This gym meets my needs, but I've been coming here since November and I've noticed the staff doesn't seem very engaged with maintaining the facility. They often walk around on their phones and overlook the weights that need to be re-racked after being used by members who neglected to put them away. On August 21, I tried to enroll my daughter at the Corona Planet Fitness gym, but they never told me that, since my daughter was a minor, she always had to be accompanied by an adult. 2ND REVIEW if I could no stars I would. It's been a whole damn week with no weight pins for the machines. People are stealing them. Ridiculous- I asked the manager when are they order some. They said it's coming!! - let's see how long it's going to take - I complain that it's a mess they say they will clean it It's so much fake promises - just such an inconvenience- Managers do not do anything to make this place better. It's a planet fitness, not clean. It's 6am the bathroom is filthy. The cardio is not all reset. Decent otherwise.

Out of all the planet fitness I have visited this is by far my favorite. It's not too crowded and it's clean. It has plenty of treadmills and ellipticals. Never had an issue getting a machine. Planet Fitness rocks! My husband has access to all locations so we usually try to take advantage by visiting a different location at least once a month. The Hialeah PF is closest to us so we frequent that location the most. The gym is clean and the members are in their own world. Gotta love the "No gymtimidation" rule haha. I've got to say that the vibe in the gym is always focused on getting fit, not showing off. Why is it so damn hot in here???? A/C is off, and big ceiling fans are all off. Why??? Saving money??? Aside from that and some lunks ego lifting, it's a well equipped gym. I wouldn't even recommend anyone to use this gym for free. Canceling your policy is sublimely stupid. You have to go in person to the original place where you originally subscribed and make sure to cancel before the 10th of the month because they will charge you for the month again. The mere idea that you have to go in person and that no one can help you seems illogical to me. read more

This is one of the worst PF facilities I've ever visited, now this is due to the facility and it's patrons (club goers) not the staff, I feel bad for the staff that has to work here and pick up after every single individual who doesn't know either how to follow directions or they're illiterate. I came here while on vacation and had forgotten my card, the front desk staff was friendly and very helpful, so they deserve a 4, the facility in the other hand, it's not well kept, dirty equipment, weights left scattered all over the floor and links ALL OVER, seriously why have a LUNK alarm if you're not going to use it, as far as I know it's not for decoration, anyways as I digress, folks please learn how to put back wights and wipe after you use the equipment, you don't have a maid after you at the gym and you're not at home where you mom can just clean after you! read more

And I found Danny at the front desk , he.was very polite and informative even the fact that he was very busy he managed to help me. I found what I called well trained employees, I am in sales, customer services, and as business owner , the first impression is super important. This location is always packed and the women's bathroom always smells like farts. It seems they add some cleaning product or something that smells horrible every time I enter the locker room/bathroom. Other than that it's a good and big enough gym to workout. read more

My favorite Planet Fitness location is still Westchester! This one isn't bad if you go early in the morning. It's really packed at all other times. They don't enforce parking like the Westchester location (display your Planet Fitness bumper sticker on the dash). Plenty of parking since it's located within a major shopping center (neighboring businesses such as Burlington Coat Factory). This gym is located in the area they call "Palm Springs Mile" (east of the the 49th Street Hooters). During the week this Planet Fitness location is open 24 Hours. Checking in is very quick and simple. The staff here is somewhat friendly. The bathrooms are clean which is great. Ok, when it's packed it will be difficult to work out, when it's not packed then you'll have a great gym session. This is my last resort Planet Fitness and I always try to visit early in the mornings on the weekends when all their members are sleeping. read more

Depending the time you come I think will give you your opinion, if you come in the afternoon there's barely people here. The machines are great, the staff is fine. I visited this location while on vacation and there's nothing special to it. The staff existed but didn't make their presence known at all. The space is well kept and has a good flow and everything seems clean. The link alarm kept going off every other 5 minutes with everyone in the gym wondering why because there was nothing to warrant it. The usually go to the Westchester location but the times I've come here haven't been bad. I also try to come OUT of peak hours, so maybe that's why I find it totally doable. This location is one of the worst locations I've been to, and it's disappointing because it's the closest one to me. I want to start off and say they have nothing but little kids working here, and I've had more than 1 incident where the employees harassed me. The first time I was working out and one of the employees made a gross and really inappropriate comment about my features. The second time I was also working out when the employees came and disrupted my workout just to be rude in my face. This establishment is disgusting. And I've kept going just because it's the closest location to me, but the last straw was when I walked in and all 3 employees in the lobby were wearing nose pore strips. It's like they were playing spa day, and did not care that they were at WORK. Does no one supervise these kids? Do they not have cameras? How are these little kids still working there? I hate this planet fitness its depressing. 1. i have to go up and down super long stairs to get to the gym and the elevator takes 5 minutes just to open the door and 30 seconds to go up and down and its only 2 floors in the building. 2. the gym is way too dark for me. its like being in a room or jail cell without a window only artificial white lights it feels depressing. 3. theres plenty of cardio machines thats the good thing but it depression working the machine in that dark place. i feel like a hamster running and running nowhere in a box with no sunlight. 4. the machines suck THEY SUCK. they are machines only a woman who wants a lean patiete body would use. there are no weights or machine to build muscle for real men. conclusion: its a dark, gloomy place in the second floor with shitty machine and barely no free weights. This place is so crowded, it ain't even funny. And, it's Reffy as fuck! It's so crowded that people just stand around waiting for the next machine to become available. They only have one butterfly machine! It usually has a group of people standing around waiting to use it. If you like to wait for equipment, then by all means this is the gym for you. Oh! And the ceiling has a leak that drips onto the stairs. When it rains, they put a bucket in the middle of the stairwell to catch the rain that's falling indoors. The entire staircase becomes a hazard. And they also have one step that they fixed with a piece of plywood. [[They fixed the ceiling and the step]]. #SUCKS read more

I just switched my membership to this gym from LA fitness because it is very close to my home and some of my friends that come here have recommended it to me, i have to say iam not the type to leave bad reviews especially in these unprecedented times but i have had a couple horrible experiences with employee Ana Hernandez that to me are just unacceptable in multiple occasions she has been just plain rude and not willing to understanding to me AND my wife as well as making inappropriate comments, i have working out for many years and attending many different gyms and never have i had this experience with any employee. I am extremely upset and will be canceling my membership immediately. Do not recommend this gym to anyone when employees are allowed to be this disrespectful to paying members. read more
