The membership price is reasonable considering all of the facilities. However, it's not reasonable if you don't use all the facilities! Sometimes, I feel like I'm paying for some stuff I'm never interested in using - like the racketball rooms, the spa, yoga classes, dance classes, etc. There's another gym that's like 2 minutes away from me and costs like 50% of World Gate but they don't have a sauna which is essential to me. The facilities that I use regularly are the weight room, the sauna, and showers. I do like having the ability to swim sometimes if I want to. World Gate has a lot of options. I don't enjoy the price I'm paying but I also do not see another gym with all my non-essentials at a better price so I continue to go here. What's missing though is the actual cold plunges - not cryotherapy chairs. If they can manage that, I'd not be complaining about my membership price. I'd have everything I need.

A few days ago, my husband received an email accusing him of taking a club towel home and saying he would be charged for it. He was extremely upset by this accusation because he absolutely did not take a towel. When he called the club, Assistant Manager Allan repeatedly told him that "the system is broken." If the system is known to be broken, how can the club accuse a longtime member of taking a towel and demand payment based on that same system? What is even more disappointing is that no one apologized. Allan never apologized, and the manager did not even speak with my husband to acknowledge the mistake or the stress and embarrassment it caused. After 22 years of membership, we expected much more professionalism and respect. A broken system is one problem; accusing a loyal member because of that broken system and then failing to apologize is another.

I truly hope the members are not paying the same price as we do in Clinton. It feels like it was an old gym that OneLife came and bought. I went midday and it was not crowded. They have all of the machines you would need but about half of the machines look like they were from the 90s. The trainer was also very helpful in assisting us with dedicating one lane of the track to the applicants. I would love to work out here. I didn't do a full tour, but I never met a gym I didn't like! There was plenty of equipment and again, the indoor track is a plus. I saw women in what appeared to be an aerobics class and I must say, that room is huge! There's plenty of space for anybody who wants to join a class. It's also very bright and airy. I see that they also have childcare which is huge! I saw them playing outside. You can bring a snack (without peanuts) and drinks to make the transition easier. I guess I've seen some parents bring a meal like pizza. As others have said it's not as premium of an experience as Lifetime or Worldgate but it has a pleasant neighborly feel. Really wish the pool had a bigger leisure area for kids. There was a guy actively mopping the locker rooms and wiping stuff down, and I saw other staff proactively wiping equipment down. 5/5 Equipment Availability & Condition: Good range of weights and equipment, though some cables seem to be 2:1 ratio and kettlebells, EZ bars, etc., don't go up very high. They have pole classes and Lyra and fabric - super fun! They may have more, but those are the ones I've seen and considered. Since I'm relatively new to aerial arts, I've only taken a few classes here for Lyra and fabrics, but I have loved the classes. The class size is 6 or fewer, so your instructor has plenty of time to help you if you're lost, confused or, you know, stuck in the air. The instructors are talented individuals who take the time to model the skills and are adept at figuring out how to help you see the skills from different perspectives. They change cues and point out different muscles, movements and positions to cater to the student. There are mirrors in the front of the aerial studio, so, you can see what you're doing. It is helpful, but it can be a little daunting. I've never had a problem finding parking here. The cost is affordable as far as aerials arts classes are priced. There are options for class packages if you are interested in going regularly. Have fun, it's a blast!

I took some of the beginner pole dancing classes and loved them so much I signed up for an 8-week session. I'm even trying to find a day to bring in all my friends.
