I was really looking forward to this visit since I haven't been here in years, but unfortunately,…read morethe experience fell short in several areas. I ordered the shrimp tossed in chili teriyaki sauce, as listed on the menu. The shrimp were fried extremely hard and arrived cold. Instead of being properly tossed in sauce, there was only a minimal drizzle on a few pieces, which made the dish feel incomplete and not as described. The catfish nuggets and fries were just okay--again, both arrived cold, which seems to be a consistent issue with food temperature. The bar experience was also disappointing. The green tea shots were not made correctly, and the "double" shot of Jack Daniels was poured more like a single. In addition, the menu did not include any drink options or pricing. While the waiter mentioned they have a full bar, having a drink menu (even a basic one) would make ordering much easier and more enjoyable, especially for guests looking to try something new. Service-wise, the waiter was clearly overwhelmed and not very available, but when she did come to the table, she was very kind and pleasant. No complaints about her attitude--just a staffing or management issue. Overall, there's definitely potential here, but improvements are needed in food temperature, menu accuracy, and bar consistency to elevate the experience.

We were grateful to have elevated seated as the night went on as it was packed!! We opted for the Tito's and juice set up as part of booth tab. I ordered the lemon pepper wings and oooowee yes cooked to perfection. The space isn't the largest but the decor is nicely done. Bar and food service were timely. DJ was great. Everyone appeared to have a good time and it only went up after Boosie arrived. Parking: large lot as it's in a shopping plaza. Premium parking was available for $60.

The biggest issue was the parking and entry process. It felt very unorganized. It didn't seem like the VIP parking signs were set up before the crowd started arriving, so people parked wherever they could, only to be told they had to move. Then, instead of letting everyone wait under the covered walkway, they kept directing people back into lines in the hot sun. Between the purse checks, security pat-downs, and confusion about where everyone was supposed to be, getting inside took longer than it should have. It honestly felt like the staff hadn't had a pre-event meeting and were trying to figure everything out as they went. They really need to improve that process because it put a damper on the start of the evening. Thankfully, once we made it inside, everything got much better. Our waitress, Indiana, was attentive and did a great job, especially considering how busy it was. We ordered our drinks, appetizers, and entrées all at once to stay ahead of the crowd, and the food came out fresh and delicious. I ordered the catfish plate with fries and collard greens, and everything was cooked perfectly. I also tried the cobbler egg rolls for the first time, and wow...they were absolutely amazing! They were so good I had two and had to stop myself from ordering more. I'll definitely be getting those again. Despite the rough start, the food and service made up for it. This place consistently delivers great food, and even with a packed house, the table service remained solid. If they can get the parking and entry process organized, the overall experience would be excellent.

Started with the ceviche, guac, and street corn as appetizers, and the plating alone was worth it: bright, bold colors that screamed fresh. For entrees we went with the snapper and shrimp tacos plus a shrimp rice bowl -- presentation was a 10/10 and the flavor matched. Our server Jesus was incredibly patient with our two very indecisive 7-year-olds (and yes, he was cute too ). Maria, the manager, even stopped by to personally invite us back for their mariachi on Sunday. Honestly tempted to go back the very next day. Highly recommend!

But all in all it was fresh and hot, and served quickly. The service was great although the young lady didn't mention her name. She was attentive and even the management or owner came to our table to check on us and to invite us to her other locations. I was trying to get her to look a a location in Cobb or Cherokee County Georgia. The ambiance was spot on for this type of Mexican Food. I would add a little soft music overhead when there is no live entertainment just to set the mood. The rooftop is a bonus plus the outdoor seating on the lower lever was great. I saw a guy smoking a cigar outside on the patio, but his seat was facing the inside bar. There's plenty of parking with handicapped parking available. Nice clean restrooms. I would highly recommend this place. I will be back soon.
