Great food great service, always great atmosphere the food doesn't make me feel bloated just satisfied

Dare I say best vegan burger I've had to date?! A major win for the plant based :) Ordered via Uber Eats and received a delicious package. I got the PLNT Burger Meal: Cheeseburger, Herb Fries, Mandarin-Cardamom Juice (you can pick from a variety of options for the 3 items) The cheeseburger was Beyond Meat and the whole item was lushishly delicious. Reminded me of a Shake Shack burger but actually tastier. The Herb Fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I paired this with the Bloomies sauce which was a divine sweet tangy sauce. The Mandarin-Cardamom Juice was so refreshing. A nice orange citrus beverage that felt healthy to drink. Also came with a paper straw. This meal was so satisfying. You wouldn't even know you weren't eating meat. So glad DC has Vegan options! If I lived here I would probably be getting this weekly. read more

I ordered takeout (I believe it must've come from their new Alexandria location, given the proximity to my home address) excited to try a vegan meal given all the positive reviews. I ordered the mushroom burger and herb fries (large size). Never have had a mushroom burger, and I am generally skeptical of vegan food, but it was DELICIOUS, flavorful, spicy. I did not feel like it was greasy or heavy but just perfect. I was a bit disappointed with the portion size. The large size of fries seemed more like a small, which made me wonder how sparse their small portion must be. I also ordered a chocolate chip cookie (because why not??) and was glad to see it was freshly baked as far as I could tel. Overall, the food is so delicious, I just wish the portions were bigger! read more

Hands down 5 stars! I ordered from here via UberEats the other night and tried the Crispy Chik'n Funguy Sandwhich and PLNT Salad. It was hands down the best "chicken" substitute I have found and the salad was refreshing! It was so good, I stopped in the location today. The customer service experience sealed the 5 star deal! I was quickly greeted by the staff, they were friendly and super helpful. I was stuck between ordering the Chik'n sandwhich again or trying the PLNT Mushroom Bacon BBQ Burger. I ordered from PLNT through Uber Eats. Ordered the salad, burger, chili bowl and crispy chick'n funguy sandwich. Underwhelming on many levels. The salad came with a dressing that somehow made the salad worse than what it already was. The burger needed an additional beyond meat burger patty to make it anything other than an appetizer. I had the Double cheeseburger and it was delicious. I have never eaten a real burger, so I can't tell you the comparison but I like the texture and the flavors. Caramelized onions are a nice touch to the flavor. I also had their green beans on the side instead of the fries and the Oatly mint shake - so yummy! We ordered in from PLNT burger and were overall pretty happy!!! We ordered the chickn sandwich and fries and an oat milk shake. The prices were very reasonable and the food was delicious. The burgers were a little salty and I think the travel time made them a little soggier and hard to eat. I think next time I'll stick with the beyond meat. tried the new fiesta burger... it was under whelming. the construction was poorly dome, I don't like sloppy burgers where all the contents are spilling out of the bun.. not enjoyable. also, that weird bean paste at the bottom could be left out. it was too many mushy flavors and for $10.. I'd like more than one tiny slice of tomato and an oversized piece of lettuce and wasn't even crispy by the time all the other contents were pilled on it. over all, not an enjoyable experience. the flavors weren't anything Wowing..... Ate here 3 times. While I'm not a vegan, I wanted to like it because I like eating vegan a day or two a week. This is also close to my apartment and it's inexpensive. The food was overly greasy and salty every time (and not in a good way). Tasted like dirty oil. It was pretty bad every single time. I guess you get what you pay for? This place is incredible! My favorite sandwiches are the Save The Bay (faux fish) Fillet and the Steakhouse Burger. The new faux chikn Lil' Dippers are super good too. The fries are great too. Just make sure to buy extra dipping sauces as the containers are quite small. My only complaint is that the Save The Bay needs to come with more sauce on it. That's it! Still this chain is a 5 star experience and I hope someday they are nationwide. read more

Ok, I very hardly put a review on yep, this might by my 3rd review in 5-7yrs. I like to eat vegan/vegetarian during the week so during my lunch break I decided to try this as it was on my way. I'm so pissed, first the service was bad, please train your ppl, they seemed clueless. Second, I got the spicy chicken sandwich made out the oysters mushrooms, and I can hardly bite into it. If you main menu is plant burgers, then your plant burgers should be amazing. Something to be proud of, as I'd like to support this business and I had very high hopes that this was going to be my new place to go to as I live close by. My new love! Especially the Chili N Cheese made with Beyond Meat sausage and the Crispy Chik N Funguy Sandwich made with Oyster Mushrooms fried in Sunflower Seed oil. I was so excited when Whole Foods opened these locations inside the already wonderful stores, but then I actually had eaten the food and was instantly hooked. I've enjoyed the PLNT Cheeseburger on many occasions, but lately the classic sausage with a little chili, raw onions, and mustard has been my go-to. I received a call from Jonah and our conversation, as well as his assurance on the update of food safety, made me feel significantly better. At first it was just at Ubereats because I placed the order through them and they somehow managed to miss a whole sandwich from my order. ( One Bbq 'bacon' cheese burger and One 'chicken' burger. Both of which were meals so how can you remember to pack the fries and drinks and the side salad but not remember to pack the burger. But what ever) my Husband ate his fries (since his burger was missing and didnt want to take my burger) and we split the bbq burger, which was actually amazing. BUT THEN, as I begin to eat my fries, I find A F***ING HAIR IN MY FRIES, A HAIR THAT STILL HAD THE DAMN ROOT ATTACHED. I CANT EVEN EAT THE REST OF THE FRIES AND SALAD AT THIS POINT BECAUSE I FEEL SICK! What kind of establishment are you running where people drop HAIR IN CUSTOMERS FOOD. Love PLNT Burger! Thank you Whole Foods for giving us something to indulge in. Everything is good but my favorite is the double cheeseburger with the Bloomies. This store is inside of Whole Foods. You can park in the garage and have your receipt validated for 90 mins. They have a great selection of plant based burgers and vegan options. The sweet potato fries are delicious and so filling. You can get any burger as a meal to include organic juices. The vegan ice cream is good also. read more
