Pleasantly surprised to find this was an adequate/average PF. I say this because visits I've made to almost every other place while I've been staying (temporarily) in this area...has been a disaster at best. Clean workout floor, machines, etc, but the men's locker room is a dump. So...why 3 Stars??? Yesterday I observed two separate individuals walking around with phone stands video-recording (or broadcasting) themselves while working out. In one case, placing the phone on the treadmill next to them tying up 2 treadmills. In the other case, broadcasting live during a weight workout, obviously unnerving the people around them. One TV in the cardio area has been frozen on David Boreanaz's face for DAYS Yes, I risk sounding like a Karen, but all I really care about is...doesn't PF have a no-recording, no-photography rule? read more

Staff are always friendly and greet you upon arrival. I go early in the morning and there is usually not a large crowd. I love that it is 24 hours though. Lots of cardio equipment. There are sectioned rooms like the ab + stretch room and the 30 minute workout. Good equipment and usually pretty clean. I wish they had a sauna! read more

Love this location. Staff is welcoming when arriving and wishes you a good day when leaving. Love the atmosphere and love that no one bothers you unless you ask. Clean (bathroom and ladies locker room) all the times I go. Really Happy being a member. read more

A decent size fitness center, that doesn't have a intimidating atmosphere. The equipment is well maintained and organized. I enjoyed the large tv monitors, that you can watch and listen to if you have headphones. So the noise level for a gym is pretty low. They have massage beds/chairs, as well as a full body tanning experience machine. All available to you but for a extra charge. But if you sign up for their black card pass, these extra features are all available to you for free. For $22 per month that is a pretty good deal, especially since you can bring a friend for free. There are so many other perks for having this pass compared to the basic membership. You definitely have to check it out. read more

I can't say enough about my experience at this Planet Fitness. I work out at Equinox in LA and I have to say this club could show them a few things. FIrst and most importantly is the Manager Nicholas Zimmerman. He is an impressive person and is attentive and respectful. Looks like he would be a great trainer too! I was visiting from LA and needed a club to work out at for the week. Nick made me feel welcomed and motivate to enjoy such a clean and well run Finess center. Great work! read more

these crooks make canceling a membership next to impossible if you move out of state, make sure to cancel your membership in person if you are moving or you will be paying for it for ever. I will never set foot in a planet fitness again ,and I will tell anyone that will listen about my experience so they do not make the same mistake , what a joke its been over 4 months now since I jump threw their hoops to cancel my membership and I am still being billed. read more

Visited this gym while on vacation. This is hands down the nicest Planet Fitness I've been too. It is enormous, over 100 cardio machines, and tons of resistance machines spaced out so there is always a machine available. The bathrooms were impeccably clean and the staff were friendly. Will definitely return to this location on my next trip to Buffalo. read more

I love planet fitness and the judgement free zone. They have a nice vibe when you go in and the staff are friendly, courteous and happy to show you around. The memberships are pretty reasonable and I like the free fitness instruction that comes with the membership. Overall the gym is pretty clean and there is plenty of equipment for you to use as well. When they opened back up after covid I could not goto the gym because I couldn't wear a mask so I got a note from my doctor like they asked and brought it into the gym so they could cancel my membership. I was assured it was canceled and never though twice about it,, That was about 13 months ago . I am still listed as a active member and have been being billed this entire time. When I called up to ask for my money back Kevin the "manager " basically laughed it off and said there was nothing he could do and I would have to email the regional manager, he proceeded to give me a fake email address for Mike the regional manager. Kevin then said he would cancel my membership over the phone as a favor because they usually don't do that. Here we are few days later and my membership is still not canceled. This location is a absolute joke with children at the helm. Stay away from these clowns. read more

I have since moved on to other planet fitness locations and they are refresh breath of Clean and Sanitized equipement. They care about the health and safety of their customers. Terrible customer service. I've been here several times, today I was given a hard time due to this location not being my "home gym"; I also pay for another membership which is the upgraded membership. The reason for doing so is because my home isn't ready in Williamsville and my husband and I are renting in the Cheektowaga area. We both have different schedules, so it was easier to just get two. I was told in Williamsville, that we could both use the upgraded membership at any location, that the account was notated, and that we could cancel at any time without penalty. Terms worked for the both of us as our current circumstances are temporary. Nick was extremely nasty towards me this morning, literally wasted 15 minutes of my time when all I wanted to do was workout, it wasn't like I didn't have a membership I have TWO! He told me that' I couldn't work out there. Lol pathetic. On my way to Williamsville, gym is much cleaner and the service is better there anyway read more

I was really excited to visit the Planet Fitness while spending a week with family just across the border in PA. I have a membership in a network that allows me to access different national chain and independent local gyms, and the pass has worked really well so far. Unfortunately, my good luck ended when I tried to use my pass at this Planet Fitness location. Both Planet Fitness and this specific location are listed within my network, so that's why I drove some distance to work out there. But when I talked with the woman at the front desk, she took a quick look at my pass and then started rattling off "membership" options for me to gain access to the gym. To be honest, this was so unlike any of the other experiences I'd had (from CO to CA) that I was confused and not paying attention. So I repeated that I just wanted to access the gym one or two days for a one week period, and that I was expecting to get free access since I had already pay a monthly fee for my network membership. She again started rattling off my options for "joining" - the least expensive of which was something close to $10! That doesn't sound like a lot but any amount is a ridiculous amount for a gym to ask when it's participating in a network and promoting its location as an in-network, free option. I felt like the desk person was definitely out of touch and maybe even a little condescending by just rattling off a bunch of options and dollar amounts. I just walked out and immediately drove to the Anytime Fitness a few miles away. I walked in, was welcomed by two smiling employees at the front office, got a quick green light to work out and some details on the gym, was able to find all the equipment I wanted, and had a great workout with the staff continuing to show a welcoming and helpful spirit the whole time I was at this spotless gym (one of the employees even vacuumed the ceiling lights while I was there!) So shop carefully when you're looking for gym options. read more
