Hi, first time here. Nice decor and plenty of booths. I moved here from LA and was spoiled with authentic Mexican food. I had the crispy beef tacos to play it safe. Plaza Mexico food and service is down right awful. the tamale was raw masa and the chili con queso looked and tasted like dog food mix in yellowish milk, "Yuck" with a capital "Yuck". don't waste your time or money at this place. the service was next to terrible. the three "Panchos" stood under BSing to each other and the hostess was down right rude. cross this one off of the list. read more

The tortillas aren't homemade which is weird for a place with Mexico in the name. Also, the cocktails have very little booze in them but they charge premium prices. Food was good but over priced. read more

This place is hit or miss. I come here from time to time with my husband for dinner and most of the time they're spot on but the other day my husband ordered the Three Amigos and it looked and tasted like warmed up cafeteria food thrown on a plate. It was very unappealing. Moreover, a few days later, my office ordered lunch from this place and my meal was just tasteless. It looked like a serving for a child. Needless to say I was very disappointed. Unfortunately, I think it's whoever they have cooking on that day that makes the difference. Whoever manages this place should take a day or three to watch the cooks and the one who does doesn't care about taste or presentation should be replaced with someone who does. read more

Not terrible food, but not something I'd order again. I got Enchiladas Supremos and it came with curry in the sauce. Not something I expected at all. I don't mind curry, but it just wasn't good on Enchiladas. I came with my two children (7 & 4), and they ordered Mac n cheese and chicken. The Mac n cheese was very small and even tried to.spread it out on the plate to mask it. The chicken was burnt. I won't be coming back. It was a nice interior and felt clean, and service was decent. We come from a geographic region where Mexican food is prevalent. Our favorites tend to me places staffed and patronized by the Spanish-speaking and I like to show respect by chatting it up in Espanol. I felt right at home here! Don't understand what all the hub bub is about Mi Pueblo, yeah food is alright but to wait in line for hours when you can go up the street to Plaza Mexico for a delicious meal and I never wait more than a few minutes at best.. Maybe I shouldn't rave about them so I have at least one decent restaurant to go to in SNOWBIRD season. Stay away, terrible, bad service, not really. Great for us locals with non-discriminating tastes. read more

This is my favorite Mexican food place. The Tacos Al Pastor are amazing! The green sauce that comes with them I wish I could bottle and take home!! They have a great Sangria as well!! Some of the best Mexican I have had... we recently bought a condo nearby and walked here our first night in town after closing. The server was attentive and the food was so good and the jumbo margarita was just what I needed (probably equal to 2 1/2 to 3 regulars). We will be regulars! read more

Just visited this fantabulous place for our third time in a month as we used to go down the road a mile to Venice & it was good also but we love this one better as menu is better with more choices, service is excellent & prices are as good as the other one we used to go to, very reasonable. Will be back also & is so close with no major road hazards on the way like the other one has, lol. Would definitely recommend even if just for a beverage as margaritas are fantastic with 3 different sizes & different amount of tequila shots in them, The more the merrier as they say. Were there on their last mariachi night & it was super so will be finding out their next one & be there again.. Take a shot & go, 90% will love it. read more

I'm from out-of-town & grew up in Virginia - totally reminds me of the first Mexican place, El Charo, that came to my small town USA. I'm loving the crispy beef tacos & guacamole!
