Very good Chinese BBQ! We ordered takeout and got several different types of meats to try including the soy sauce chicken, honey bbq pork, and roast duck. All the meats were tender and flavorful while not too salty. The only negative I would give is that there is virtually no seating available if you wanted to eat inside the restaurant. It's set up more like a takeout only type restaurant.

Options for good Chinese food in Atlanta is limited, but one of my recent favorites is from Pleasant BBQ Garden. While there are some good spots in Atlanta for Chinese barbecue meats like Hong Kong Barbecue in Atlanta Chinatown, other places have gone downhill, whether it's in food quality or in service. We came during off hours and it was still pretty full inside (PRE COVID) - however there was a seat for us! We ordered the roast duck leg over rice ($0.50 more than the regular roast duck over rice) and the beef chow fun. Roast duck was on point - meat was tender and the juices flavored the rice it rested on. The beef chow fun was pretty standard - just greasy enough! I didn't prefer the ratio of bean sprouts to other ingredients (even though I love bean sprouts, generally). Overall, a tasty Chinese bbq spot that I'll need to stop by soon to try their wonton mee. Based on other reviews, they MAY be open...?! I will need to do a drive by soon to double check!

Came again on Christmas Day and ordered the usual dishes plus the followings: - BBQ combo: roasted duck, roasted pork and honey bbq pork. All are super delicious but I love the honey bbq pork. It's the best one I had in Atlanta. Can compete with stores in LA! - Chinese cauliflower with preserved meat: it was recommended to us and it was awesome! It reminded me of what I had when I was a kid in China for Chinese New Year.

Wow. Can't believe I found "Chow Fun" in Atlanta. This is the real deal, hole in the wall yes. Amazing food. I lived in San Francisco China town. This place is right up there with Sam Woo's. I love Chinese cauliflower, eggplant hot pot, honey pork. Can't go wrong. No sweet and sour chicken nuggets Sadly they closed.

If you're looking for HK style/legit Chinese food, come to this spot! I like this place more than Ming's BBQ. Only disadvantage of this place is it's really tiny so if there's a lunch rush on the weekends, may have to wait. This cute tiny place reminds me of all the cha chaan teng in HK with its decor. I've tried their wonton noodle soup and Peking duck - definitely did not disappoint! Prices are average as well. Located in the formerly known ASSI market plaza (now City Farmers Market), sandwiched between the Dollar Tree and Super Hibachi Buffet! :)

This restaurant has become my family's go-to for Chinese bbq, especially the roast duck. I love the duck here. It it bigger and meatier than the local standard. The best part? They are very well marinated so every piece is flavorful. Oh! And the skin is nice and crispy. The prices here are a bit lower than Ming's down the street. After tax, the Beef Chow Fun was $9.01 compared to the $10+ down the street. Visually, the dosh here isn't as nice but that's because they use less oil. Unfortunately, the noodles aren't whole, a lot of them are broken due to overcooking. It's ok though because the flavor is still great and I feel a little less pudgy eating it since the fish lacks that "glistening shine" that screams "oil overload!" The one complaint I have: I've been here on multiple occasions for wonton noodle soup and it takes FOREVER to make. It's taken anywhere from 10 to 20 minutes. Trying to grab a quick lunch makes this impossible.

We were in Assi Plaza and decided to grab a quick dinner around the area. For once, I didn't make my decision based on Yelp reviews, and it turned out to be a good one. This place is right next to a giant buffet, so I imagine it gets overlooked often. It's a small cozy restaurant with maybe 6-8 tables. The wall is plastered images of different dishes. Helpful for novices to Cantonese food. We ordered: - BBQ roast pork noodle soup ($6.99) - 2 BBQ Meats combo ($8.29) Food is authentic and flavorful. The meats were tasty. The flavor was reminiscent of what I would get in New York Chinatown/Flushing so that was a plus. I've slowly come to realize that Asian food in Georgia is pricier in comparison. Overall, comforting and satisfying. A hidden gem of the area.

I don't usually into Guangdong dishes, but this restaurant changed my life. I love everything about this restaurant. It's not hard to find parking outside. When you walk inside this restaurant, you can see they took real pictures of the food they made. For their dishes, their roasted duck is the best! And their other dishes are very good too. I will definitely recommend my friend to come here and come back again.

I'm not…read morea fan of having only skewers for lunch, but my partner insisted we give it a try and I'm so glad we did! The service was quick and friendly, the restaurant was clean and beautifully decorated with warm wooden accents, and the food was delicious. We ordered eight items off the menu, and while the Scallop with Garlic Sauce ($15.98) was a bit too garlicky for my taste, we enjoyed every dish we tried. The Chicken Skin ($6.99) was perfectly crispy, the Special Lamb and Fatty Beef ($8.99 each) were juicy, the Roasted Eggplant ($5.99) had a rich smokiness, and both the Roasted Enoki Mushrooms and Grilled King Oyster Mushrooms ($5.99 each) were fresh and packed with flavor. The Pork Belly with Enoki Mushrooms ($6.98) were especially delicious! They were flavorful without being overly porky. We'll definitely be back!

My favorite dish is probably the eggplant on rice. I'm also a fan of the fried salted egg corn. The egg drop soup is kind of standard fare and so is the fried pork. Enoki mushrooms were a hit but I felt like it was a small portion. My wife was also disappointed in the stir fried udon noddles. My least favorite dish is the shrimp. The shrimp looks pretty but it's just takes too much effort to eat it. The real reason to come here are for the skewers though. The lamb and fatty beef are good. They are not the best skewers but still great. Would I come here again? Yes but only with friends. It's quite a drive but it's in a nice shopping center. My friend says Friendship BBQ is nearby and better though.

Jin was our server and he was kind enough to answer a ton of questions even though he was so busy with other tables. He was great- all the meat was grilled to perfection and any side dishes (banchan) we needed was a quick request away. For 3- we crushed dinner. Got a combo, and two sides of Kalbi. Let's just say it was a LOT of food, but we also had soju/beer (somek) which also was enjoyed tremendously. You cannot go wrong here. They have combo meals; which are of excellent quality, or you can go with AYCE- still pretty good quality but you'll not get the marinated beef ribs in that way. Thanks to Jin for his patience and great service! Obviously I'll be back, this is my go-to charcoal BBQ spot here in town!

This time, I brought my friend who has never had Korean bbq before for her to try. We went right when it opened so it was quiet. I told the server it was her first time and he was eager to explain everything to her. I don't think she was prepared at all what was about to grace our table He brought out a cart full of side dishes and start to explain what each one is along with the flavor profile. When he got to the scallion salad, she was just not loving it, but he told her to at least try and see what she thinks (don't knock it til you try it!) Then he said they're still getting the charcoal ready so it'll be a few more minutes and my friend's eyes just (like what?) So we start with trying a bite of all the sides. She enjoyed everything except the sliced onion salad. Surprisingly, she loved everything else, including the scallion salad! She's a texture eater, so I was weary of her trying the tofu, but she really enjoyed that too! So... the charcoal comes out, and she's just Then the server brings the grill with the cheesy corn, spicy bean sprout, and he poured in the eggs. Followed by the meats! Since she didn't really know what she likes, I made a few suggestions and the server suggests letting him bring us the most popular items first and we can work our way through the menu. What a great idea!! Started with brisket and ribeye and wow ... meats were fresh, paired with the sides, and the dipping sauces, it's just chef's kiss!! We then had bulgogi and pork belly and those were just bursting with flavor! The cheesy corn was good but burned too fast on the grill, the spicy bean sprouts are amazing, and the steam egg is my favorite . The only downside is that if you don't eat those sides that are cooking on the grill right away they'll turn dry and burned and it won't be as good. The cheesy corn also caused some splattering to our hands when we were cooking the meats. The server apologized for the oil splattering since he heard the squeal immediately soak up the oil from the cheesy corn so the splattering would stop. Overall, my friend gave it 10/10!!!
