Parking is also easy with a upstairs lot facing Vivot! There's also a bit of area to walk around the cafe for a study break! Also huge shout out to this cafe's hours as they're open from 7 AM-11 PM, so you feel no rush to quickly finish your tasks! Price: overpriced for both drinks and sandwivhes. Although I don't mind paying extra for a satisfying drink, this one is not one of those. Ambiance: the walls, decor, plants and furnitures needs plenty of improvement. It looked like they were going for a minimalist look but it seems too bland and all over the place. I appreciate the music but the overall ambiance is not very inviting. Service: self serve to order and they ask for tip? The customers are expected to clear the tables and put away food and drink containers. It doesn't make sense. Parking: it's downtown fullerton, unless you know the area, it might be difficult for you to find parking especially during peak hours. But there's a couple of parking structure nearby which is a plus because it's covered and free. By the way, I initially ordered the classic strawberry matcha for comparison to other matcha drinks I've had from other cafes and I came the 2nd time to try the matcha flight to give it a chance but I was underwhelmed on both times. On both occasion I ordered my drinks with coconut milk and it was so overpowering and matcha flavor is very mild and with addition of plenty of ice, it taste like a waterdowned green drink that's milky in flavor.

Those tend to come out grainy, aggressively dark green, and honestly a little artificial-tasting to me. Little Ox is smoother and cleaner. You taste the tea, not a powder. The Genji matcha latte was my favorite. It's been sold out indefinitely, which I'm still a little sad about. These days I reach for the Okumidori matcha latte instead. My husband and my brother both usually order the brown sugar hojicha. Always with the salted cream top. We haven't found better versions of these anywhere else. It's also a great spot to work or study. Comfortable enough to settle in for a few hours. They carry nice merch too -- matcha sets, and recently Genji matcha tins if you want to make it at home. Highly recommend, especially if you've been disappointed by the trendier places.

With two toddlers, being able to call and them bring my coffee to my car, saves me the unbuckling and wrangling stress. This is me being a little picky, but they'd be top tier if they had an app. The website version is ok but it doesn't always remember my last order.

Easily one of my favorite things I tried. The chicken pastry was another surprise and ended up being incredible. Finished with the mango cheesecake because I pretty much can't say no to anything mango. Really fun cafe experience and I'm glad I stopped in. Definitely coming back!

It's smooth and creamy, but it doesn't overpower the coffee at all. And the cookie that comes with it? Dip it into the cheese foam. So, so good. The coffee itself isn't too sweet or bitter. The latte is just really clean, smooth, and perfectly balanced. Tiramisu coffee can sometimes be way too sweet and heavy, but this one is nothing like that. That's why I always order two. I drink the first one there, nice and slow. A little cookie dipped in the cheese foam, a sip of coffee, another bite, another sip. I mean, I drove all the way from LA to Fullerton. Why would I rush it? And the second one? That one comes back to LA with me. Because I need it for that wonderful 5 Freeway traffic. When traffic starts getting ridiculous and I can feel myself getting annoyed, I take a sip of my Tiramisu Coffee and think, "Okay... it's fine. Just take your time." Obsessed with Play coffee. The staff is always so sweet, inviting and their energy always puts me in a great mood to start my day. My favorite drink right now is the volcano latte, but I've been loooovving their matcha for a midday pick me up. The coffee at this shop was great, exactly what you'd want from a good cup. However, the service was less welcoming. The staff came off as a bit snobby, and I was especially put off by one female barista who laughed at a group of ladies as they left because they didn't know what an espresso tonic was. I have to say, I have loved this coffee shop for years. But my most recent visit, I overheard the owner berating a totally great employee who served us. The owner was reprimanding the barista about using the bathroom outside of their breaks? Which I'm fairly certain is illegal? I will not be revisiting based on this experience. read more

I just moved to the North OC area, and I'm happy to say I've found one of my new go-to coffee…read moreshop study spots in the area! :) I'm currently studying for a big exam, and it's been surprisingly challenging finding coffee shops to study at with the beautiful, modern, aesthetic ambience that makes me happy, without feeling anxious there won't be enough seats or space when I get there, esp since I have to drive a decent amount to get to cafes. I've been getting a little stir crazy at home and finally making the trek here was so worth it-- I felt more motivated than ever to get work done with a tasty treat. I'm not sure if it's because CSUF just started this week, or because I came on a Friday morning, but it was really spacious and open with tons of outlets (almost at each table). Not sure how other days are, but I'd love to bring my study group friends here in the future, since it's so hard to find places with enough space for study groups! Not to mention the clean bathroom haha and good wifi haha The staff here is also incredibly sweet and friendly, making it a comfortable and good experience. Because it was my first time, I asked the barista about her recommendation, and she also asked my general preferences to cater to my taste, and I ended up with a seasonal Birthday Cake Americano at half sweetness (since I don't have much of a sweet tooth). It was perfect for me! I don't usually get Americanos and have a sensitive stomach rn, but it was delicious and kind on my stomach lol. I also got a ham and cheese croissant, and maybe it could've been heated up a little more, but I did wait a bit to eat it, so it was no big deal. The other barista was also so sweet in answering my many questions haha The only struggle as others have mentioned is the parking - I ended up parking at the retail parking nearby, which had plenty of spots but can get pretty pricey, and it sounds like you can park in the areas others have mentioned still (like The Hub I guess has "New Here" parking spots or the employee parking spots?), so I'll need to look more next time. But there's quite a bit around the area within walking distance, you can easily make a day out of it too. Also since it is at the first floor of an apartment in a college town, there will be students going in and out, so just be prepared for that haha -- reminded me of dorm days, and I'm glad students have a spot like this :) Overall, the yummy coffee, amazing vibe and beautiful ambiance, especially as a study spot, alongside the kind and comfortable service has been just what I've been looking for in a coffee shop around here, and I'm excited to return! Although they have the machine but the barista still hand craft the coffee( they have the pull over machine). This is really just a friendly note to management. The only thing that turned a great experience into an uncomfortable one was the tipping screen. The suggested options started at 22% and climbed from there. I'm all for tipping, and I appreciate when businesses make it easy with reasonable options. But when the lowest suggested tip starts above and beyond a "normal" amount, it feels less like a suggestion and more like pressure. At 35%, I half expected someone to be outside washing my car while my espresso was pulling. I'd definitely recommend this place for the coffee and pastries. I just hope they reconsider the default tip suggestions. I think that small change would make the experience as enjoyable at the register as it is everywhere else.

Baklava ($7.50) - The pistachio baklava tasted great and had the perfect blend of sweetness. Crispy phyllo dough and plenty of a crushed pistachio filling helped to make this a stand out dessert. Overall, I enjoyed my latte and baklava. I did feel pricing was over priced for the baklava and a little high for the latte . They also have milk cake, pudding jars, and cheesecakes.

I wouldn't say it's my absolute favorite, but it's definitely up there to my liking. Plus their newest menu item: heirloom tomato cream cheese bagel. The only thing holding me back from trying them earlier is because they're open from 10 AM to 1:30 PM, Monday to Friday. I work night shift so I'm comfortable at home by the time they open up shop or maybe I'm just lazy. Anyways, it's located behind Pacific Drive Elementary school off of Valencia and Basque so make sure you make that turn on Basque or else you have to make a u-turn in a busy street. Here's what I've tried so far: **Bee's Knees Latte (Iced): Got it less sweet with oat milk. Wasn't my favorite drink overall. I wanted to play it safe and get it less sweet but since they make their syrups in-house, they're already less sweet which is great. I could taste every distinct flavor from the honey, vanilla, and cinnamon, but they were too weak overall. Next time, I'd try the drink with regular sweetness and maybe add an extra shot or two. (3/5) **Espresso Tonic: Solid ET. Their espresso has a very nice balance of flavor and the touch with tonic water was great. Easily one of the best ETs I've ever had. (5/5) **Cold Brew: Very solid CB. This is what they recommended on my second visit and it did not disappoint. Creating a good CB is hard to master but they clearly know what they're doing. (5/5) During my first visit a few weeks ago, I arrived on a Tuesday around noon and it seemed like they were busy with regulars ordering a few drinks each which is always a good sign. I was greeted immediately by Ashley and Emiliano even though they were both preoccupied with various tasks along with keeping a conversation going with their regulars. They instantly struck up a conversation and I felt like I was immediately part of their friend group. I'm generally an introverted guy but the vibe was very nice from the get-go. My second visit was this past Monday right before noon with my mom. My mom's first language isn't English and she generally stays quiet but the moment we entered again, they greeted me by name and struck up a conversation with my mom. That's definitely great customer service going above and beyond which is a lost art these days. Anyways, they listened to my feedback with my drinks during my first visit and insisted I try their Cold Brew which was a great choice! I generally don't order CBs anymore because of the disappointed I'm usually met with but I was impressed by theirs. Ashley and Emiliano are truly a gem. I 100% support Roaming Glory and you should try them out soon. I will definitely be back to try more of their menu. RG has easily become one of my favorite places to get coffee. Both of the owners are legit nice people and warmly greet you and remember past conversations. You can find no better cup of coffee in Fullerton than at Roaming Glory. They are located in the hunt library in Fullerton and it is nicely air conditioned and has areas around the property to enjoy your drink. My personal favorites include the s'more latte, cinnamon toast, and any of their drinks of the month. I look forward to going to Roaming Glory each time.
