Plancha feels like a hidden gem on Disney property - a really nice and affordable brunch experience with less hustle and bustle of being at Disney. The dining space is really nice and open, and it was fun to walk around the resort for a bit after! I enjoyed the breakfast empanadas as a starter, and they were flavorful and great! I'm not sure I got a whole lot of egg and breakfast vibes, but a good empanada is a good empanada. I also enjoyed the traditional breakfast plate, and everything was solid! They have a good breakfast potato, which is a clear sign of quality. My boyfriend enjoyed the Florida salad (one of his go-tos) and the avocado toast, raving for both! The salad really is light and full of great flavor. I enjoyed the guava fizz drink (yum!) but appreciate the option for bottomless mimosas or Bloody Mary's. What a lovely surprise! I met a friend for lunch who lives over by the parks and was shocked that I had never heard of Plancha before. As part of the Four Seasons complex, the service was impeccable and the atmosphere was elevated without feeling stuffy. This restaurant is right off the golf course, so there were lots of golfers and other folks popping in for a bite before or after their tennis, pickleball or round of golf. The menu has a Cuban theme but there's something for everyone, even folks with special dietary considerations like gluten free, for everyone. I had the club sandwich with tostones and I ate every single bite. It was delicious! We sat outside because the weather was cool and it was such a welcomed, relaxed vibe. This is located near Golden Oak and is in the same building as the golf course shop and facilities for Four Seasons. Parking is complimentary here unlike the hotel where you need validation or will pay valet. (If you need to get to the main hotel building, there is a complimentary shuttle/cart that the restaurant or front desk can call for you. Or you may walk.) The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating that overlooks the golf course. We ate outside due to the nicer weather. Waitstaff were polite and very on top of getting food and drinks out in a timely manner, as well as ensuring the refills on drinks were taken care of, especially on a warm day. I ordered the birria tacos without a side. Presentation was clean. The flavors were on point with great birria tacos I've had before. Not too salty. I loved the salsa verde more than the consommé. However, getting drinks refilled took forever, and it was almost 15 minutes after we asked for the check that we actually got it. Our server was incredibly nice though so I wasn't that upset. We happened to go yesterday on national grilled cheese day, so we got to try two of the grilled cheese specials they created -- a brisket one and a mushroom one. Both were DELICIOUS and came with a bowl of tomato soup. I wish this is not regularly on the menu!! I also LOVE the guacamole starter that they have. We were staying at the Four Seasons. The night before, we looked at restaurants. One of them, the Michelin-star winning Capa, was completely booked. Then we looked at Plancha, also on the property, but they already had closed. Today, we finished packing. We saw we had some time between then and when we were going to leave for the airport. The rest of the party said there wasn't enough time. We will eat at the airport, free food at the airline lounge. But they all already had breakfast, so they didn't understand our hanger. Plus, they all had Michelin star-winning steak and didn't include me. I wasn't going to leave without a delectable meal. We had about an hour and 15 minutes. Would it be enough to go, order, get our food, eat, pay, and return to the hotel? Optimistic me thought we did. My more cautious sister said we didn't. When we asked my daughter, she obviously sided with the cool aunt. And then...A HA! An idea: we can order ahead. I called the number for Plancha, which took me to the hotel's concierge. I explained our predicament, and she said that our request could most probably be accommodated. She transfered me to Plancha. The person who picked up was most polite and pleasant. I explained our situation, and she took our order. She said the table and food would be ready for us. I said that would be perfect. I asked the hotel concierge how to get to Plancha. They said it was a 10 minute walk across the golf course or we could take a golf buggy. We never took a golf buggy before, so the choice was obvious! We took the golf buggy to Plancha. Once we entered the restaurant, I told the lady at the hostess stand that we had ordered ahead. That was all I needed to say. She became quite animated and informed me that our table was ready with waters and the food just then was finished and ready to be served. The space inside was spacious, elegant, and a subdued ambiance. The chairs were comfortable and the tables were a good size. The water was good (if that matters to anyone). Once we sat down, our food came out: we got beef birria tacos, empanadas, and beef quesadillas. All of the food was amazing. Even my daughter, who insisted she wouldn't eat anything, filled her stomach with one of everything (although she ate two pieces of the quesadillas). I usually can't stand corn tortillas, but their tortillas were very delicious. The mouthfeel was pleasant and not too heavy/bulky. Each item's condiments were perfect -- and we used them for everything. As soon as we were done, we got the check. They mentioned how we were in a rush so they wanted to speed things up per our convenience. They even ordered the golf buggy back to the hotel once we paid so it would be ready once we were done and left the restaurant. Various members of the waitstaff checked in on us, refilling our waters. We felt very well taken care of. Every eating establishment is evaluated on the food's taste and its staff's customer service. Other factors also play a part but these are so crucial. And in these factors, Plancha easily and hands down gets 5 stars. I'd give them more stars if possible! I've been told about a great Cuban Sandwich out around in the Disney area, after doing more research I discovered Plancha inside the Tranquilo golf club, which is part of the Four Seasons resort! You don't have to be staying in the resort to go to the restaurant, since the golf club is separated from the resort, you can actually park at the golf club! The restaurant is very open and spacious with a bar, and outside seating which has a great view of the lake. I sat at the bar and the bartender Stephanie was great at explaining the menu and the signature drinks. The Cuban Sandwich was HUGE and came with a side of yucca fries to be dipped in a delicious dip of sofrito aioli. The Cuban was the best I've ever tasted! There were ingredients that set it apart from the rest! I highly advise everyone to come out to Plancha, because I will return to try the rest of the menu! read more

Beautiful view outside by the water and excellent service. We were driven up in a golf cart by one of the valets from the Four Seasons Resort hotel. Good thing because on the way back we chose to walk (although they said they'd come back and get us happily) and were eaten alive by bugs. Our hostess was friendly and took us to sit outside by the water - where no one was currently sitting - we enjoyed a black bean hummus appetizer and some fresh and fluffy Empanadas that literally melted in my mouth - they were delicious. I tried a hibiscus mint tea that was good but just wasn't doing it for me after a day of flying so I swapped it out for generic plain old sweet tea that was delicious. Around this time a gentleman came and sat outside to drink some brandy and smoke a cigar so we moved into the inside area to have our entrees. This was easily and happily accommodated by our server and the hostess. For my entrée I ordered the Mojo Chicken which was served with roasted carrots and a black bean rice side. The chicken was marinated and delicious. A light but filling choice I was very happy with. My boyfriend chose to order the Chorizo Burger (not what it's called but I can't remember the exact name) that was recommended to us by one of the friendly valets called "Big Lou" who we spoke with a few times during our stay. It was served with some large homemade steak fries (our favorite) and my boyfriend loved and raved about it for days after. When our entrees came out the chef actually came out and spoke to us for about five minutes about how some of the food was made, the resort, and our trip. For dessert my boyfriend ordered the Flan and he very much enjoyed it. It was made with some cream cheese so it had a heavier taste than usual flan but it was very fresh and very good. You could tell it was recently made. Our server's name was Eric and he was so friendly. We indicated we were just arrived, staying at the resort, tired and hungry. He took very good care of us, whipping me up some drinks and samples of tea, quickly bringing us appetizers and suggesting things on the menu. He was knowledgeable and made some nice small-talk with us about the resort and made some suggestions for our stay. We actually saw him a few nights later while dining at Ravello and he stopped in to speak with us for a few minutes and ask how we were enjoying our stay and our time at Disney. He was absolutely fantastic and he helped make the experience for us. Overall we spent around $100 for the food items I mentioned so the costs are not astronomical here - but it isn't cheap either. It's the Four Seasons - what do you expect? This little gem is tucked into a clubhouse for the golf course with male and female locker rooms serving as the bathroom for the building which were immaculate, beautifully yet minimally decorated, and had rows of mouthwash and tissues. They made their yucca hash browns without beef for me and the others ate it with the pulled beef. It was a unique and tasty dish...crispy on the outside and soft inside. For my meal, the made a wonderful sandwich on gf bread with black bean hummus, veggies, avocado and an egg. It was fantastic!! Everyone else had various sandwiches and burgers and they all enjoyed their meals. They heard us talking about it being one of the kids' birthdays and they brought out a piece of cake with a candle for him. We did not even have to ask. The restaurant was at the golf club and was quite nice with luxurious washrooms. The staff were very accommodating since we had 3 small active kids with us.
