Alan is amazing running the service department and making sure that the car is kept running perfectly...not that these cars really ever need anything other than the obligatory normal maintenance. The last salesperson was fabulous. Pierre was knowledgeable and none of that crazy high pressure that you get at other dealerships. He was interested in getting me in a car that would make me happy. Avoid at all costs. This business sent out a phony promotion by mail misleading people to believe that they won cash, which they need to come to the store to claim, when in reality the "prize" was a $10 pair of headphones. The terms of the promotion, which specify that the alignment of winning symbols has no connection to the winning prize, were completely buried in the fine print on the BACK of the promotion, and there was no clarification when I called in ahead of time. While the initial representative whom I spoke to was understanding about the situation, I then spoke to an individual named Ed who was completely rude, unapologetic, and demeaning. I would not suggest purchasing the GAP policy from this company. Although I know the salesman commission from purchasing the policy. When you it off early, you go through tremendous trouble trying to get the policy canceled. I paid off my policy on 3/19/2026, on 04/08/2026 I contacted Jamin Glenn at planet Mitsubishi gave him all the information he requested to start the process of canceling my gap policy. Waited several weeks to my surprise after contacting company. They never received a request for the cancellation of the policy. I initiated cancellation of the policy myself online, and Mr. stopped communication with me completely. never mind you this was a $30,000 vehicle that I paid off Earl-- five years early. This company has no loyalty to its customers at all. READ THIS: DO NOT TRUST THIS BUSINESS! This dealership lies and says whatever they can to try to get your business. I originally got mail from them that was part of their "Pull and Match" event for Oct 1-11. It said I had won $100 cash. I was already skeptic because chances are it comes with a cost, like with a purchase of a call or something. I said why not, so I called them and spoke to a lady on the phone. She verified the Prize Validation Code and told me that there was not any purchase needed for the $100. In my head, 2 things popped up: (1) I would get the prize and someone would try to sell me a car to try and get my business, or (2) I would get the prize in hopes that I have a good experience and would come back to them to buy a car. So, I drove 42 minutes to the dealership and thought it could be a fun adventure with my family. I was planning to purchase a car within the next two years and if my experience went well, I was going to purchase one from here. However, when I arrived with my wife and my baby, they said that I actually didn't win... Even though the lady on the phone said I did and was clear that I could pick up the prize without a purchase. They showed me a board of the prizes and said my code didn't match the board. This wasn't just a waste of a trip, but it was very deceptive. This violates the Federal Trade Commission Act (15 U.S.C § 45) - Section 5 since they verified I won the cash prize and verbally said no purchase was necessary. Since they refused to honor and also tried to pursue selling me a car, it fits the FTC's definition of bait-and-switch tactics and deceptive advertising. Not entirely sure if I want to go through the hassle of legal action, but I would strongly discourage doing business with this dealership. If anyone receives any mail from this location saying they've won anything, don't even bother making the trip. Or do, and have the same experience as me. I can't even imagine what lies they will come up with if you do plan on buying a vehicle from them. Also, expect a rep to walk to your car as you're pulling in and wait several minutes a few feet from their car pretending they're on their phone in order to greet you. I was approached as I was trying to get my baby out of the car seat and felt unsafe, so I stepped in and had my wife take my son out of the car seat. I plan on checking every so often to see if they will remove this review since this is a negative review and often dealerships will delete bad reviews. Be cautious when attempting to do business here. If you are about to close on a car here, I would get their quote in writing and check other dealerships in the area for price comparisons. Chances are, they are going to sell you a car at the highest possible price with deceptive tactics and say you are probably getting a steal. It never hurts to have several other opinions from other dealerships since buying a car is a big purchase for most households. Best of luck to anyone reading this. read more

They are a horrible company. Who will sell you anything to get money in their pockets. My car was totaled in January, I went by to get my gap claim information in March. I call and have called multiple times and I get ignored. When they do answer they take a message for lady in charge of GAP insurance and she never returns my calls or update me. It's 3 months out and nothing has been done. Each month it reports on my credit as a missed car note because they fail to do their jobs. Their excuse was we don't have that gap company anymore or it take weeks to process. It's been 12 weeks with no update from them. This issue should've been resolved. The lack of urgency is very upsetting and this is effecting my credit score and hindering me. read more

I was on a short deadline to purchase a car for my son, so I negotiated the "out the door" price for a used vehicle over the phone. Made clear that we were agreeing on a final price and was told "we can do that". I drove to the dealership the next day and they tried to increase the price by hundreds of dollars. I walked out and would never do business with this dealership in the future. Buyer DEFINITELY beware!! Say what you mean and mean what you say is fundamental to ethical behavior. I went to visit planet Mitsubishi as my starting point to looking for cars that I was starting thinking in a possibility of trade my payed off Mitsubishi outlander sport 2015. Once I got there, I saw the prices of new cars are really high nowadays, them I saw a Mitsubishi mirage, small car with features that I was looking for, and it was in a range budget that interested me. I had a test drive, and I thought I could see how it financially appealed to me, here is the thing that wasn't clear! The car tag price was $19,565.00, minus my car $7,200 = 12.365! That's my thoughts, I could round paying cash to round a financing around $10,000! In my mind it was perfect for me. I still don't understand how my total sale price/ the total cost of my purchase including my down payment of $7,200 is $30,102.00! I am really upset and with the feeling I was ripped off! I sat down with sales manager, days later to try to understand what happened, at this time I was upset thinking my total was $17,000,00 and he told me I was paying 17,895.67 , and I was enrolled in car service program, without my consent, that was covering like insurance, if I had a mechanical problem, I left the store believing it, but then I got a bank letter with the truth! My total sale price jumped from $19,565.00 to $30,102.00. How can a decent company do an outrage of such proportion and think it's ok? Why it wasn't showed to me at the act of the deal, I trusted and I sign a blank iPad, because they said they are trying a new system, and what I was signing in paper was the same on tablet. In any moment I saw that I was paying $30,102.00 for a car valued less than $20,000.00. According to salesman my APR was 6%, it ended up at 8.4%, some how it changed and I wasn't informed! So let's be clear here, I am not happy, no one would be happy with a wrong deal like this. This is how Planet Mitsubishi does business, reviewing this place is my willingness to help out people to be aware of wrongdoing, and refrain themselves to fall in a trap like l did. Salespeople don't need to be so eager for sale, and forget about honesty, things like financing need to be explained, it is a very important matter to anyone, once a customer lose trust, it's hard to get it back, it's better to be crystal clear on event of selling a car, because a returning customer is a valued achievement. read more

I own a 2019 outlander Sport and back in august had the catalytic converter stolen, so I had my vehicle towed to the dealership to be fixed but due to the widespread theft going on it would probably be a while for my car to be fixed, I was told to contact the Mitsubishi corp office in California to expedite the part, but dealing with the dealership has been a headache, cause the service manager to guess his name is Tyler told me it would take about 8 months, I am paying for a vehicle that I cannot drive anymore, tried to trade the vehicle for an upgrade has been unsuccessful I feel the dealership should just buy back the outlander sport and give me the 2022 outlander. read more

We saw a car on line to buy for our daughter. Made an appt. to see the car. She went to the dealership and sit there for almost 2 hours they kept saying the car was on the way back to the dealership. She finally left. They called and said the car was there being detailed. So we went back after 5pm to see the car. Wrong vehicle was shown to us. Somehow I felt worried because they had no customers and about 10 vehicles on the lot so you should be able to keep up with the inventory. The owner had drove the vehicle home. We tried to wait for that vehicle as someone said he was coming back with it. After 30 minutes they asked my daughter to go drive the vehicle back from the owners house. She went with the Salesman to drive it back and called to tell us that they never made it because someone said that it would be delivered to the dealership at 8 pm. We left and they called to schedule her an appt the next morning. We gave them one more chance. She liked the vehicle but the mileage went from 5000 to 8000 within that time frame and they would not give us a discount. The service is very bad and just as everyone said money hungry. Yes everyone is looking for a deal but most of all Customer service means a lot. They didn't deserve our business or money. read more

I've seen cars available for sale come back within days with problems that you'd assume that no reputable dealership would allow. The service department is the most combative I've ever seen! Go here if you want to sit around for hours on end with a probability that you'll still have to keep coming back over and over until your service has been met. Miserly, dishonest salesman. Avoid at all costs! My catalytic converter was stolen so off it went to Planet Mitsubishi. As I now work from home and rarely drive, I called to discuss selling the car to them. It had been a couple of weeks and there was no date as to when a new converter would come in. I spoke to Harvey in sales. We discussed an offer after he looked at it in their service department. I agreed to the quote because, as I told him, selling it right then would mean 1) not having to make the next month's payment, 2) not having to renew the registration due in a few weeks and 3) being able to drop the insurance down to just the older POS I had. All was well, until it wasn't. They would not complete the purchase until my insurance finished paying for the converter. And I had to keep the insurance on until they paid in full. Well, by that time the next payment was past due. When I called Harvey to tell him that I had made the payment and that the agreement needed to reflect that, he said that the car was theirs and that they weren't going to do anything about the payment I had made. I also told him I had made an insurance payment, he laughed and said why didn't you cancel the insurance? I said he had told me not to do so. Harvey became very rude and implied, by laughing, that he didn't believe I had made the payment and inferred that I was stupid for having done so. Here's a business that deals with people with dented credit all the time. They advertise that they have financing for different credit levels. So why then, would Harvey (a "salesman") expect me to damage MY credit by failing to make a payment? BTW, it's time for ANOTHER payment and again, Harvey expects me to miss what would be the 2nd payment. At the rate I was going, and not having seen anything for my effort, I said just repair the car and we can drop the deal. Of course, Harvey (who seems to be very interested in impressing his manager, Chris Justice) doesn't appear to care about the effects a 9.1% inflation has on people. I don't believe most people can afford to continue to pay for a car sitting at Planet Mitsubishi. To add insult to injury, Harvey had the nerve to call me to say I HAD to come in and sign for a new payoff because the old one had expired. I said the new one would reflect my payment. He said, "the payoff isn't going to change that much". Besides, he said, since I had already agreed to have them pay off the loan, it didn't matter if it changed because what we had agreed upon was all I was getting. They are going to make about $5k on the sale of that car (if they haven't already sold it) and they are so cheap that they would begrudge me a fair deal. There are no words to convey have dishonest and miserly Planet Mitsubishi, in general, and Harvey in particular are. I learned the hard way, that Harvey only gave me his "personal" cell # (so I could always reach him), to bypass the dealer's business phone which records calls. He could say anything, promise anything and never own up it as it wasn't recorded. Not only do I think it is unwise to purchase a car from them, but my experience is also that it is unwise to even set foot in that place!! read more

I made the mistake of taking my car to the dealer to have my engine replaced. I move to NC From Ga and I no Idea of what I was in for with this dealership. First, they had me waiting for about a week, saying that they were working on my car but wasn't. It was blamed on a manager over the maintenance shop, who was no longer with them, put the wrong size engine in my SUV. When I did pick up my car, it was dirty from grease on the hood and the dash. Also had empty water bottles left on the floor. Didn't put paper mats on seat or the floor. The car wouldn't crank, they had to give it a jump. By the time I get to the highway the car started shaking and the engine light comes on. A week later the fan belt is making noise like I had birds under the hood. They tried to tell me that the weather was making the belt sound like that. I found bolts that were missing. I was told it didn't need the bolts. Complete rip off. Tried to contact the owner repeatedly. They never returned my call. After going back and forth to the dealer, I stop wasting my time. My son just bought his first car From these guys on 3 days ago, put a nice down payment on a low mileage 2019 Hyundai. They told him they would detail the car -they did not, they told him they would change the oil- they did not, the oil filter was corroded and on day three the check engine light came on and oil was leaking. Worst experience ever with any business. Entered the dealership around noon to test drive a truck I was looking at through their website. After making my mind up to buy the truck I was made to wait until 10 pm to finalize the deal with Cal Wilhelm..which was a great tactic, as I was so tired I didn't notice they had tacked $5000 worth of warranties onto the back end of the deal. I asked this man countless times to explain where the extra $ was going- he just kept shrugging his shoulders. It's embarrassing, but it took months to figure out what they had done. This was my first buying experience alone and I was nervous having heard stories from friends about how dealerships try to bully and over price their cars.
