    Chile Garden Burger
    Ash V.

HAD SOME CELEBRATORY FOOD TODAY to congratulate myself on passing my drivers test!! (**)(**)!! I ordered The Chile Garden Burger with add-ons of avocado, vegan impossible chili, and caramelized onions. I also got Sweet Potatoe Fries, and 6 piece vegan nuggets. Delicious! The burger was pretty dam good. The "chili", "bacon", and bun were my favorite parts. Soft, "buttery" bread with great "meats". The patty though was salty. Not TOO salty, but it was definitely noticeable. The S.P fries were crispy and def gave flavor. Very yummy and the condiments added taste. I didn't NEED the sweet ketchup and vegan ranch, but they were great sidepieces. Lastly, the nuggets. I necessarily don't go for vegan nuggets because chicken nuggets have never been my go to food, but they were actually pretty on-point. They tasted amazing by themselves and even better when I ate them together with the sweet potato fries and condiments. Overall, my food really hit the spot, but due to the saltiness of the burger, it didn't earn that 5 star rating in my book. But nevertheless a great way to celebrate my victory for today!! :))

We were looking for a Vegan meal in downtown Los Angeles late on a Thursday night. We saw that they offered vegan burgers, and I had always wanted to try a spot in this food court. There's 6 places to order from, with tables inside and outside and it's like a small Union Market. We ordered two vegan burgers, with sweet potato fries and a loaded fries. We asked for ranch and thousand island and they gave us more than we asked for. The loaded fries were amazing and so were the burgers, loaded with toppings. We were able to stay outside eating a little after 10, the kitchen just closes at 10:00 on Thursday nights at least

I found out about Plant-It Burger through OffTheMenu. I wish I lived closer because those were some of the best vegan "animal style" fries I've had and I want more!! The fries were also enough to fill me up so I ended up saving the burger for later on. The burger was also really yummy.

Amazing!!! Best vegan burger and fries ever. Covered in chili and cheese with vegan dipping sauces. Will satisfy all your burger cravings. Try their vegan ice cream too! Friendly, attentive staff!

This place offers vegan and non vegan burgers. My boyfriend and I are both vegan and I really appreciated that they cooked our burgers on a separate grill! They also provide a separate vegan/vegetarian menu. I was hesitant to eat here because they served meat but wanted to support there vegan options and I'm glad I did! The food was so fresh and the bun and fries were my favorite! I would recommend this place to fellow vegan friends

Came here with my fam, we all wanted something separate but vegan. My mom came here and got the ground earth burger and ground earth fries. Both were super bomb, the burger's appearance was so funny though. The burger didn't look like the pic on the menu but it was still bomb. Great customer service.

Super great vegan burger, if another one could fit in my stomach I would have ate another! Such sweet staff as well.

GREAT home made pickles on the burger to offset the rich patty and cheese. The service was TOP tier. Took a little longer than most, but tasted better than most! So pick your poison! Great outdoor seating in a bar next door with its own brewery. They have a deal going so you can use that place. Sat in a cool outdoor patio area with fake grass and a nice fence. Nice shade. Parking: Street parking was super easy on a Sunday afternoon, I was able to pull up right in front and park on the street. There is a Super A across the street and ample parking around for free. Ambiance & Food: This reminds me of an old school burger stand. Those were the best burgers and this one did not stop that trend. As I walked up, we were warmly greeted and given a quick rundown of what which burger. They did have specials (I will get to that in a second) which we were intrigued, but for the sake of perspective, I ordered the Goldburger and both regular fries and curly fries with a bottle coke. The Goldburger is naturally a double, but my gymrat protein brain added that extra patty. They use a 70% to 30% mixture for their burger which makes the burger oh so decadent. The picture I took doesn't do it justice. The moment you bite into the burger the combination of burger juice, aioli, burnt skirt, all come together in such a harmonious fashion. It was remarkable. Though fries are not one of my strong points, both fries were crispy and I haven't had any other experience with Curly fries other than Jack in the Box, but these were so much better. I went ahead and dipped the fries in some homemade Aioli and dang, what a combo! Back to those specials, the current special is CHILI, I was intrigued so they gave me a small container of it to try. Man, if I wasn't watching my caloric intake, that would have been the move. It was rich and chunky and not to soggy which some always comes. Give it a try as they said it will be around for sometime. Other than burgers, they do have hot dogs as well. So worth trying both next time. To be perfectly honest, this brought back so much nostalgia for me, I used to go to school in the area and this brought a lot of those memories back. Tasty burgers and a must try for sure if your around! Cheers!

The lady at the window was super nice! We decided to eat in the hallway adjacent to the kitchen, it was a nice warm night and the hall has a bunch of cool plants hanging Let's get into it!! I ordered the signature Goldburger and decided to add pastrami! Look at that! It's sliced thin and comes across kind of like a mound of bacon, melts in your mouth along with the rest of the burger. Very interesting combination it comes highly recommended! We went with curly fries cuz we are from the Midwest and there are no Arby's out here lol but I opted to grab a side of their classic sauce, which ROCKS! It was so good I was pouring it on the last few bites of my burger. Do yourself a favor and get some classic sauce and pour that stuff right on your burger, you won't be disappointed! Check it out!!

There is some metered street parking available and a giant lot across the street but the lot may cost $10 or more. You have to scan the QR Code to find out. Are the burgers here worth they hype? I would say yes. The meat and the buns are very high quality. The DH burgers costs a stiff $21 but it's a huge fat patty, caramelized onions, cheese, and a little sloppy with the burger sauce (but in a good way). The meat is very juicy and flavorful. It is a delicious beast. The rest of the burgers they offer are smash burgers (single for $10) and the quality of the meat and buns are excellent. That is a very good price for this burger. We tried the cheese fries, too, and they were very nice. They are ordinary looking fries with house made cheese melted throughout them. For $8, you get a huge pile of them and plenty to share. They weren't extraordinary but they were still very good. The sauce is not incredibly flavorful but I liked it well enough. You will probably wait a while after you order so settle in. There was almost no line during our visit (mid-afternoon on a Sunday) but they take their time preparing your order. For quality food such as this, I am fine with it. If you are wanting a better tasting burger with pretty much thr same ingredients, I would suggest The Shack in Playa Del Rey. The fries here got soggy because of how they put them in the bag. It's unfortunate that there is no where to sit and that's why the fries get soggy. Let's now talk about the process. They accidentally messed my order by missing fries. Not the end of the world but in order for them to correct their mistake, I had to take all the food they put in the bag and give it back to them. That means while I waited over 25 minutes for my order, I had to wait longer for them to see what's in the bag to see the mistake. Who is to say that if I was crooked, I would simply remove the fries from the bag. What this ultimately means is that now my family is eating colder food. I didn't even bother for the fries anymore since I didn't want to either have my food get colder or wait another 20 minutes for them to remake all the food. I simply wouldn't go back. I do hope they stay around because we are losing small business but the owners should really reconsider the policy for missing food.
