Went there to lease a new Ford. I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted, so that part was easy. Dealt with Cheryl and found her to be incredibly personable and helpful. No pressure, very knowledgeable. Patiently answered all my questions. Got me the exact car I wanted, and delivered it on schedule. Spent all the time I needed going over the (numerous!) features of the car. Overall, extremely happy with the experience. Do not under any circumstances by a used vehicle from this place. I purchased a 2016 F150 about a year ago and it has been in the shop a half dozen times for problems that were there when i purchased it and were not told about or lied to about. every time i bring it to get something done there is another major problem that costs me hundreds or thousands of dollars. i am absolutely disgusted with them and the lemon i was sold. If I could give zero stars I would.....lets start from the beginning. About 3 months ago my Bronco displayed a powertrain malfunction light and I scheduled an appointment for service. After I left my vehicle with them they called and said the AWD module was bad and they replaced it but when they went to program it my dashboard went black and they lost everything. They then asked what "I installed" under the dashboard, It Turns out what "I installed" was a dealer-installed loJack system by the dealer I purchased the vehicle from. The dealer had to send documentation over to them or probably I would have been charged for the module. mind you this whole episode took a whole week and they don't do loaners....so you are up $hitts creek if you need your vehicle for work. Possibly the worst dealer I have ever dealt with....AVOID at all costs if you can!!!!! read more

The WORST service experience I've ever had and that includes the DMV and Cablevision! They had my car for almost 4 months! Constant bs excuses about delays with the repair. When I finally got the car back the door check was missing on the drivers side door. They told me it must have fell off! (its bolted to the door with 3 bolts). Horrible. Drove an hour to this dealership to trade in a Porsche Macan Turbo for a new Mach E GT. Walked in and asked about the car and informed the salesman that I wanted to test drive it before I buy it. He said I can test drive it after I buy it, which makes no sense. How can I see how blue cruise works on this $60K car without getting it demo'd to me? Then he told me the specs are on the internet and to go look. Shortest, least intelligent conversation I've ever had at a dealership and I walked out. Went to the Tesla dealership, test drove one of their cars, and ordered a Model 3 performance the same day. read more

Dropped my car off with appointment Thursday AM for an oil change, tire rotation and the front left axle needed replacing. It wasn't ready for pickup until Saturday lunchtime right before they closed so had to go back Monday. Had a coupon on fridge that if you spent $400+ on a service you got $40 off. I forgot to bring it with me - when I called back when I got home they wouldn't honor it as the transaction was complete. Just poor. read more

The service here is horrendous. Leasing a very expensive car, they don't offer any loaners and need to take my car for days at a time for repairs so I am forced to rent a car out of pocket. Joke. brought my Mach E with 10k mikes in for a quick tire rotation and inspection. had an 11:30 appointment and they didn't complete it until 3pm. Not only that, they changed my cabin air filter without asking or getting permission. $30+ for the filter, $80+ for labor. I didn't ask for this. I bought the car brand new from them last year and would have used them for our next purchase but I will never use this dealer again. read more

I returned my Ford Explorer after the lease ended with 23k miles in great shape. I recieved a large bill from Ford credit for damages, which I knew had to be wrong. Ford credit produced pictures of my interior with moulding cut-out of the interior doors and the back plate-all gone. Luckily I was wise and took photos of the car on day of return. This dealership will be charged with criminal charges for falsyifying and causing intentional damages. I am a senior citizen this is a tragedy. read more

The absolute worst experience I have ever had with the service department of a car dealership (or any other customer service department for that matter). I would give them zero stars if I could. My 6-month old Mustang Mach E died and would not re-charge and I had it towed on a Friday to Pleasantville Ford because they were the closest dealership to my home. The first thing they told me when I called to arrange to drop off the car was "well we're not going to get to it today!" (no "so sorry to hear you're having trouble with your new car" or "we'll take a look as soon as possible and let you know"). They in fact didn't look at it on Friday afternoon and since the service department was closed over the weekend, they said it would have to wait until Monday. When I didn't hear anything back from the service manager by late Monday morning, I called to check on the status of the car and was told they hadn't looked at it but would "try to get to it this afternoon" and would call me later with a status. When they (of course) didn't call me back as they had promised by 5:00, I had to call them again and was told they still hadn't looked at the car. Each time I called, rather than treating me like a valued customer who was understandably upset that my brand new, expensive car was not working, they acted as if I was inconveniencing them by calling. So now my car had been sitting with them for 3 days and I have absolutely no information on what is wrong with it. Same story on Tuesday morning (day 4). Still no call from the service manager all morning. When I called them at around noon they said that (finally) someone was looking at the car and they would call me back later with an update. They never called me back Tuesday. Same story on Wednesday morning (day 5). I again had to call them and was told the person I had been dealing with was off and the head of service was looking into it and would call me back. When an hour passed and I hadn't heard from him, I called the service manager who knew nothing about the car, had no idea if the car had been looked at on Tuesday (as I was told) or if anything was discovered and he incredibly told me that (after 5 days) they would "try to get to it today". At that point, I was so frustrated with their lack of concern and unprofessionalism, that I had the car towed to Stamford Ford who were far more helpful and courteous than Pleasantville was. They diagnosed and fixed the problem within 30 minutes after getting the car! Do not ever deal with Pleasantville Ford. They are terrible. read more

I had the pleasure of working with Bob on my newest Ford lease. He was incredibly prompt with a quote via email. When I showed up for my appointment, I was in and out in about 15 mins. No nonsense. Everything up front. Very very easy. I came back a few days later to pick up my new car and had the exact same experience. In and out in 15 mins. All of the paperwork was exactly what he'd promised. If I could give zero stars I would. My car was towed there the first week of March and I didn't get it back until the last week of March. It was there for over 4 weeks and I called many times and I either didn't receive a call back or got hung up on. When I did get in touch with them, they would tell me one thing and tell the Ford company another. I was left carless for weeks. One of the service men told me and one of my friends that called that he would pay for my rent a car for 3 days and it would come out of his own paycheck. Needless to say, when I did pick up my car, the story changed and he said he had to get it approved first so I lost over $150 and my job since I didn't have a car or rent a car for weeks. Days later after I picked up the car, I had to bring it back because it didn't have any power. The service man told me I had a bald tire which my car was sitting there for weeks and they didn't tell me this prior. Its not safe to drive with a bald tire and if I didn't bring it back I wouldn't have known. I brought my car somewhere else to get a new tire. I do not recommend this place. I also have a friend who leases a car from there and she said she has called them more than several times because she has recalls on her car and they never called her. read more

We have left my 2017 Ford Escape there 5 times for the same issue and it is still not fixed despite being promised each time that they know exactly what the problem is. Though I cannot comment on the Sale's Department at this Ford Dealership, I have had less than stellar experiences with their Service Department. Luckily, I purchased an extended warranty when I bought my 2011 Ford Escape in 2016, as some issues have arisen where I've had cause to use it. I decided to take it to Pleasantville Ford; who better to fix a Ford than Ford, right? The 1st time around, I encountered rude customer service, but this time, I was told that I needed repairs I didn't actually need (battery only at 20%, which was a blatant lie). Not only that, they incorrectly reported that I need a new catalytic converter to my warranty company, which they immediately declined because it's not covered. I have an exhaust leak, nothing more or the check engine light would be illuminated. Twice I have called to speak with the General Manager, Cheryl, but was never told she was out for the day. Sent to her voicemail, which was "full". I see others on here have similar issues with their Service Department. I'm going to keep calling until I actually get a chance to speak to the illusive, Cheryl. After posting about my experience on social media, it turns out I'm not alone in disliking this particular dealership. Shame on them. This woman wasn't born yesterday! read more

Don't ever purchase a car from here or even bring yours in for service! They are liars and thieves. I bought my Ford Fusion in 2014 from a different dealer but brought it to Pleasantville Ford a week ago when my key broke. The key broke in my hand and was never stuck in the ignition. There were no problems with the car, all I needed was a new key. The only thing that Pleasantville Ford needed to do was to program the new key that I purchased from them. Instead, they told me that my broken key was stuck in the ignition (it wasn't) and that they would call me back with a "price quote" to replace the ignition. After 6 hours of me calling them and zero returned phone calls, I spoke with the owner of the dealership "Tony," who advised me that the ignition had been drilled apart and that I owed them an additional $500 to replace it. I never authorized them to touch my ignition, and further, was never even told that this was what they were doing (despite my 10 phone calls that day). Not only that -- this was not necessary, as the broken key was not stuck in the ignition when I dropped the car off there! Ultimately, I had the car towed to a privately owned shop in White Plains, who fixed my ignition for much cheaper than what Ford had quoted me. I am now suing Ford to recover the money it cost me to fix the damage they did. There are several other Ford dealerships in the Westchester area, avoid Pleasantville!!! read more

I have been a car owner for over 30 years, have owned more than 8 Fords thru that time and dealt with many many car dealers. The bottom line is a routine service has turned into an over 2 month ordeal that is just in excusable. The car was brought in serviced, no issues. Directly afterwards was having issues which were almost immediately diagnosed as the possibility but after 6 different times in and out then it was Ford HQ (or so I'm told) time to test every possible other cause to blame the consumer so as not to be on the hook for a warranty drivetrain issue. Then told after weeks that it is finally approved to be done that a part can't be found for another couple of weeks ? This is a 2 year old common model car and it is a major component of the engine. Then when everything is back together now there is a transmission issue. All the time you can call the " service" department and approximately 20 percent of the time get someone on the phone. Otherwise have to leave a message and pray someone calls you back. I have left over 15 messages in the 8 plus weeks they have had the car and never been called back. I usually have to call a second or third time or the next day. This experience has soured me on Ford and particularly the " service" they and their dealers supply. The sales department. Is good because I have purchased a vehicle from them in the past but don't ever use the service department other than for an oil change. read more
