There's no "gym bros" at all. I always feel comfortable and safe. Everyone is sooooo supportive which is what I need. The coaches are knowledgeable and kind, which I appreciate. Parking is easy, the gym is clean, and I enjoy it which is surprising since I'm not a very "athletic" person. There's a nice mix of classes, I especially love the cycle class Thursdays. The app they have is so easy to use too, you sign up for classes on the app. And if you want to, you can connect your MyZone to see your MEPs (heart rate) and it's all connected to the classes you take so you can track which is a plus.

The Life Fitness and Hammer Strength equipment are also excellent and incredibly well maintained. I've lifted at dozens, if not well over a hundred gyms throughout my life, and yet this gym holds such a warm and special place in my heart. Ignore the negative reviews; in my experience, many come from people who never truly integrated into the community that makes this place so unique. I'm leaving soon for the next stage of my medical training, and I'd be lying if I said I won't deeply miss this place. In my confirmation email, the only instruction was to bring my ID, which I reasonably assumed was for identity verification or account setup. However, when I arrived, the front desk associate (Viviana) asked about the address on my ID and, after I explained that I had just moved, told me I would need to go to a different location based on the address listed. I want to be clear--I completely understand if there is a policy requiring proof of local residency for a free trial. That's not the issue. The issue is that this requirement was not communicated beforehand, and more importantly, the way it was handled in person was extremely unprofessional. Viviana had a noticeably dismissive and unfriendly attitude from the start. When I tried to clarify my situation, she spoke over me and did not make any effort to provide clear or respectful communication. After going back and forth, she eventually offered to check with a manager. I agreed and asked her to do so, and when she returned, she said I could work out for the day--but the delivery still felt cold and unwelcoming. I also requested a tour, which she provided very briefly and with minimal effort. She pointed vaguely at different areas without explanation, and I ultimately had to walk the facility on my own to understand what was available. It's unfortunate because the gym itself is great and the other staff members I encountered were kind and welcoming. I still plan on joining because of the location and amenities, but this experience nearly cost you a new member. As a business owner with over 10 years in customer service, I know how much front desk interactions matter--they set the tone for the entire brand. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, because the service I received from Viviana does not reflect the quality of the facility.

Look over the financial terms and make sure you are aware of your first month's dues and fees, double check the due date. The reps also have a tendency to conceal information and mislead you about the due dates. Bring your attorney along just in case they try to use sales tactics. They seem to be covertly aggressive. Covering it up with compliments and jokes. NO THANK YOU!!!!

After 24h increased the rate on my monthly membership I spoke with Ratib and Chuk about switching over to the $500 for two years Platinum membership, and they were able to cancel my old plan and switch me over very quickly- effectively cutting my gym membership payment in half! :) They were so polite, efficient and helpful. I highly recommend this location. My only complaint is that the outer thigh machine has been broken for weeks, and since that's one of the most popular pieces of equipment and the only one, it's pretty disappointing that they can't repair equipment faster.

First, the music is consistently played at an extremely loud volume. It's uncomfortable, makes it difficult to focus on a workout, and may even pose a hearing health risk for members, it is not absolutely necessary to be that loud. Second, the men's 3 urinals have not been flushing for over a week, leaving the restroom with a strong, unpleasant odor. This is a basic maintenance issue that should have been resolved promptly. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and improves the gym experience for everyone.

Trash is always overflowing, bathrooms smell and are often out of order, and there's rarely any staff available. When someone is in the office, the door is closed and they're not helping anyone. At the time, our income was low, but the Y offered scholarships, which made it possible for us to join. We received a 50% scholarship, and it truly was a blessing. It gave me time to work out, take classes, and just have a little "me time" while my baby was safe and cared for. Now that my son is in preschool, I have the flexibility to come at any time, and I love that freedom. The childcare hours used to be limited to mornings (around 8 to 12) and a bit in the afternoon (around 3:30), but now I just come whenever I can. I usually do my own workouts since the group class times don't always fit my schedule, but there's such a great variety, swimming, tap, pilates, fusion, and so much more. Another thing I love is the sense of community. I often see friends from church here, and it feels like an extension of that family atmosphere. The staff is generally friendly, though a few could be a bit more personable, but overall, they're helpful and kind. For the value, variety, and community, the YMCA has been such a big part of my life these past few years. I'm so grateful for it, and I can honestly say, I love the Y!
