My now 6 year old son has had his last 2 birthday parties at Playland 707 with nerf both years and he is excited to go back for some laser tag this year . The super friendly and professional staff will inform you of the rules that will keep you safe on and off the field whether your playing paintball, Airsoft, laser tag or nurf . Thought it was awesome. It felt like I was really in war. The guns where metal instead of plastic. I had a 35 pound mag and I had to reload every 35 shots. I think everybody should go there. read more

This place sucks!!!! we took our two kids here they asked if we had reservations, on there websites states to ONLY make reservations if you have a group of "10 or more". Why would I make reservations if we where only s group of 4. They defiantly don't know how to coordinate there time and are very unorganized. I was very disappointed we waisted our time for nothing. This place was epic!! I loved the staff!! My first time ever airsofting and as a girl I was scared but they made it so easy for the first run! They were totally understanding! The staff was awesome helping me, i even accidentally shot guy in stomach and he was really nice about it. I felt pretty bad about that. It really felt like a family community with everyone helping out and guiding me. Definitely worth the 1 1/2 hr drive, totally worth it because of the people there. My sons have been going here for some time and while they have had good experiences, tonight was NOT one of them. Players were completely out of control, firing on FULL AUTO at players who were "dead" and trying to leave the field. Refs did nothing and let the behavior continue. I wish I could say this is the first time this has happened, but it's not. We will be looking for other airsoft fields in the future. read more

Playland helped us pull off another epic birthday event. THANK YOU. The staff is great, from the first phone call to the goodbyes. The kids were skeptical of a semi-outdoor laser tag situation BUT... they unanimously voted that they would definitely go again. We had ages 13-16 fyi. More than the usual options on the guns and games and the space is ENORMOUS, especially compared to the black light laser tag places we've been to. And, because it's lighted, the kids can run like mad through the walls, buildings, crawl spaces and more. Jason was our Field Guide and he was knowledgeable​, explained everything to the kids in ways they understood and coordinated some team games. And the kids said the whole stats tracking was great too. Seriously... fun was had by all. Target and BevMo are right around the corner to pick up any snacks, drinks, etc and they welcome you to bring in whatever food, cake, pizza delivery you want. And... the drive from San Francisco was a little over an 1hr door to door. read more

This was our 4th birthday party at Playland for paintball. My (now) 15-year old son just loves it, and his friends that are girls like it as much as the guys do. I wish it was a little less expensive, but group event parties are pretty pricey no matter where you go. The service is always wonderful and he's had a great time there every year. read more

I ended up spending more than I thought, but it was only because the kids were having so much fun! Even the adults got in there. The staff there took care of us and treated the kids awesome!! We went here for a 2-in-1 birthday and didn't even intend on it but they were having a thursday night special for 10$ per person that night (for lasertag) for as many games as we wanted. We also happened to show up on a very slow night so no one else was there playing and we played so many games of lasertag that the next morning a few of us were sore X_X The guys who were working that night were funny and really laid back - We are definitely talking about when we are going to go back - Sadly, we live in Ukiah so it's a drive.... *Sigh* lol read more

Great place we celebrated my little brothers 11th birthday here and all the kids loved it. The refs were great at taking care of the kids if they got hurt. I went here for my birthday party with a group of friends to go paintballing and it was amazing!!!!! We had an awesome time and I actually bought a paintball for birthday afterwords. The staff was great and fun they helped us out(it was all our first time). I came here to go laser tag with some friends and the experience was not the same. It was his 13 birthday a couple years back and when we went laser tagging the game was great but the staff not so much. The guy hosting and instructing laser tag telling us all the rules and what not was a dick. He was always making these rude facial expressions and threatening to make us have less time than they paid for to the kids!!!!!! He was just an overall a douche, glad I didn't see him at paintball. read more

My son and his friends had the best time there! They did the Airsoft for the first time and were thrilled. Apparently it hurts wayyy less than paintball! They stayed there for 3 hours, had time for snacks and cake during breaks. I didn't book a "party package", as they were only 7, we just made sure to come first thing in the morning (Sunday) and got a table (the non-party tables have seen better days!!!) but it worked out because they were able to play longer than for a party. They were mixed with other groups of drop-ins, some very serious players with their own gear etc... Check-in was a bit slow (we had done the waivers online prior) but everyone was very nice! We had a nerf birthday party here for my son on Sunday. They were very disorganized. My son and his friends did not get the full 90 minute time that they were promised in the nerf room. Part of that was due to lack of communication to us that if we started late, due to late guests, we miss out on nerf room time. The person that was supposed to be supervising our children in the room was not attentive to the children and spent a good part of the time watching TV while they were playing instead of interacting with these 8 year olds. It may look a little intense when first walking up, but once your there good luck on wanting to leave and especially getting the kids to be ready to leave. My son an his 12 friends went for his 12th birthday, walking up you are drawn in with the sound of paintball and air soft guns going off all the awesome courses then coming in you are greeted by one of the many enthusiastic Playland team members, who then led us to our break/party area and tables. With on site vending machines right next to our table, witch were great because we had the BBQ going at home and didn't bring snacks, witch is totally fine to bring food and drinks and have your party there. Next was time to head in to the lazer tag course with Taylor aka the German commander or Sargent, who was great with the kids and never broke character tell he switched to Sargent, he was more then great with the kids from his funny little jokes to even playing a couple rounds with the kids. Speaking of the game play witch was the best around, giving you two hours of full lazer tag play 8 minute games with a few dozen game play options, with the latest lazer tag equipment. A couple rounds, I even was able to play with the kids. In no way would I ever talk another business down but in comparison my boys went the very next day to there cousins birthday where it was 3 ten minute games with some cheap equipment one game play and a host that just told the kids go in and have fun and just controlled the game start and finish, my boys weren't impressed witch I don't want to talk numbers but Playland definitely has the best pricing in the bay area and probably most of the northern California area. This place is decent, the field is alright but the staff members are just horrible and boring and they seem like they don't even wanna work there. They even stay on their phones when there's people waiting in line to play. I've been to other areas and one of my favorites is the jungle and they are great. The fields are nice and the staff is so humble I recommend it there a lot more. read more

This is a great place to play airsoft. This also a great place for beginner airsoft players. You may rent guns for an amazing price by the hour. Or bring your own gun for an even cheaper price. The only thing I must say is that the rental masks are a bit dirty. Great place. read more

We just had a NERF party here for our son's 11th birthday. He and his friends had a fantastic time. Tables were available for our food and presents, all near the NERF course. Ryan and his staff were friendly and a pleasure to deal with. We had arranged for a two hour time slot, but they even let the boys play one last round after the two hours were up. Between rounds the boys were encouraged to hydrate and allowed to go to the bleachers to watch the paint ball match in progress. I lost count, but I think the boys played five rounds in all. That gave just enough time for food and presents! Oh, and the birthday boy received a Playland t-shirt. Other things to note: *Several parents commented on how convenient it was to drop their sons off, go shopping at the Target center across the road and then return to pickup the party goers. *It was incredibly easy to arrange for the party over the phone. My son has already stated that he wants to celebrate his birthday at Playland again next year. read more

This place is one of the greatest places to have a kids birthday party. We bought the party package for the nerf games which included a party room. The staff was so helpful getting all the kids pumped up and ready to play. Even the fathers and one grandfather joined in to play. All the kids said it was one of the best things they ever did. They said it was like playing inside a video game. Will definitely be going again. Especially for Halloween. So glad to have this place in sonoma county. read more

The new place is great. The Airsoft outdoor field is huge. Plenty of buildings, tight corners, and places to slide. Some may think it's a downside when it rains, but it's really fun in the mud. I go there at least 2 times a month, sometimes more sometimes less. I highly recommend the membership if you play as much as me. The staff are great and the players are more or less honest. However if they aren't following the rules, the public punishments are great. 10/10 and always tell people this is the best North bay field read more
