Best deal in town for seniors... 1 to 4... $16.19 AYCE and includes a drink (3.79)... otherwise one lunch with a drink is $21.61... first thing I did was make me a strawberry waffle (you make them yourself!) with fresh strawberries and ice cream on the side and an orange freeze (Fanta Orange and ice cream... stir) Hahaha dessert first... then salad, then my mains ( meatloaf, pot roast, fried chicken, mashed potatoes and mac and cheese... a street taco made to order, and a cheeseburger slider hot off the grill... some nachos and an ICEE float... wish my stomach was as big as my eyes!!! Nice to come here after going walking at Disneyland... 9/10 for AYCE experience in Anaheim

Out of the locations near me (Anaheim, City of Industry, Downey, Pomona, Covina, Bellflower and Ontario), the Anaheim has the highest lunch prices at $18.99 per adult. I thought prices would be the same at all locations but it's not. I didn't realize they had different prices on the menu, where you can see an increase of prices. We spent $61.39, getting only water since they charge for beverages. There are plenty of tables and booths; even for larger groups. They have a typical American and Mexican food, salad bar and dessert station. My favorites were the pot roast (tender but could have had more sauce), sausages, meatloaf (juicy) and freshly grilled cheeseburgers (bread was too thick). The Mac n Cheese looked too thick instead of creamy!! The fried chicken was piled high. The taquero serving Mexican style tacos wasn't there at that station, even though the food was there. Not even when dinner started and after 5pm. They also have an ICEE machine with Cherry Limeade, Sour Apple and Pina Colada flavors. My favorite desserts were the pumpkin and red velvet cake balls, which are fantastic freshly made! The pumpkin pie was okay. The carrot cake looked dry. The chocolate soft serve was good with peanuts on top! The chocolate pie was a little too dense. The Rice Krispies treats were better without chocolate. Overall, typical buffet food. They do have a grill station that cooks hamburgers and after 4pm, steaks. The first time I got a piece of steak, it was bland and a little over medium rare. But, the 2nd time I got one, it was seasoned well and definitely medium rare. The guy at the grill station was very nice though. For the rest of the staff, customer service could have been better and friendlier. It was a little warm in the restaurant.

    Nasty salty soup

Nasty place, now they charged you $25 just for soup and some Macaronni and cheese , came for breaks fast and nothing about breakfast on a holiday, I'll never stop here again

Thia was my first time to this location. They offered a wide variety of food. Dinner was $23.95 plus your drink. The steak, roast beef was very flavorful. The ham was a bit salty. The mashed patatoes with a bit of gravy gave it a bit of taste. They have a large dining area here and will accommodate large groups. The service was decent, the only thing that was a bit frustrating was the the attendant was a bit rude and kept sweep and cleaning behind and around the guests table while everyone was eating. And bumping into our chairs. Other than that everthing was great.

Aloha gang! After a day at Disneyland, we decided to choose the nearest AYCE buffet and went with Golden Corral Buffet and Grill. There was an ample selection of food to choose. From fish, shrimp, meat Loaf, pasta, grilled steaks, the list goes on and on. I haven't even mentioned the salad bar and desserts. Just be advised, drinks are also available but are not included with the price of the buffet. My favorite item at the buffet was the grilled steaks. I don't know how or what they season their steaks with, but it was tender and juicy and I savored each and every bite. You just walk up to the grill and let the chef know how you want it cooked. It will be grilled to your liking. My other favorite dishes were the meat loaf, pot roast, stuffing, mashed potatoes, beer battered fish and to balance it all out, I had to visit the salad bar. I ended my meal with dessert, a chocolate pie and believe it or not, they even had cotton candy. I've never seen that at a buffet before. All in all, after the meal, everyone was happy, full and we definitely enjoyed our experience at Golden Corral Buffet and Grill. We'll be back next time we're in the area.

The service was great. Some of the food was not it though. Mainly the chicken wings. Everything else was pretty solid. Well kept environment. Just be cautious because my wings were not cooked throughly

Very interesting time at Golden Corral Buffet! This is my first time ever going there. We wanted to find an all you can eat buffet with a lot of varieties and choices that was affordable as well. My intent was to try as many varieties of food, to get feedback on them, and for me to discover what I actually would enjoy the next time I visit here as well. To begin with, and this is my opinion From someone who eats out a lot at all you can eat buffets that are still available, I wanted to give some feedback. There were some items that were good : for example, the fried chicken was good, french fries, I thought the pizza was good. Over half of the desserts were very good. But I didn't care for at all, all of the soups that I tasted, and I tasted them all ! The shrimp was not edible. Ham way too salty was the ham. There were items that were fascinating to me for example, the steak and a few other other items had glazed sauces on them, and the sauces tasted more like the food is supposed to taste such as the steak, but the steak texture and chewiness was not up to par. Service was great, Maria our Waitress very kind. I met the manager Matt I believe - he mentioned that people either really love it here or they don't. The ambience, atmosphere would be one that you may expect that and all you can eat buffet. I'll leave that to your discretion. Nothing was great tasting except for one item, and that was the oatmeal cookies. Even the coffee was off - Maria was kind enough to get me a small glass of milk, to go with it. I don't think I'll be returning, because I don't think the scores going to change. Or the food! Lol.

Delicous pizza resting on a perfect salad

Always come back to the 'food Disneyland' analogy because everything is awesome, everyone is having a good time, and though your eyes and stomach want to? there's no way you could go on all the rides you wanted to in one day ( always something fir next time) This was on a Sunday Street Taco bar was open till maybe 3:30 or 4pm? I always say this but the totally happy friendly and all-in staff make the experience i had forgotten to bring cash for a tip and as our empty plates were being whisked away? went back to the register to ask if they did casback? they totally did, it was superfast and easy to accomplish I pointed out the manager to my brother, adding that he's been manager as long as I've been in SoCal and is why such good people and food and the best GC. He said that guy right there ? Then told me he'd seen him waith a tray getting all the best picks, my brother had thought he was getting it for himself Turned out he was making a perfect meal for an elderly disabled customer And THAT sums up why ( even if there's no way anyone could do something that everytime) Anaheim Golden Corral is the best Golden Corral, heart and soul

I went to Golden Corral on a weekday for lunch at around 12pm. I didn't have much in terms of expectations but I was surprisingly happy from my experience. The selection was mostly American food but included some Mexican offerings. The burger was not bad but the street style tacos were good. I enjoyed the fried fish coupled with the clam chowder. They had plenty of chicken offerings and I enjoyed the fried chicken which wasn't dry. Lunch is about $19. It's a good idea to go when they open so the food is fresh. Also added bonus was the icee machine which you mix with the ice cream. The dessert is small but I think icee and ice cream was enough for me.

We came to Golden Corral on a weekday, and it was not full, very quiet which was nice actually. Because we came around 1130am, the food seemed fresh and we enjoyed not having to wait in line. They also put out breakfast which I didn't expect, I would have preferred lunch food since the restaurant is not even open for breakfast on weekdays. There's a taco bar which is a nice extra. Lots of chicken, including baked chicken, bbq chicken and fried chicken, and fish. On weekends, we have often enjoyed things like ribs, tri-tip akd steak, also pork chops. However the only meat being offered was burgers. I heard that dinner has more choices. The highlight of the buffet was definitely dessert. Iced and soft serve ice cream, along with chocolate-covered rice krispies and all kinds of pies and cakes. While I consider it a bit expensive for what you get, it's fun to take the family and we would love to come back if there was a special promotion or discount in the future.

    Chicken soup and posited

Sunday dine in - Dinner price 20.99 is justified Soft drinks aren't included sadly. Soups to get - Clam chowder. Pesole pork was okay as I had the bottom of the barrel which consisted of only broth. Skip the chicken noodle as very starchy. Recommend getting the grilled steaks at the grill. Beer battered fish was a hit. Fried chicken and pot roast are winners as well. Mac and cheese were good. Self serve slushies and dessert station is nice as I don't often visit. Cons- the meats at the taco shell station definitely needed restocking. Melted cheese as well needed attention during lunch rush. Street taco station became available nearing at the end of my dining experience. Service- Plates were cleared within a timely manner.

Since this is an all-you-can-eat restaurant, I initially expected someone to seat me, but I was simply told to find any available table and start eating. That was perfectly fine with me. The food selection included several salads, meats, and other dishes, but unfortunately, nothing really stood out. Overall, I found the food fairly average. The main reason for my two-star rating, however, was what happened when I paid. My bill was around $36.50. I paid cash with one $20 bill and four $5 bills, for a total of $40, and told the cashier to keep the change. What made me uncomfortable was that almost immediately after I handed her the money--while she was still saying "Have a good day"--she pulled out a counterfeit-detection pen and started checking my bills right in front of me. I understand that businesses may have policies for checking cash, and I have no problem with a restaurant protecting itself against counterfeit money. However, the way this was handled felt unnecessarily uncomfortable and somewhat insulting. She could easily have waited until I had stepped away before checking the bills instead of immediately testing them in front of me as soon as I handed them over. I was not rushing out of the restaurant or behaving suspiciously in any way. Of course, I have never knowingly used counterfeit money. The whole interaction simply left me feeling as though I was being treated with suspicion for no apparent reason. If checking cash is standard procedure, I can understand that. But customer service also matters, and there are more discreet ways to handle it without making a paying customer feel accused or embarrassed. Between the average food and this unpleasant experience at checkout, I can only give this restaurant two stars.

The characters were wonderful, our servers were attentive, and the breakfast was enjoyable. We had a great time once we were seated. But that initial interaction really stayed with me. At a place like Disney, where so much of the experience is built around feeling welcomed and taken care of, the first interaction matters. I don't expect anyone to be perfect, but I do expect to be treated respectfully and given a chance to explain a situation before being dismissed. I'm sharing this because I would hate for another guest, especially someone who may already be confused about the check-in/seating process, to walk away feeling the same way I did. The dining experience itself was wonderful, but unfortunately, our first impression left a bad taste in my mouth. I hope management can use this as an opportunity to remind the front-of-house team how important those first interactions are.

Here's a short, upbeat, and a little cheeky review that hits everything you described -- cost,…read morebrunch, gluten‑free care, and the character‑meet perk. --- Be prepared to spend about $100 per person, it's definitely a splurge. But for a Sunday brunch, the food was amazing and totally worth it. The variety was great, and the Mickey Mouse ear waffles were ridiculously good and perfectly crispy. They also take gluten allergies seriously, which I really appreciated. It's a fantastic spot for kids to meet characters, too. Honestly, it's a great way to check that off the list so you can skip the long character lines inside Disneyland. Would go again.

The chance to meet the characters, the included photopass, and the well-stocked spread of kid-friendly foods at their brunch buffet are worth the cost of admission. The cost for their breakfast buffet is quite high. The cost is $72 per adult, which goes up to $90 per person if you factor in the tip and gratuities. For children, aged 3-9, it's $41 per person. I'm not going to assume it's free for toddlers; however, I'm sure that information is easy to find. Again - if you are seeking a character dining experience without needing to enter the park, then definitely do this. If you go to Goofy's Kitchen during the Halloween season, you get to see the characters dressed in their halloween attire. We took pictures with Chip, Dale, Daisy, and Minnie. We had our picture with Goofy prior to entering the breakfast buffet. If you're looking for a great breakfast, then this is not really it. I appreciate the omelet station, breakfast potatoes, and mickey waffles. There's not really anything outstanding here; however, the PB&J pizza and smores pizza are a hit with kids. I'll keep my review of three stars specific to my personal perception of food and value; however, I would wholeheartedly agree with the idea that the value is much higher for persons bringing in family for meeting and greeting with characters. Consider this review with that in mind. To expand on my perception, I think the character dining experience at the Storytellers Cafe at Grand Californian is much better for adults, and only $5 more per person.
