We bought a 2015 Porsche Cayenne from Justice a few months back, with the understanding that various parts would be fixed as parts came in. The first issue was a leak that lead to issues with the radio. We took the car in on two separate occasions before the radio worked fully, and this was after the mechanic, Tom, self-admitted that he "doesn't get the messages" from the customer service line. The second issue was the headlight. After multiple calls (and weeks of waiting) to Tom and Justice to check if the appropriate part had arrived, we were finally told to bring the car in for a quick headlight swap. My husband brought the car in. The headlight worked and looked fine, and he drove home. After the drive home, my husband noticed that the headlight wasn't pushed in completely. With little effort, the entire headlight housing came right out! We are frustrated to say the least. And despite Justice's willingness to repair issues, the mechanic's work leaves much to be desired. Like you, I'm typically distrusting of used car dealers. Yet, I bought my Model X Performance from Andrew back in March, 2021 sight unseen and had the car shipped from AZ to CA. Andrew was very accommodating and provided additional the photos and information that I requested to make me feel comfortable with the purchase.   This was refreshing coming from a host of sour experiences with other private parties and dealers who would refuse to take any additional photos or answer any of my questions! After paying the car was delivered the following week. As my purchase agreement stated the car was being sold AS-IS with no warranty. Unfortunately, not a handful of miles later one of the suspension arms failed. This is a known issue with the Model S/X. Andrew could have easily have told me I was out of luck but he and his team worked with me to make good of the situation. They had me send the car to Tesla and covered the repairs. Thank you! My wife and I bought a beautiful white 2014 Porsche 911 Carrara from Justice, and could not be happier. I had spent months trying to buy a CPO Porsche from several Porsche dealers across the US and had nothing but problems and up sale. I called Plaza Motors and Justice picked up the phone, no front desk person to go through hoops with, just a guy that likes selling cars. He sent me photos and a video of the car, I put a down payment and flew out the next day with my wife from Denver. Justice picked us up at the airport and took us to the dealership. The car was super clean and was right out front. We took the car for a test drive, then put it up on a rack and I checked underneath, the car was clean and had absolutely no leaks and the tires are almost new. Justice said that the night before the car started a little slowly, so he put in a new battery. Any other dealer would have just thrown it on a charger and sent us on our way. The car had two keys, a manual and a clean Carfax. We completed the paperwork in about 20 min and headed out to the car to drive back home. My wife opened the glovebox to put the registration in, and the glovebox handle came off. Not the dealer's problem anymore, it's a 10-year-old car in a dry climate, things happen. Justice had his service tech, Tom come out and he removed the glovebox, said he would order a new handle and ship it to us when he was done fixing it. While we were waiting, Justice loaned us a Tesla so we could go to lunch down the road. We came back and the glovebox had been taken out and all the parts were bagged up, and about three weeks later the fixed glovebox arrived and we installed it with no issues. Even the key worked. Super great place to buy a car, I have nothing but great things to say about this dealer. Justice and Tom were awesome!!!!!!! 2000 Porsche Boxster Review: It Went from Dream Retirement Car to Nightmare car right away upon delivery. Im in So California, I shopped online for my Retirement Car. I bought a 2000 metallic Grey Porsche Boxster on January 27, 2023 from them through the salesman Andrew (he was great, communicated well, sent many photos of the car, online paperwork) with the understanding that it would pass a smog check here in California because smog rules are very strict here where I live. I was assured that it would. I trusted them, i wire transferred them the money in full. Had the car delivered to me the next week. As soon as the car was unloaded from the delivery trailer. It had the check engine light with P1128 and P1130 codes on and a seat belt light on. I called right away to get this fixed. They had me contact Tom (a mechanic there i think). He didn't want me to take it a local dealership because it would cost too much to check it out so i took to a local shop to have it checked out. 1st results were to recommend replace Oil Filler Tube that was cracked to start, then a recheck. Tom had this repair paid for, then he said to just drive it until monitors clear, i drove it 350 miles and monitors did not clear. I spent a lot of time and gas driving it around. But he refused to pay for anything else even though my Implied Warranty of Merchantability states different. I was promised a car that would pass smog, it didn't. So i took it back to the repair shop and I paid out of my pocket to have the Air Oil Separator, a Breather Hose, a Mass Air Flow Sensor and a Gas Cap Replaced since they wouldn't do it. I also had to replace 2 Rear Tires as they were leaking air from inside sidewall cuts, i noticed the tires were low when the car was delivered and they kept losing air every couple days. After these repairs that I paid for that I shouldn't of paid for, Two and a Half Months later i finally got the monitors to clear and I got it to pass the Smog Check. This was my easiest car purchase i ever made at the front end. It was the backend that was a Nightmare that destroyed my confidence in this place with the lack of follow though. Oh by the way, the Seat Belt light is still on two and a half months after the purchase and the last time i messaged with Tom, he is looking for one at a local junk yard so it doesn't cost him much. After this situation happened, I wouldn't buy another car from here at all. My mistake was that i lived too far away to go see it in person. I spent a lot of time, gas and money to get this car to where it should of been when i got it in the first place. read more

I bought a Mercedes Benz SL 500 a couple of years ago from these guys. Put about 18,000 miles on it with virtually no maintenance issues. They arranged financing, and it was a pleasure doing business with them. So, getting older, just don't need that beautiful convertible anymore. Traded in the 2000 Mercedes, got blue book value, bought a gorgeous 2014 BMW with 48,000 miles on it. They arranged excellent new financing. Went to lunch, came back and signed papers, drove it home. After a trip to Yuma, noticed a couple of minor problems. A strange rattley noise on acceleration. A burnt out bulb. Buyer Beware. I strongly encourage anyone considering a purchase from Plaza Motors to LOOK ELSEWHERE NO MATTER THE COST. My experience has convinced me that the Plaza business model is to sell cars with significant issues they are able to mask with the bare minimum of superficial improvements - unreported accidents, mechanical failures, structural damage, a/c issues etc. The car may show well on the lot, but shortly after your two week return period, you'll may find yourself saddled with a black hole for your cash. Throughout my two-year ownership period with Plaza the quality, service and communication was nothing short of terrible. I deeply regret coming across Plaza Motors. Don't be fooled, one of their salesmen, Justice, pulled every single sleazy car salesman technique in the book. The interest rate they offered was nearly double market, although Justice assured me that was what was appropriate for my credit (760-780). I refinanced less then 4 months later for half the interest rate. The warranty they assured me was phenomenal and all-encompassing ended up being useless come time to make a claim. I have documented that Plaza took over 30% profit on the wholesale of the warranty. That's before I even got in the vehicle. Just after the two week return period, the issues started. I purchased just before the summer and soon found that the air-conditioning came with an awful mold smell that will require 600+ to do away with. The brakes soon began to squeal and Justice insisted "that's just what Audi brakes do." It turned out they used cheap replacement pads and I ended up having to replace the pads and rotors. The battery died at month 4 - again, from Justice: "that obviously has nothing to do with us." The check engine light came on about two months after purchase. This is when I discovered that the "wear and tear" warranty was a bait and switch. The warranty company denied everything, and hours on the phone led to nothing. I brought my car into the shop Plaza assured me "they use for all their vehicles," and after more than 9 visits, the light is still on my dash. They never offered anything that would cost Plaza Motors a cent. They never apologized or even acknowledged they'd sold me a bad car, financing or warranty. Justice was short, rude or unresponsive during many exchanges. To add insult to injury, the only thing he ever offered was a trade-in for a vehicle with an accident on it at a price that once again turned a big profit for Plaza Motors. Oh, and beware of their tax, title and licensing fees - I suspect they hide profit in there too. Purchasing from Plaza Motors has led to nearly 150% of the cost I meant to spend on my car after all of the repairs and headache in less than two years. It turned my excitement toward driving my first luxury vehicle into a terrible experience I'll likely remember for the rest of my life. GO ANYWHERE ELSE. Update 3/7/08: Plaza has finally decided to be responsive in replying to some of my reviews elsewhere. They've falsely stated they paid issues I mention above (I'm happy to produce the receipts for all of those items I paid for at my own expense) and doubled down on the rate and warranty they offered - all false information I'd be happy to provide evidence to refute. Anyone considering doing business with them please don't hesitate to reach out. At the very least, a conversation could save you a lot of money or get you a better deal at Plaza. read more

This is a long review, but well worth your time I purchased a vehicle from Plaza Motors that had several issues, including a major mechanical issue with the transmission that I was not made aware of until a week after my purchase when it leaked massive amounts of fluid all over my garage. While I would normally give a lower rating considering some of the unsavory things that went on, it is the resolution of the issues that is the redeemer. Firstly, we were straight up lied to about our trade in - a vehicle we bought for almost $30K 6 months ago. We were told they would be MAX listing it for re-sale at $21K, hence their low ball offer. They listed it for $25K - your typical slimy used car dealer crap. You're honest with them but can never get the same respect in return. Anyway, as for the issues with the Range Rover we purchased - several of the minor issues we signed with our contract for them to fix. However, under AZ law, the dealer is required to repair any major mechanical issues that prevent or significantly impact the ability to drive the vehicle (my transmission issue). I wanted the car repaired only at Land Rover by this point because I was extremely uncomfortable, and the guys at plaza motors were respectful of that. Because my vehicle could have been repaired elsewhere for cheaper, they put that money toward my repair at the LR dealership, plus a little extra for another issue with the vehicle that didn't impact the driving experience, but it was still pretty dangerous. Because of this resolution, I can't give the guys a bad rating. But I do not believe my vehicle was inspected prior to re-sale, and they also sold my friend a vehicle in which the horn didn't work (which they're repairing). If you are considering buying a vehicle from this dealership BRING A MECHANIC TO CHECK THE VEHICLE!!!! Do not trust a thorough inspection was done on your car, because it most likely wasn't. Most of my issues with this purchase are resolved, the big ones anyway, but I'm totally jaded by the stereotypical slimy used car salesmen experience and I will only purchase vehicles from the big names in the future, as I always have in the past. TERRIBLE! I'm not even sure they deserve 1 star! This place is located at 2600 Scottsdale Rd. In Tempe, Arizona. Flew in from Los Angeles in hopes to drive away in my new car. Was greeted by a sales associate who knew NOTHING about the car. The sales manager that I have been in contact with days before my appointment never came to talk to me or say "hello" in the entire 3 hour ordeal. Went to his office, and decided this personal phone call was more important than a waiting customer. Minutes later as I am waiting outside he comes out and decides to assist another gentlemen instead who had a trade in. MOST IMPORTANTLY: THEY LIED ABOUT THE CONDITION OF THE VEHICLE JUST TO GET ME TO FLY OUT FROM LA. Condition of the BMW: Grooved rotors, cracked brake pads, buff swirls all over the black finish (which is why they take all pictures of black cars in the shade). Tires worn, and was simply esthetically un-appealing. The sales manager's name is "Justice" which truly doesn't do him a Justice! This guy is the slimiest "snake oil salesman" I have ever had to speak with. No character what so ever. Need I mind you, this is a high end car dealership (BMW-Benz-Porsche- Lambo) Not the kind of treatment you should get from a place who "claims" to be top notch. Steer clear! I'm shopping for a car and did some research online for what I wanted. I found their website and saw a couple of cars that caught my eye. There's a button to submit an offer for a car, which I did....however, they never responded. Hmm...so I decide to drive down to the dealership to check it out. I saw the car there so I pulled in and walked over to take a closer look. It was really nice and I wanted to test drive it, but it was raining, so I told the guy I'd come back another day when it's dry. A few days later, it was gone. That was about three weeks ago. I recently bought a used Maserati in Phoenix, AZ. The car was located at Plaza Motors, but I dealt both with them and directly with the gentleman who still owned the car. My initial contact was with Justice Rovin at the dealership. From the start, Justice impressed me with his naturally friendly and extremely pleasant, easy-going manner. Although, as far as I know, he did not earn any commission, since I bought the car directly from the owner, Justice could not have been more helpful. Justice described the car as being absolutely perfect. He arranged with the owner to send me the service records. I flew from Baltimore to Phoenix to inspect the car. I was not disappointed -- in fact, not only did they not exaggerate, the car was more beautiful than I had imagined. It had been meticulously maintained by Ferrari/Maserati of Phoenix. Both Justice and the owner turned out to be the kind of people one would want as friends, not only as business associates. Despite having no financial stake in the matter that I know of, Justice could not have been more helpful in terms of taking care of paper work, and arranging the best possible deal on shipping the car to me at Baltimore. The whole experience (other than the flights in the USAirways Cattle Cars) was extremely pleasant. I expect the car to arrive in Baltimore in a couple of days, and I hope to keep it a long time. We found the car of my dreams and Justice took me out on a test drive. he was not pushy, did not give the run around sales talk that other places have given us. He worked with us as best on the price as he was able to. he made the process very easy and enjoyable. The last car I purchased, we were at the dealership 4 hours before all was done. By the time we were ready to purchase the car, we were there for less than an hour. Justice then followed up to make sure we were happy with the purchase, and then called to say he has a surprise for us. We had given him $500 as a down payment on the car to take it off the market and we thought it was deducted form the sale price. I was desperate to replace my Acura, but I couldn't find one that I was interested in unless I was willing to fly to Texas. So, I scratched Acura off the list, and widened the search. Of course, I want nice things with bells whistles but I don't want to pay much. I ONLY buy used, but I want it to look, act, drive like new. And, my husband had some criteria: 1. budget $10000 max 2. car payment could not exceed $275/mo 3. only $1500 down. Let the crazy internet searching begin. True to form, first car I drove I loved and was going to buy. However, that didn't work out (see review on BMW of N Scottsdale). Convinced now that I wanted a BMW Convertible, I found myself at Plaza Motors. Stopped by late one night. Andrew was nice answered all my questions, and then left me & my husband to look at the car in peace, kick the tires, point out the good/bad, etc. My husband thought it was the car. Running out of time & options, and not wanting a repeat of that experience in N. Scottsdale, I asked about deposits. Andrew was very thorough in explaining Plaza Motors policy. $500 to hold a car, non-refundable (and he explained why). I agreed to put down the money. The next day I was having doubts. I probably called Andrew 3 or 4 times that day. I even stopped by. I was all over the place. Wanted to buy, didn't want to buy.... Wandering the lot, I saw a nice 2001 BMW 330Ci coupe, low mileage. Not at all a convertible, but it looked really, really nice. I took it for a test drive, followed by more indecision. Andrew suggested I got talk to my husband, and take more time to think about it. All during this time, I am reading yelp reviews about every dealership in town, including Plaza. Geez, probably not a good idea. The next day (Saturday) I was up at 3 am searching the internet. I was convinced I could get a new 330 Convertible for low mileage & low money. Disco! I found it. I sped to the dealership and looked at the car. It was rougher than I wanted, but easy to fix and the price was great. The catch? It wasn't really the dealerships to sell, yet. WHAT? So the manager explained the situation, and I decided to pass. Back to plaza motors; I mean I had a $500 deposit there. Once I was on the lot, I took another look at that coupe. She was just so sexy..... My husband took it for a spin and looked at me like I was crazy. Hands down the best car we had driven. And did I mention the price, stupid inexpensive! Justice was great on getting me the finance terms I waned. I am paying less than on my Acura. He was patient and answered all my questions. I am sure the guys there got a chuckle out of it, but they didn't seem bothered as I read every piece of paper I had to sign, and asked a couple more questions. Justice, Andrew, and the crew @ Plaza Motors. I wanted a few things fixed (for free of course). They were honest about what they would fix at now charge to me and what they would get fixed and only charge me their price. I noticed a noise.... and they promptly said they would fix it. I bought the coupe, and about a week later picked her up. About a week later, I noticed 1 thing hadn't been fixed, so a quick call to Plaza and that was taken care of. I thought I had a really awesome experience buying my Acura. It was good, but PLAZA MOTORS was by far the best. Truly a hassle free, low pressure experience. I will and have recommended them to all my friends. Recently stopped by to pick up more business cards... now that is saying something! read more

What a disgrace of a dealership... Bought a Mercedes Benz from them and paid almost $600 in documentation fees only to realize that they have no plans to send the registration paper to the DMV so I can register my car . Three full months have passed and they keep giving me the run around stating that is is not their job to send any papers to the DMV. Call the bank they said, and the bank understandably told me to call the dealership back because this is not their job. I have contacted the attorney general's office for the state of Arizona and my attorney is preparing to file a law suit against those crooks. If they have no idea how to sell a car to a customer in another state, they shouldn't be doing so. Their license deserve to be suspended or voided completely so they learn to treat people with respect. Beware of super high fees for paperwork that will never arrive to it's destination. read more

Over the years, I have bought 6 used cars from Plazamotors in Arizona. Alex was always excellent to work with. Honest, straight forward and to the point. They would show me the invoice, and explain their profit over wholesale that they obviously have to make to stay in business. After shopping around, i would always go back to purchase from them. Basically, I have always gotten excellent prices without having to do the whole drama theater thing where you get up and leave for them to drop the price. Good people. Justice Rovin on internet sales at Plaza Motors is a real pleasure to deal with. I purchased a low mileage 2017 Acura NSX from him after having it inspected by an independent mechanic. The transaction was mostly via email, many emails I must admit, and a few phone calls. He did not partake in any opportunity to attempt to cheat, misrepresent or fast-talk on the deal. There was no nickel-and-dime haggling, simply his one-time standing fairly firm on his own need to make what I estimated to be a reasonable profit.
