Extremely Disappointing Experience at Pluckers We sat at the bar expecting to grab some drinks, wings, and have a good time. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill pretty quickly. When we sat down, we actually had to ask the bartender to wipe down the bar area. That probably should have been our first clue. We ordered our food and then waited OVER AN HOUR for it to arrive. After waiting that long, you would at least expect the food to come out fresh and hot. Nope. You guessed it -- the food arrived COLD. We spoke with the manager, who did apologize, but honestly didn't seem particularly concerned about the situation or interested in making it right. After sitting there for more than an hour waiting on cold food that we couldn't enjoy, they still charged us for the two drinks we had while waiting. Seriously? Mistakes happen. Kitchens get backed up. We understand that. But good customer service is about how you handle the mistake once it happens. An apology is appreciated, but when a guest waits more than an hour and receives cold food, simply saying "sorry" and handing them a bill for their drinks isn't exactly making things right. We came to Pluckers to have dinner -- not to spend an hour sitting at a dirty bar waiting for cold food. Very disappointing experience and even more disappointing customer service. read more

Had lunch at the restaurant on a Tuesday and there was plenty of seating. This was my first time at this location. They have nice screens and the sound is not so loud that you can't enjoy the atmosphere. It's very clean and welcoming as I was seated promptly. My server was super nice and my order came out in about 15-20 minutes but they came to check on me and I felt well-taken care of. The service was good. I had the spicy parm and cheese wings with waffle fries as a lunch special. They don't have sweet potato waffle fries at this location. I'm not sure if it's location based or they removed it off the menu. It sounded like they've not had it in the past year at least. It took a minute to get my check as business started getting busier around noon time. Definitely would come back but might not order the spicy version of the parm and cheese because it was a bit on the soggier side. The waffle fries were also a bit limp. However, the service was friendly and the wings are based in personal taste so I'm giving it a slightly higher review. The wings were big and tasted better the next day as leftovers. read more

I came in for lunch at the San Antonio USTA area. I sat at the bar and it was relatively busy but past regular lunch time. I have to say the wings were amazing. I ordered wing in the Bakers Gold and the were everything. Crispy spicy sweet and savory. This place came highly recommended and I am so happy I stopped in. The mozzarella sticks were honestly amazing. No one has anything on the cheese pull of this place. Be careful because it has so much cheese I choked a little bit. The restaurant has TV screens to watch games and a great selection of beers and drinks. Very local bar vibe laid back. I will note the service wasn't amazing I don't get napkins or any cutlery. It's the first time I'm disappointed at this Pluckers. I have given this location many thumbs up, and good reviews, however if you guys are coming in late.. just don't come in AT ALL. We sat at the bar where Evie immediately said at 11:00 pm (they close at 12pm) said : "you know where almost closed right?" .. she continued to take our order in a very unsmiling way while cleaning the bar area. We ordered the boneless wings basket ($16) and a side of Mac and cheese because there wasn't any more waffle fries availabe... the food was not well served at all. I've worked in the service industry for 7+ years, so I'm usually the most patient person in the room, but my experience at the Landmark location on March 10, 2026, was unacceptable. We waited 45 minutes for wings and fries that never arrived. The second I finally asked to have the order placed to-go, the food miraculously appeared in less than a minute. To make matters worse, the server tried to tell me I "didn't order fries" (I did), and then brought out a side of ranch with no lid for a to-go order. I still tipped well because I know the grind, but if you don't want to work late hours, find a different job. Management needs to train this staff on accountability and basic order accuracy. I'll be taking my business to a different location from now on. Do better. read more

This is a great Pluckers location. The manager's name is JR and he was awesome. JR visited me at my table to see how I was doing and was very friendly. The whole staff were very friendly and very accommodating as well. A+ customer service all around. I was at Pluckers for lunch on MLK Day 2025 and I had a great time. I had joined their membership for $10 every six months and chose the gold level. It came with a free appetizer for joining and I got the Holy Macaroni. It's fried mac and cheese. It was very good. The main event was my main entree. I really enjoyed the Honey BBQ Chicken Chop salad with honey mustard dressing on the side. I added bacon to it because bacon makes everything taste better!The salad was exactly what the doctor ordered. I housed that salad(that means I ate it all). Pluckers is a fantastic place for food and drinks. The decor is perfect for any sports lover out there. I highly recommend this place and specifically this location. read more

The atmosphere was fine because it was a spurs game, but the desire to please the customer was non existent. The two times I went to the restroom, the paper towels were out and had no way to dry my hands. Additionally, I slipped onto the WET TILE (wearing my brand new shoes) because there wasn't any mats or grip. No caution signs or anything. If you're into lawsuits, this is the place for you.
