This restaurant is super easy to find, with plenty of parking. We walked in, and waited to be seated while they cleared a table. The bar was full - and would guess with regulars, as they were all chatting. The seating to the left of the bar is all booth seating - we had one on the window side which was nice. Larry, our server, was awesome. Very warm greeting, asked what questions we had, then took our drink order. My cosmo was delicious (love when they give you the rocks), and the drink, and our meals were very reasonably priced. For dinner, I had the haddock and whole belly clam special - the fish does not come baked as pictured, I asked for that instead of having everything fried. We have always enjoyed their dinners as our go to week night choice. This was our first time for breakfast and we were very glad we came. Great corned beef hash,omelets and pancakes. 2 of us arrived on a Wednesday morning around 10 and there were plenty of seats available. SERVICE: Excellent. Tracy is friendly and attentive. ATMOSPHERE: Warm, fun, definitely a local charm vibe. Monthly a group of folks all meet here with their antique cars, which were cool to see in the lot. Everyone that works here has a lot of energy and sense of humor. It is also very clean inside. BAR: Seats are comfy, but the actual bar could use to be a little deeper as any average or tall person's knee's touch the bar wall or else they have to sit a little sideways. They do have a full bar. FOOD: Egg omelet and home fries had fresh ingredients, but everything could use some flavor. Salt, at a minimum. I called to order 4 dinners for Father's Day. I'm coming from out of town wanted to pick them up on my way to dads home. I called at around 10:30 asking if I could order 4 dinners meals later was told you have to call back at 12:00 noon. Ok I was good with that I understand they were not ready for dinner meals. Just had the most amazing lobster roll! It was served with just a dab of mayonnaise and lettuce on a buttered roll. All claw meat! The french fries were perfect. The onion rings were delicious. Lunch always great. Catering service this weekend was OUTSTANDING! We had a need for brunch for 80 people for the day after a wedding. Marty and Melissa arraigned to come in early on a Sunday and freshly cook everything we needed! Everything tasted great, portions were very generous. Normally, Marshland is consistently good, VERY PRICEY, but good. However, last weekend, we ordered one of their specials, "Ham + Cheese Sandwich with Chicken Noodle Soup." The sandwich came with only cheese and no ham . . . and when I commented to the waitress/manager, Jen, she said she would tell the chef. Well, we never got the missing ham, nor did our bill reflect its absence. I was extremely disappointed by this, especially, since we are regular weekly customers. Came here for the first time today, for breakfast. Nice, homey ambiance. We were seated and attended to quickly. Lots of great choices, went with an omelet with fresh mushrooms, tomatoes and cheese. A delightful experience. Our waitress Heather was fantastic and treated us like regulars. The food was great too, especially the stuffed quahog, which lived up to its billing. The clam chowder was very creamy and if you go on Thursday or Sunday, order the turkey dinner. The butternut squash is a must have on the turkey dinner: it's like pie on your plate. Went there this evening food was absolutely wonderful except for our waitress she was either very overwhelmed or an experienced first my soup came to the table and it was barely warm and I waited and waited for her to come back to the table and check on things so I could ask her to have it heated up more and she never came back my friend kept asking for some more hot water for his tea and she never brought it to him we had to ask her three times when she went by to go to other tables when she finally came back to our table I asked her for some to-go boxes to take the rest of my meal and my soup that I never touched because it was cold she proceeded to ask if we wanted dessert I said I wanted a grape nut custard putting and she asked me if I wanted it heated or cold and I said cold and it came back heated at this point we were pretty fed up with everything I ate the grape nut custard pudding the way it was and to boot I found a whole spice clove in my pudding and almost broke a tooth on it we got our bill and paid and left I'm not sure I'll ever go back to that place again read more

This place is an absolute hidden gem! Stumbled upon it while out for a drive and was not disappointed. Their quahogs are enough for two they are so large. The roasted turkey dinner on special was outstanding, everything was made from scratch and you can tell! The service was fast, friendly and attentive. All desserts are also made from scratch. Not a big breakfast food person but the lobster omelet was really really good(make your own with onions peppers asparagus and swiss). Staff was very friendly. You may want to let them know to take it easy with the butter on the toast unless you really like butter. But the omelet once again was great and my wife said her waffle was great. This is a wonderful restaurant. The food is fresh and delicious. The portions are extremely generous. It is always busy even during the off season which is a sign for the tourist the we locals love this spot. I placed a large take out order on a busy Friday night and when I inquired as to whether lobster Mac & Cheese was on the menu that day they graciously offered to make it to order for me. It was a gesture over and above and as always, well worth the price - large bites of lobster in every bite. Their salads at lunchtime are not to be overlooked!
