My teen wanted spaghetti and Plaza Inn came through for the win! I love this place as it has an old cafeteria vibe inside. The pink umbrellas and seating are hard to miss outside. I like the cafeteria style service. You see what you like and they dish it out for you. They have different stations so you're not stuck waiting in a long line. The spaghetti was ok. There was plenty of sauce. The portion was average.
Always eat at this restaurant. Portions are large so we share a chicken dinner with extra mashed potatoes instead of green beans. This seasonal pumpkin cake was one of my favorite park sweets-delicious! So much seating you have no trouble finding a table and can people watch
I always looooove dining at The Plaza Inn. I have dined here a few times with friends and family. The Plaza Inn has good food and is so fun to meet the characters. Food- 10/10. I loooove the buffet they have. I am gluten free and am so thankful that they have gluten free mickey mouse waffles :) They also have a great selection of breakfast food and drinks. It's nice having all you can eat, it makes the price worth it. Service- 10/10. Classic Disney, they have great service. Everyone is so welcoming, patient, and helpful. Characters- I loooove getting to dine with the characters :) Some of the characters are unique to the restaurant, and you don't typically see them elsewhere in the park. They come around to all tables, so everyone has a chance to meet them and take pictures. Whether you're a kid or an adult, this is such a fun experience! You also get a photo with Minnie Mouse in the beginning. Price- $60 adults. Honestly it's expensive but worth it. It's all you can eat and a fun experience. Great for special occasions!
It's criminal how long it's taken for me to try the Plaza Inn! I've passed by it so many times while trying to hop on rides, and always said I need to eat here one day, which should've been much sooner! This is one of the higher quality meals you can get that really doesn't taste like theme park food. There's a wide array of options - pasta, salads, and their signature fried chicken that you probably always smell while walking by, so I had to give that one a try. You simply grab a tray and pick the station you want to go to, and the service is nice and quick! You can ask for all dark meat, so I was able to get 2 thighs and a drumstick. The chicken was juicy, crispy, and perfectly seasoned! The mashed potatoes were smooth, and the gravy was tasty, definitely a really filling meal that also just gives you that comfort food vibe. There's plenty of tables, both inside and out, and you get can get a pretty good view of the parade if you're eating here around this time. If you've been waiting to try this spot for as long as I was, here's your sign to finally go!
The fried chicken here is the 2nd best theme park fried chicken in Southern California (Let's just say 1st place is very nearby). But that's not to say it's bad. In fact, it's one of the best meal deals in the park in my opinion. You get huge portions and the price is still decent. If I'm not eating at the nearby corn dog cart, you'll find me having lunch or dinner here. The location is a bit of a cafeteria style restaurant. You pick your type of food (pasta, fried chicken, salad) and go to the countertop and employees will give you a fresh portion of food. You then walk over to a central checkout and then it's off to either the small indoor eating or slightly larger patio to enjoy your meal. As with all Disneyland areas, employees are beyond friendly and the whole area is kept wonderfully clean. I feel like, for whatever reason, a lot of people sleep on Plaza Inn. This shocks me. It should always be busier than it is.

The chicken reminds me a lot of the fried chicken at Winco tbh lol (not exceptionally crispy but flavorful) but that means that it can hit the general craving for fried chicken. I can see why people tend to get a double helping of the mashed potatoes; very notable silky buttery taste to them! The seasonal vegetables at the time of my visit were simmered green beans and they were super tender (though a tad over-peppered.....still delicious!). The buttermilk biscuit is fluffy but bland (needed even just a pinch more of salt). Easily shareable between two people. Overall I recommend the meal especially if you're looking for a no-fuss dinner that would keep you full until park closing.

Plaza Inn is the only character dining experience offered in Disneyland Park. You can dine with Minnie and her friends during breakfast. This experience is only offered in the morning. Hours: 8AM-11AM character dining and 12PM-10PM (2026) I love their breakfast options. It's buffet style, and the food options are amazing. You will definitely be overly full afterwards, but don't worry, you'll lose it while walking around the parks. There's so many characters, and they're very interactive! You also get a special photo op with Minnie Mouse before you dine. And the photos are free! You'd receive them through the Disneyland app. After breakfast hours, the experience ends and it's casual dining. If you ain't ending your night at Plaza Inn for dinner, then did you really end your trip right?? Lol. They're well known for their fried chicken with mashed potatoes, biscuit, and green beans. They give you 3 large fried chickens that are seasoned and fried well. The mashed potatoes are chunky, creamy, and delicious. The green beans were seasoned to perfection. They also offer a salmon dish, kids meals, and pasta meal. They have so many small dessert dishes. There's basic fountain drinks and bottled juices. During lunch and dinner hours, you'd pick all your plates yourself and seat yourself since it's casual dining. Whereas during the character dining experience, a cast member will seat you.
Visited Disneyland on 04/30/26 and indulged with the famous fried chicken at the Plaza Inn. The chicken was fresh and fried to perfection. The mashed potatoes and gravy were delicious as well. The green beans could have been cooked a little longer and some herb and spices or seasoning was needed as they were extremely bland. I recommend this restaurant for a feels like home meal. The restaurant sits between the Star Tours ride & Main St. They also have meatloaf, salad, pasta and a seafood opt ion as well as dessert Fuel up and take a ride on the rockets afterwards. Nice weather for a fun-filled day. Keep in mind this is a very popular restaurant and is always busy during the day and night. But no worries because there is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.
This was my second visit to Plaza inn. This time I didn't have breakfast with the characters though. This time it was lunch with one of my besties. I've heard nothing but great things about their chicken and the hype is true... it is in fact Amazing! Everything I've had here has been delicious! Cleanliness and organization is a must for me and I feel like this place is just that... the food is super fresh! I would have given it 5 stars but not all seats are in the shade and I know that's not their fault but I was half shade half sun and my chocolate cake (amazing by the way) was melting a little so we had to hurry up and eat it... Overall... 5 stars for me! We will definitely be back for more!
The hype is real, this is definitely the place for the best fried chicken at Disneyland! While it wasn't the crispiest chicken around (it may have been sitting there awhile), it's definitely juicy, generously portioned, and where it really shines is the very well seasoned and distinctive skin. Plenty to share but if you're hungry, nothing wrong with getting your own. The rest was decent, especially the mashed potatoes & gravy, but the star is the chicken. We also had a kids meal chicken tenders later since we were still hungry which wasn't bad and a good deal. Outside seating has great views, especially during fireworks!
If you're feeling like something fresh or a healthier option. You can find options for you at the Plaza Inn. You can build your own salad! Which was super refreshing. My sister and I shared the chicken so if you're not super hungry, it's a perfect plate to share. Service is super fast and everyone is super friendly and making sure the tables stay clean. Def will be coming back the next time I come to Disney.

They did announce that seats were extremely limited to non since most parties would save a table before they even order (shame on them!). But I lucked out with a table inside because one party was just leaving. Here's what we ordered: CHICKEN - $21.99 Three pieces of Chicken, fried to a golden brown, seasoned with distinctive Herbs and Spices, served with Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Buttermilk Biscuit and seasonal Vegetables. This plate is something we always get when we come here and share because you get a lot of food that is delicious! I'm impressed with the fried chicken--full of flavor! SALMON - $18.99 Citrus Herb-crusted Salmon, Creamy Mashed Potatoes, Seasonal Vegetables and Basil-infused Cream Sauce, garnished with Basil-Tomato Relish. I love that the salmon comes with a creamy sauce even though it was not dry! The crust gave it a fun texture, and I'm so glad we got this plate too. I will say, I can see why this place is so busy. You are getting really good food for a really good price considering where you are and the amount you are getting! Bravo, Disney!
One of my favorite places to dine at Disneyland! Tons of seating! You walk in grab a tray and pick a station They have pasta, fried chicken, and cob salads! You can grab a dessert and drink before you pay! Love how the staff is very friendly! This is located in the Disneyland park. Can't miss it. It's at the end of Main Street on the right hand side. It's been here as long as I can remember, but this is only the second time I've eaten here. There are a lot of outdoor tables. Perfect for large groups. It's a cafeteria style restaurant. As soon as you walk in, you grab a tray. Then you stand in line in front of what you want. There are three main dishes: fried chicken, salmon, and pasta. Staff behind the counter dish it all out on a plate for you. I've had the fried chicken before, so decided to try the salmon today. The salmon comes with mashed potatoes and green beans. There's a soda fountain machine, single bottles and cartons of chocolate milk, and juice boxes for the kids. I grabbed a chocolate milk. There are also small bowls of salads and various desserts. Today, it was a chocolate swirl cake, pineapple coconut cake, and a Minnie Mouse Bundt cake. I grabbed a slice of the pineapple coconut cake. There are multiple cashiers ready to check you out. Staff are friendly and efficient. I dined inside last time. Today, I dined outside. There are free standing umbrellas outside. I enjoyed my meal. The salmon, green beans, mashed potatoes, and pineapple coconut cake were delicious and filling. read more
I come to Disneyland a lot and this is my favorite casual place to eat. Delicious food and great value. Fried chicken plate is one of my favorite Disneyland items. Also feels like the best value ~ 3 pieces of fried chicken, biscuit, green beans and mashed potatoes for $21. You can get double mashed potatoes if you don't want green beans (would recommend). I love the salad too ~ it can change seasonally but most times I have been, it's been a Cobb salad they toss in front of you. What We Ordered: -Fried Chicken with Potatoes and Green Beans $19.99 -Kids Pasta $8.49 -Penne Marinara $15.99 The fried chicken was nicely crispy without being greasy. I saw someone get gravy from the roast to put on their mashed potatoes, so I did the same - a pro move! You can get 10% off your bill with a Disney Visa card! Bruh They got the best chicken. I will fight anyone who says otherwise. Yes, yes, I will because this chicken slaps hard. This is like a cafeteria style restaurant, pick ur items find ur table and eat. They got pasta and meatloaf but their chicken is the star of the show. They also got seasonal treats that are to die for. This is honestly probably the best dining spot in Disneyland. Yes let's fight. read more
Update: 3/13/26 Fried Chicken (all dark) - 5/5 Plaza Inn's Fried Chicken remains my favorite. But I have noticed that the drum sticks have gotten very small compared to the size in the past. That being said, the coating on this fried chicken is excellent. The skin is very crisp, and the chicken thighs were tender. I usually only get dark meat, so I cannot speak for the chicken breast/wing that you get normally. The green beans are fresh, and are very tender and tasty. The mash potatoes with chicken gravy is delicious. The biscuit that you get is good, but you'll need water to liquid to wash it down since it tends to be pretty thick when eaten. Meat Loaf - 5/5 The tomato glazed meat loaf was offered for a limited time. I liked this meat loaf. It doesn't fall apart when forked. But the meat loaf was very moist and tender. The meat loaf was savory and delicious. The tomato glazed was slightly sweet. I wish there was more to enjoy, rather than the brown grave they put as a foundation for the meats loaf. I would have preferred more the tomato glazed meat to go with the meats loaf. The green beans and mash potatoes were excellent as with the fried chicken. Overall, I think the Plaza Inn is the best select you entree/food and go restaurant in Disneyland that doesn't require reservations. Give the Plaza Inn a try for lunch or dinner when in Disneyland Park. Highly recommended. read more

Visited Plaza Inn at Disneyland on Friday and was seated relatively quickly even without a reservation, which was a plus. The setup is more cafeteria-style, with several different food options to choose from. I ordered the braised beef with mashed potatoes and green beans. For an amusement park meal, it was tasty and satisfying, though the portion felt a bit small for the price. We also tried desserts, including the apple Bundt cake and the gingerbread cake. Both had good flavor, but they were extremely cold -- almost frozen -- which made them hard to enjoy. Considering the price, that was disappointing. The ambience is welcoming and charming, almost cathedral-like, with soft pink tones and chandeliers that make the space feel special. The servers were attentive and constantly cleaning and preparing the area for incoming guests. Overall, I'm glad I tried it. While it was a nice experience, it's not something I feel the need to revisit. read more

It was time to eat and of course we had to get the famous fried chicken dinner at the Plaza Inn. It's $21.99 and comes with a leg, thigh, and wing. The sides are mashed potatoes w/ gravy, veggies, and a biscuit. To complement it, they offer hot sauce, honey, ketchup, jelly, butter, salt, and pepper. The chicken was hot, juicy, and crispy. I love mixi by the hot sauce and honey to make the perfect chef's kiss. The mashed potatoes are creamy and the gravy is rich and full of flavor. Even the green beans are full of flavor. I will be honest, drinks are expensive - $5 for a soda and $5.50 for apple or orange juice. The ambiance is casual and has a cute old fashion look to it. It is a self seating option with indoor and outdoor dining. It is full service when it comes to cleaning the table off. You don't have to do that. Overall, this is a great place to eat and one of the most popular. They also offer seasonal deserts, have a salad station, pasta station, and serve meatloaf and salmon as well. Tried their famous chicken when trying out their dining package. Totally worth it as the food is very tasty. The chicken breast must be brined because it's so juicy. I like their string green beans and mashed potatoes. The bread rolls are so soft almost like Kings Hawaiian rolls. The dining package offering also included a fountain drink and dessert. As always the Disney pastries are the best so decadent and uniquely decorated. What could top it off better than front row seating on Main Street for the holiday parade!!! Highly recommend the plaza inn for their chicken and dining package experience!!! read more
A must for me every visit! Never had the pot roast until my last visit there back in October with friends. So this visit it was my husband and I. We got a pot roast dinner and chicken dinner. Both portions are shareable. The fried chicken, mashed potato, green and gravy very delicious. Pot roast very tender and delicious as well. If you're looking for a hearty and decent priced meal I strongly suggest coming here. We also had the gingerbread cake, that was a little sweet for me, it was moist and my husband enjoyed it. We got there just before opening. Opening was at 12 pm. Once it opened the line went by quickly. There was lots of seating indoor and outdoor. I like seating outdoor to enjoy the outdoor ambiance of seeing Mainstreet and the castle. When on Mainstreet this is a must try if you haven't yet! read more

All you can eat character breakfast at Disneyland. Not as many options as Goofy Kitchen but the food is better. (I just wish they had peanut butter and jelly pizza). Food includes Minnie waffles, eggs, potatoes, omelettes, bacon, sausage, cereal, fruit, yogurt and they have hot chocolate. We took hot chocolate to go. There is also croissants and other pastries. Characters we saw were Minnie, Tigger, Winnie the Pooh, Daisy, Chip and Dale. read more
Have not been in Disneyland for many years, used to come yearly and for multiple days when kids were little. My kids although adults and married will always be "kids" in my eye. We loved the fried chicken meal from here then and it was still as I remembered. Crispy outside with juicy inside and big servings with delicious mash potatoes and gravy. Biscuit was great and even the green beans were buttery and not mushy but firm. The decor and service are excellent and great spot to watch the busy intersection of all the different lands in the heart of Disney. read more

We came here after a long day at Disney and didn't need a reservation for our party of 20+ people. We simply found a few tables next to each other indoors and got our food, which was nice. We got the chicken plate, which came with biscuit, green beans, and some mashed potatoes. The veggies were a little more on the bland side while the biscuit was soggy. The penne pasta with chicken pesto Alfredo sauce was solid and had good flavors. We also tried the chicken salad, which was fine but it was nothing special (could have used more dressing). One of my favorite meal in Disneyland is at Plaza Inn! For lunch time, they do not take reservations unless it is for a special package. They also do not accept mobile order so plan accordingly to your schedule. For breakfast, you can make reservations for characters meet and greets. This is a cafeteria style restaurant. Grab a tray, go to any station to select the items you want. Grab your own drink at the drink station and condiments at the condiment stations. Whatever you grab, you will pay at the pay stations. After paying, you find your own table. There indoor and outdoor seating. I got the fried chicken meal. It comes with 3 pieces of chicken, mash potatoes, string beans and a biscuit. It is a huge meal. Chicken was good but kinda dry. Biscuit was really dense and on the harder side. Mash potatoes and strings beans were good. I was lucky as they were not busy/packed on the day I was there. Line was short and no issues with finding a seat. Service was quick. After eating, the staff will clean/clear the table so you do not need to worry about that :) read more
A must-visit when you go to Disneyland. This is where I go whenever it's my first night in the park. It feels homey and old-timey. It's a classic. Get the fried chicken. It's a large portion and this isn't your neighborhood KFC or Popeyes! Disney does fried chicken well. They also have nice seasonal cakes and daily salads. read more

Looking for dining packages to Paint the Night Parade at Disneyland, Plaza Inn was the only place offering the package. We ended up booking a lunch, dining package, for the Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration parade at 2:40 P.M on a Saturday afternoon. The Plaza Inn is located in Main Street, U.S.A at Disneyland Park. It's right at the entrance to Tomorrowland. We ended up going a little early, around 2:10, and the team member let us in for the dining package! We were provided a Paint the Night Badge and tickets to the reserved seating, which was right next to the train station and Disneyland entrances. The dining package included the following Adult Dining Package Menu Mushroom gravy-glazed meatloaf Baby wedge salad Pea purée over creamy mashed potatoes Herbed crispy carrots Paint the Night-themed dessert Fountain drink Child Dining Package Menu Crispy chicken tenders Macaroni & Cheese Apple sauce and baby carrots Dinner roll Paint the Night-themed dessert Fountain drink The Lunch per adult was $55.00 and $28 per child. Magic Key discount is accepted at the Plaza Inn. It was super busy when we went to the Plaza Inn, but luckily, we did find a table to sit at inside the restaurant. Once we checked in for the reservation, we went to pick up our meal which was already pre-made. The best part of the dining package was the Pea purée over creamy mashed potatoes and the herbed crispy carrots. The meatloaf was so dry and flavorless. It was also cold. I didn't eat much of it. My daughter enjoyed the chicken tenders and macaroni and cheese though! Some of the other dishes from the menu looked really good though! The fried chicken and the pasta looked scrumptious! It was nice to take a break from the theme park rides and sit down inside a restaurant though! I'm glad I had a chance to try out the Plaza Inn during lunch time! We had a great time at the Paint the Night Parade. It was one of the best Disney parades I've seen yet. read more
There's a really long line out of this place for their fabled fried chicken, but honestly I thought it was just ok. Good for theme park standards I suppose. It's cafeteria style so you line up at the window for the dish you want and receive it from the worker. The workers are nice. Ambiance is... meh, ok. A little dated, perhaps, but maybe that's what they were going for. I would probably eat here again if the line wasn't too long. read more
My body needed a salad after a week with minimal vegetables so got the Cobb salad. Romaine lettuce, chicken, bacon, egg, tomato and bleu cheese with bleu cheese dressing. They mix the salad for you. The flavors go wonderfully together and at a reasonable price of $15.49. You get a lot of food for the price and had trouble finishing it. The chocolate gooey brownie cake is divine but very sweet b The dining room is lively and noisy when everyone is talking and could barely hear the music. I finally got to try the Plaza Inn. When I arrived, I waited in line as they transitioned from breakfast to lunch. Before opening, they gave a slight history about the Plaza Inn and a celebration for those celebrating their birthday. People celebrating birthday got to go up, the line sang happy birthday, and they rang a bell. Just a little more magic for those celebrating their birthday. I came to try their fried chicken and the 70th slice of cake. The fried chicken meal came with 3 pieces (drumstick, thigh, and a breast) with mashed potatoes and gravy, and green beans. After paying, I asked for boxes and bagged it up to take back to the hotel. Even after the walk and settling in before eating, the chicken had some crisp. It was lightly seasoned and the breast was a little dry. The mashed potatoes and gravy were very good as was the green beans. The 70th celebration cake was not my favorite. The jam part of it was quite hard almost like a firm jello and made eating the cake difficult. read more

Absolutely worth the character breakfast/brunch buffet price tag!! Dining here will set you back $50 for each adult and any child between the ages of 3-9 will cost $30 [prior to taxes]. Food offerings range from assorted cereals, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, french toast, fresh cut fruit, & the infamous Mickey waffles. There are baked good such as: croissants, muffins, & danishes. The popular station seemed to be the customizable omelets-if you're into this kinda thing. The food honestly isn't that great. It's just your average American breakfast items. The biggest selling point for me was the character interactions. Why chase your faves around the park when they can make their way to you??! My little one lit up as an assortment of characters made their way through the dining area. 5/5 stars! Our little one didn't eat much due to being overly excited, overstimulated, & too occupied in scoping out her favorite characters but seeing that extra sparkle in her eyes truly made for such a memorable experience. **extra bonus points for PI's 3pc fried chicken plate** read more

Can you order off a menu or is everything Buffett?
Yes, you can order off a menu for lunch and dinner. I believe breakfast is through ordering off a menu. Not sure if they have a buffet offered sometimes.

It's only lunch and dinner. They use Plaza Inn restaurant for the special breakfast with the characters. I think lunch begins after 11?
Is there any restaurant in the park that serves just good old fashioned ranch dressing? And does anybody know what types of lettuce are in the side salad? I'm allergic to iceberg. Thank you
The side salad is iceberg lettuce. The ranch at plaza inn is AMAZING. Galactic Grill has Caesar salad with romaine and I think you can get it with ranch there.
Is the patio open for the character breakfast? Or is breakfast only served indoors?
For the Character Breakfast, both indoor and outdoor is available. Let the Cast Member know your preference or they will automatically put you in an area.
Do you take reservations for 8 people saturday 10/23 dinner?
Disneyland dining reservations open up 60 days before. Use the Disneyland app to book your reservation. Reservations fill up quick.
Are they still doing breakfast buffet?
Yup same as pre-covid. Only difference is that currently characters aren't stopping for chats/photos/signatures, they are just doing a parade where they walk around while waving.
Is there breakfast buffet a thing still?
Yes, its breakfast in the park with minnie and friends. So minnie, the cast from pooh,and usually tigger and the fairy godmother
How much does it cost for an adult for the Breakfast in park?
34.00 for character dining buffet. 19 for kids. You get a discount if you have an annual pass. You need to call and make reservations. They fill up quick.
Does anyone know if their gravy is make with pork?
I do not know for sure but if I remember correctly there are no pork dishes on the menu. Not much help, sorry.
How is the food at Plaza Inn in DIsneyland for breakfast? Decent?
It's decent. You're definitely paying more for the character experience, but the food isn't bad. If you want a larger variety I would suggest eating breakfast elsewhere.
