffed mussels. They are half pieces with a yummy stuffing. They are stuffed with chicken, bacon & cheese, topped with cilantro cream sauce & pico de gallo. Delicious! For my next drink, I'm having a Benjamin Button made with Rebel Yell Bourbon with orange blossom honey and fresh lemon juice. I was surprised it was a martini. It was good. Well-balanced and only $5. For my next food item, I had their Beef Chili Bowl with a dollop of horseradish cream. Very good! Horseradish cream no wasn't too strong (unfortunately). For my salad, I'm having the small garden salad made with Iceberg lettuce, tomato, cucumber, carrots & lemon thyme vinaigrette. Easy to eat and delicious! For my final drink, I'm having a B-Berry which is a House-made blueberry infused Tito's Handmade Vodka. It's a martini that's just a bit too sweet. Then again, it's only be $5. For my entree. I'm having the Organic Veggie Burger which is a House-made with organic beans, quinoa & fresh veggies, with lettuce, sliced tomato, American cheese & roasted garlic mayo. My side is the buttermilk cole slaw. The burger tastes like chili and is a bit mushy, but it went down easy. I loved the easy-to-eat cole slaw. For dessert, I'm having the Bourbon Pineapple Upside Down Cake which is Topped with a Bourbon Caramel Sauce and Vanilla Ice Cream. This is Heaven let me tell you. Plan B is a low key neighborhood bar and restaurant. I sat in the bar area to take advantage of the Happy Hour which runs from 3 pm - 6 pm in the bar area only. I got chicken tenders for $3 and 3 sliders for $7. I also ordered the John Daly - Sweet Tea Vodka and Lemonade served in a 22 ounce mason jar so it is a BIG one. It is three drinks and you pay for one. What a great deal! You are served house pickles but I turned them down as I don't like pickles but they looked good. There are two televisions in the bar area if you want to watch a baseball game. There are super comfortable booths with metal foot rests as they are high up off the ground. It is moderately loud but with everyone chatting and having a drink, it didn't bother me. It is located in a busy shopping center / strip mall. There is underground parking lot so there is ample parking as long as you don't arrive too late. Back to my food . . .Sliders were super tasty. Meat and cheese - no frills -just the way I like them. Couldn't tell what kind of cheese was on the burger other than it was white. Guessing American. I ordered a side order of tater tots. Eating them made me feel like a kid again. They were fresh and delicious. The chicken tenders were dry and needed more breading. They were piping hot so I knew they were fresh out of the fryer but they weren't very good. And on top of it, the ranch dressing was runny. I liked the selection of upbeat alternative rock - Junior Prom, INXS, Foster the People. I returned a few days later. This time I ordered the Razz Smash and the broccoli cheddar tots with the sliders. The tots were steaming hot. Be careful as they will burn your mouth if you eat an entire one. The broccoli and cheese mixture is coated in potato to create the tot. Really inventive and tasty as I am a big fan of broccoli. My suggestion is to cut them in half and let the steam escape before eating. Once the side of cheese cooled down, it got clumpy and was harder to eat but still had a good flavor. Makes eating your veggies easier. The cocktail was strong. The bourbon is very pronounced. Couldn't really taste the raspberry or lemon but there was a hint of sweetness. I just wouldn't be able to identify what I was tasting other than bourbon. The sliders on my second visit were greasy but still had good flavor. The greasiness made them harder to eat. I got Kari my waitress. She was friendly and attentive. I would recommend this place if you want an easy going meal and don't care about calories. read more

By the time I got home 8 minutes later, the food was cold. It was an 8 minute drive, the food hadn't even "just cooled off". It was COLD. So, I would not recommend this place for take out. Food was clearly ready much earlier than the provided time frame and was bagged up, ready to go, sitting on a counter, rather than being kept hot. Aside from that disappointment, the food itself was just ok. Nothing special, but not disgusting either. The tavern burger was bland, the "special sauce" doesn't do anything to enhance a simple burger. The beef was plain, unseasoned at all. The blue chips were ok, an item I am sure would be better to order for dine in than take out. The jalapeño poppers were a disappointment. The poblano cream sauce was not that. It was not a cream sauce at all, and simply Chipotle peppers in sauce straight from a can and fully blended. And for the disclaimer in the item "we aren't responsible for the heat...", the "poblano cream" was the only thing in the appetizer that had any spice or heat to it. The were very welcoming, happy and just wanted to please us as their guests. We each had one of the FANTASTIC burgers- They were cooked to perfection and the quality was second to none. I ordered one of their specialty cocktails and asked it to be tweaked a bit. NO PROBLEM!!!The mixologist prepared it to perfection. My husband and I stopped here for lunch today after a doctor visit and we were pleasantly surprised at the ambience, the menu with all of the choices including vegetarian and healthy options, and the amazing service we had. First time going there, went for my birthday, I enjoyed myself immensely! Staff was extremely friendly, even the security guards! DJ was good, The food was great, I had the pulled pork sliders which I had hesitations about bcuz I've never eaten anything with coleslaw on top but it was excellent! The burgers here, soooooo good. The waiters/waitresses have all been very nice. I've been here since they started (i think) and I've had an experience where my order wasn't correct, but they fixed everything quickly and accurately. It has a really nice gastro-pub type of vibe, if you're into that scene. The bar seems to be popping, I just go for the food though. But you can never go wrong with this place for American food. I've also heard the GF Fish and chips were really good. I normally get the Tavern burger, the Buffalo chicken Mac and cheese, or the chicken burger: all super good.
