    Chowder

First time here and will be my new spot! Chowder was 10/10. Nothing like it that I've ever tasted and I will be bringing people back for that alone. Entrees were decent, would make different choices next time but everything was done well! Drinks were delicious and service was on point! We loved the outside ambiance and I can't wait to be back.

I sooo tried to like this place, my daughter and some-in-law love it and gave me a gift certificate. Sat inside...place was maybe 1/4 full but me right next to the service entrance and station...grand central station. Appetizer came out quickly and then right behind was dinner and I purposefully waited to order no time to enjoy. Scallops were way overcooked and I guess it was my fault for not paying attention to detail "Who puts Scallops on top of corn kernels"? Don't Order. They gave me 5 tiny scallops...they should have been the appetizer. Called and left a voice mail for a Manager to call. Never heard from anyone.

Been coming here since 2012 and it keeps getting better. Sat outside on a Sunday evening and it was great.

Lobster Pot Pie. You gotta be kidding me. Insanely good. Near perfection!

First time coming here tonight and it's now one of my favorites in New England. In business since 1792! Must be doing something right. That old time tavern feel still holds strong. I had the Lobster Pot Pie - recommended by our bartender - now one of those meals I will reference as a top standard for years to come. My soul is now warmer and my faith in humanity grown stronger. I will be back someday indeed. Oh and they source all their veggies from the vegetable garden out back. Epic spot. Get out there if you're in the area!

I ate here three years ago for historical reasons. The food was okay (3.5 stars) and the ambience is, well, historical! We went back last night and the food BLEW US AWAY. I'm a self-appointed food critic (mybuzzardsbay.com) and I often judge a restaurant by their bread service and their chicken dish - both were great. The star was the Duck - perfectly cooked and the Beet Risotto (blue cheese, mint, pesto) was sublime. My wife is a huge Caesar Salad fan and she said "This is the best Caesar I've ever had!" Why? The crunchies on top, the dressing, and the white anchovies on the side, My Chicken was perfectly seared and moist and the veggies (roasted potatoes, carrots, and baby onions made a perfect autumn celebration feast. We'll be back!

Super cozy dinner spot near the Mirabeau Spa. This is definitely a good spot to eat off property. You need reservations for a Saturday night as the place was packed. I had the steak frites special which was so good.

Incredible ambiance dining outside during these beautiful late summer days. The outdoor bar is now enclosed with fun party lights. Low key music, great service and really good bites. The summer stone fruit salad with grilled shrimp was impeccable. Service was great too. Lovely spot to dine while staying at Mirebeau Inn and Spa!

The restaurant is decorated well, seems clean, and is dark with big windows on two of the walls. Server was okay. He seemed to have a lot of tables, but we were able to get his attention whenever needed. The manager seemed to be floating around the restaurant all night. He checked on us truly as we took our first bite of the first appetizer, then not again. We split the 2 for $50 weeknight special, which was a good deal. The elote dip was okay. It came out luke warm and honestly tasted like a can of creamed corn. We both agreed that warmer and with a little kick/spice would have been better. I can't remember what the second app was, but it was a fried beef and potato appetizer. It was very tasty, but very oily. We were wiping our hands between each bite. The Arroz Chaufa was very tasty and a good size. Unfortunately the plantains that came with it were extremely salty. Cocktails I tried the En Claro and Maldiablo. The En Claro was okay, I expected it to be sweeter than it ended up being. Maldiablo was very tasty and I would drink again. My husband got the sangria that had not been mixed prior to serving, so the first sip was all brandy and otherwise just okay. Overall the food was good but the drink prices seemed steep. $50 for two people to eat was a good price, but we spent just as much in 3 drinks and really only truly enjoyed one of the three.

I reached out to them months ago to explore using them for the welcome party for my wedding. After dozens of calls, emails, instagram messages AND even going IN-PERSON to speak to someone, their event organizer never responded. We followed up numerous times and not once, did we get a formal follow-up. It look messages on 3 different social media channels for me to finally get an answer. When we did, the organizer ghosted us AGAIN! When I followed up with her (now having her phone number) we set a date to call. She could not figure out how to send me the event details, she did not have very many answers to our questions - we got a ton of, "I need to ask the owner". She promised to give us an update to our questions, and NOTHING. The kicker is that she even ignored my follow up text asking for an update. She ended up texting me accidentally - the text was to her coworker asking them if they can let her inside because she was locked out!! So incredibly unprofessional, they do not seem to care for our business even though we were so excited to potentially have our event there. Would not recommend - try back maybe in a couple years when they can get better customer service and more organized.

We parked at the municipal lot. Not too expensive, but honestly, America's Hometown and the town price gouges you. Enter either elevator or four stories of stairs. I recommend bringing a sweater or sweatshirt if you are dining outside. As the sun started to set, the temperature dropped and it was a bit uncomfortably cool. No propane heaters too. Appetizers: I had the unstuffed quahogs... very good, but honestly they were not oven warmed, but more in the cold spectrum. Tasty, but should have come out piping hot. The place was busy, as we had a six o'clock seating; however, we had to wait an hour after the appetizers until we got our entrees. I had the lobster roll, not bad at all, but it came with French Fries and there was no substitution. My bride had the Vegan Bowl and she liked it too. We were at the point to just get it all down our gullets and get the heck out of there. Service was nice and pleasant, but they pushed the drinks and it was a long wait. We left just after eight. I'm indifferent about this place. Might give them another try, but probably not. Between the waiting, cooling temperatures, and kids running around like it was a Chucky Cheese... meh, I could find better. Price-wise it was ok. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

I would check and make sure there are no events prior to going if you have your heart set on outdoor dinning. I really enjoyed my meal. Got the shrimp app and steak tips for my main. This would be a great place for a nice dinner or occasion, but I would skip for more casual dining

The brewery is right on the beach, so you have stunning oceanfront views from basically every seat. There's a bunch of outdoor seating (which is kind of shaded, but was still sooo hot in July), a really cool tap room upstairs, and one of the best brewery merch stores I've seen on the ground floor. We visited on 4th of July weekend, so the minimal parking next the brewery was totally full. Luckily, there's an overflow lot with a shuttle van about 5 minutes down the road. It was pretty tricky to find however, so be sure to ask the staff in the on-site parking lot for specific directions if you need to get there. They serve all the same great beer you expect from Tree House, plus they have a nice little cocktail bar outside, so there's something for everyone. I really liked the Cape Hound and the Rum Punch. They also have great pizzas and lobster rolls, which are a bit pricey but worth the splurge in my opinion. You can also pick up cans to go here, and because Tree House doesn't distribute otherwise, that's a huge win for any locals in the area. Great spot to visit on your trip to Cape Cod. We'll be back!
