My parents came to this restaurant and they mentioned it to my husband and I to come here and check it out. We decided to come here on Sunday morning. I was impressed with the planes coming , taking off and especially seeing the helicopter come as well. The Breastfast was good not sure if it was frozen or what. I know I asked aboit the sausage patties and the waitress did say that it was a frozen patty. The bacon was questionable as well , it was just too thin. The inside was nice as well. I wish they had airplane magnets as well as the cups that they sold there. Other then that it was a great time there. read more

Yesterday, my son, my two grandsons, and I went out for our monthly breakfast outing. We decided to try Plane Jane's at the Plymouth airport. My grandson and I arrived about 10 minutes before the others. After waiting a couple of minutes for the hostess, we explained that we were a party of four and that the remaining two members of our group would be arriving within just a few minutes. We were told that we could not be seated until our entire party was present and that we would have to wait outside. Under normal circumstances, I could understand that policy, but the restaurant was nearly empty at the time, with most of the tables available. Seating us a few minutes early would clearly not have affected the restaurant in any way. When I questioned this, the hostess simply replied, "Those are the rules." At that point, we decided to leave and went across the street to Kevin's at the golf course instead. Even though only two of us had arrived at first, Kevin's immediately seated us at a table for four while we waited for the others. My son and grandson arrived a few minutes later, and we ended up having an excellent breakfast and a very pleasant experience. I can't comment on the food at Plane Jane's because we never had the opportunity to try it, but based on our experience, the customer service left a lot to be desired. read more

Wanted to try a new breakfast place while out in the Plymouth area and this place was close and had decent reviews. It was cool that it was at the airport and definitely a different but cool vibe. We were pleasantly treated and it was explained that we order before we sit. The place was spotless and the food smelled good. I ordered the Tex-Mex omelette and my wife got the eggs, bacon, sausage and blueberry pancakes. I also had a cranberry orange muffin which was just ok. The food came out in a decent time but the server forgot my salsa and sour cream and forgot to get my coffee refill when she asked if I wanted one. The coffee was very good by the way. The food was decent but just average. I would like to go back and try the lunch menu and see how that menu fares as the place has a good vibe and the servers are really nice. read more

First of all no matter how busy or not busy it is only one party is allowed inside the doors to order at the counter at a time. So you wait in a lobby for the airport. Really slows down the ordering time. One member of our party wanted to order an omelette but the basic egg with nothing else starts at $12. Add cheese, meat or vegetables and then add toast and home fries and it will be about $21. We ordered ice coffees and they added the cream, so it was too light. On the day we went couldn't order a salad cause they were out of lettuce. Prices are very high compared to other places we go to for breakfast or lunch. The wait to get in is kinda different. You wait outside the restaurant and then one party is admitted at a time. You place your order, pay and then sit down. So make sure you look at a menu while you wait outside their door. The food was delivered quick and was ok. I got the biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs. The eggs were good and the gravy was yummy but the biscuits were from a tube( we all know the brand). That was disappointing. The coffee was good and filled as it emptied. This place was so cool! Breakfast at the airport! The food was delicious. We all got different items so it was a little bit of everything and to be honest...not one complaint. Since my last review, the airport terminal has been completely rebuilt and is a single story building as opposed to an older two story building. The spot for plain Jane is much larger unfortunately, the patio is ground level rather than elevated like the old one was however, is much larger. The food continues to be very good and service is quick do you still order at the counter and then someone delivers the food to your table. There are a few quirks at this place though. The coffee is excellent and I believe is from Speedwell coffee roasters just down the road however refills are stingy. I assume it is left over from Covid however, if there is someone standing at the counter, there is a sign on the door, instructing you to wait outside in the airport lobby as they only want one person in the restaurant at the counter at a time. Lastly, I noticed that the breakfast meat choice for sausage is a patty and there was an up charge of two dollars for links, but that is now five dollars which seems a little steep Aside from these quirks, I still recommend Plane Jane's for a solid breakfast read more

Great little place! Super friendly staff And food was really good. Only downside.. you walk in the door and have to order And pay at the desk. No time to sit and decide what you want. It's odd. We are here for the 1st time, about a month, ago in May. The staff was amazing! They pointed out great specials of the day that we purchased. The food was so yummy and not expensive so its definitely worth coming back. I can't speak to the food, but some of the worst customer service possible! I walked in at 1:19pm when the restaurant was closing at 2pm. The staff immediately informed me that I was not allowed to get breakfast and that the grill was closing in five minutes for lunch. We did not stay and as we were leaving the next group was told they should get their meal to go if they didn't want to feel rushed. Poor customer service in a customer service industry. read more

If you love airplanes and you love hearty breakfast food, you will love this place. Hubby is a big fan of airplanes so why not go order a great breakfast and sit outside and watch all kinds of planes land and take off right in front of you. You order at the counter and then choose a seat and they bring the food right to you. The waitresses were walking around and filling peoples coffee - I just love that. This girl does not like to have her coffee run out! Breakfast food presentation is up there for a simple place like Plane Janes. I ordered French Toast Banana Bread and it came with fresh sliced bananas and whipped cream. It was a special Fathers Day option. We will definitely go back. They also serve lunch so maybe we will try lunch or go for breakfast, watch planes and stay again for lunch!!! read more

We flew into Plymouth municipal airport, intending to go to the wharf, but the Uber ride was $45 each way. Did not seem worth it! We'd been wanting to try this airport cafe too, so easy decision. They use an interesting approach to service. You wait in the airport lobby, and one by one are let in to place your order at the counter. You order and pay, and in our case, we picked a table under an umbrella outside to watch the planes. While waiting for the food I read one Yelp reviewer who said there was a decent amount of food but not a lot. We laughed when we received our enormous platter of food! We both ordered the turkey club and the bread choices included everything one could want. (I had 12 grain, Don had white!) There was a choice of fries or onion rings and I was amazed by the pile of onion rings. I should have stopped eating half way through and brought the rest home; I'm sure I was full at that point but it was all too delicious. The servers bringing our food and replenishing my coffee were competent and friendly. Had we wanted breakfast, there was a full page of options for that and many other tasty selections for lunch. What a great spot for kids to watch the planes takeoff. Go for lunch or breakfast the lunch was amazing and the breakfast looked amazing too. Kids can play on a little plane see-saw thing and there are picnic tables setup. You can hear the pilots talking on the radio before takeoff and landing and the pilots even wave to the miss when they drive by. read more

Food was amazing! The only comment I have is I assume due to lack of staffing I you stand out in the entry, 1 group goes in and orders. They get their drinks and sit. Then next group goes in. The sign they posted says one party at a time in the restaurant. That does not explain it very well. It looks like they are too busy with people standing in lobby so anyone coming to door, looks, sees line and leaves. It looks like there is a long line to be seated . That is not the case. Jaw-dropping rude owner! Terrible experience on my last three visits. 1) Owner saw us walk in and made us wait to order for 20 minutes at the counter to place our order. 2) I Walked in 45 minutes before closing and was told by the staff that they were closing soon and that the stoves had been turned off. The staff displayed complete displeasure with us walking in. Consider closing earlier if you don't want people to walk in after a specific time. 3) I Walked in with my half-finished iced coffee and was yelled at by the owner that no outside drinks were allowed. I expected to be done with my drink before I finished it, and had every intention of ordering another coffee. Don't yell and lecture me with my child in hand while my family and I are here to give business. I cannot comment on the food because we left before ordering. We saw a sign saying something like one party in at a time. We weren't sure what exactly that meant but we saw a group of three golfer type men go in together and walk up to the desk. They were greeted with smiles. We thought maybe the sign was left over from Covid days? Then when we did that (what the golfer men just did) we were berated by the staff that only one person at a time from each party is allowed to come in and order. Plane Jane was adorable! The staff was incredibly friendly and efficient with constant smiles. The restaurant is situated right on Plymouth airport and makes for a nice view while eating breakfast!
