if I could give zero stars I would !! This place is so dirty. We were guided to our table, was dirty. When I asked this girl for a rag so I could wipe down the table she ignored me. I had to walk to the front and ask someone else. Then the same girl came to take our drink orders and was so rude. Again I digressed and we proceeded to get our food. Everything looks like it's been sitting there for hours. Food is cold No flavor and for sure will get you sick, only thing I'll say that was good in that buffet line is the FRUIT ONLY!!! Flaming Buffet is an Asian AYCE that attempts to be everything to everyone but in the process not be great in anything. They have Chinese, sushi, hot pot, Mongolian, seafood and dessert. None of it I found that enjoyable. On a busy weekend evening, the place was a little chaotic, uneven in quality, and not tidy. First time trying this restaurant on a Holiday since Easter Sunday. Unbelievable didn't double or triple price what other restaurant reason its a Holiday. They kept there same regular price. This place is not bad to get your asian buffet cravings fix or if you plan to eat a lot. There's lots of parking since it is inside a plaza, but if you want to park close to the buffet, it is a little difficult since not far away, it shares the parking lot with the korean burger place that open up recently. The place is big enough to have big groups of people and they even have a party room as well. Service was quick. Now to the good part, for a weekend, the price is reasonable for about $25. You get mongolian grill that have short ribs and steak, dim sum, sushi (and sashimi), seafood, and dessert bar. Our church group has frequented this buffet restaurant more than other buffets. The food has been good enough to get our group to go again and again. The price is still reasonable and the food variety is good enough for my friends to want to go again and again. However, for me I felt that the quality of food need to be upgraded as for me, the taste was not that exceptional for me to want to go there again and again as my friends did. The first thing I step into this place is how they have a variety of food bar going from fried food, habachi, fruits, seafood, ice cream, soup, and more. Today, I got a few plates on seafood. The crab legs were decent lots of juice & not much flavor had to use lemon, salt, and pepper to dip the crab meat. There were some part of crab leg that was soft. Not a bad Asian buffet for the price and food! Parking was not bad but not good, the way the coffee place with their cones in the way and drive thru line for lotteria are nearby makes it seem like a mission to navigate... so we parked a bit far and just walked over. I was a bit hesitant at first since most Asian buffets started going down on quality and not much in keeping their food up to par such as replenishments. We came for a Sunday lunch so not too crowded but decent amount of people. Staff were very helpful, cleaned up and refilled our drinks in a timely manner. The place had plenty of seating and since the seating area surrounded the food area it was easy to navigate in and out. I'd like to point out some good food items I got which were the fried chicken wings (crispy and juicy when fresh), chicken feet (dimsum style and I love the flavor), crab heads (fried and lots of inners to eat), roasted duck (actually really good and plenty), baked mussels (creamy), and hibachi style grill (tried the meats only and it was delicious). Ice cream are in cup containers which is easy to grab, I'm not a fan of self serve scoops since most of the time they aren't very clean. Sushi was ok, rice had a bit more vinegar, but the raw fish my family said was good. They also liked the watermelon which they said was very sweet and crisp. They also liked the sweet potato's which were baked in foil and ready to grab near the grill. I did try some things I probably won't get again which was the shuimai (small and unusual taste), orange chicken (soggy and sour), coconut shrimp (ok but shrimp was tough), clams (a bit fishy), and spare ribs (tough and dry). Restrooms are gendered and have enough of stalls compared to other buffets which usually have 2-3. They were pretty clean and kept well when we went. Of all the things I tried, here are some more noteworthy items. - Seafood Asian soup - Orange chicken if fresh was ok but still had a bit of an artificial syrupy taste - Mongolian beef stir-fry was a hit with everyone in the restaurant. This place is great for what it is! Solid buffet with multiple choices. PARKING & LOCATION // It's located in a pretty large plaza with plentiful parking. It's a little complicated getting in and out of this specific corner restaurant but you can't miss it and the sign is huge. The inside of the restaurant is large with multiple rooms for seating. AMBIANCE // It's quite loud but spacious. You don't feel cramped at all. It feels very much like a classic buffet with multiple choices but everything feels spaced out. First off, when it comes to all you can eat buffets, I immediately manage expectations. I recognize that the food may not necessarily be the freshest as its been under a heat lamp for some amount of time, and that for the most part, not every dish is going to be a hit. However, Flaming Buffet is one of the places that actually surprised me quite a bit. For one, as I was being led to my table, I passed by an island that contained sections of raw seafood filled on top of ice. Admittedly, I was quite impressed upon seeing this. This kind of thing is definitely something I have not seen at any Chinese buffet until now. Overall, for the most part, there were a good number of dishes that were actually pretty good! In particular, some of the most noteworthy include: - Fried small crabs, which was seasoned very well. This was my favorite dish of the night, I came back twice to get this specific dish - Steamed crab legs on top of the ice I walked past when I entered - Orange chicken, you honestly can't beat that, period! - Mini bundt cakes for dessert. I got chocolate and red velvet. Although they were a bit dry, they tasted pretty good, and I've never seen mini bundt cakes at a Chinese buffet before Honestly, for an all you can eat Chinese buffet at roughly ~$30 per person including tax and tip, given what this specific place offers, I would definitely come back again! I think that their offerings are surprisingly unique for other similar places in the area and for the most part, things tended to be hit for me. On a final note, they recently started offering a hotpot addition for $10 per person. I personally would not go for it, just because having the buffet and hotpot options may get a bit overwhelming. The wait was too long and the price deal expired at the sushi restaurant so we turned around and went to this place. This place is huge with three spacious seating areas and well lit. The food was great and so was the customer service. Everything was great until I used the bathroom.
