I love this place! It's so cute inside, the staff are super friendly, and the drinks are delicious. It's a fun way to pass time with friends and some board games. Score a seat by the window for some people watching! (Note: don't try to come by on a super hot day because the glass windows make it very stuffy inside)

A great place to meet any time of day. Parking is pretty easy on the street. We had the mushroom omelet and avocado toast. Both were very good. The coffee was great. Rich flavor. Service was pleasant. I'd recommend this for a bite or for board games, or both. A nice addition to Broadway.

I am so glad I found this spot - I can see myself visiting again very soon! I was here with a colleague for brunch on a Wednesday afternoon and I really needed some good comfort food. I ordered the pandan matcha and I got the chicken panini - so much goodness in this order! I loved how simple yet flavorful the panini was - I usually prefer them extra toasted and the server made sure it was perfectly extra toasted. Not too much to have crumbs all over SF - just perfect ! The pandan latte which I got as a hot drink - was so perfectly made. Loved my experience here! They have ample seating and quite a few spots by the large windows which are nice if you like to people watch. I will be back soon!

First time trying this place. You can order through QR code, through her iPad or cash register. You pay before getting your ordet which is nice. This is a good place for small bites and fun place for hangout and catching up while playing board games. The quiche was so good, but I wish the size of the quiche was bigger with the price. Overall had a good time, downside is parking. It's self-serive so you do clean up after yourselves.

I love this place! Staff and owners are super friendly and the vibe inside is fun! Drinks and food are top notch and let's not forget about the plethora of games they have for customers to play and enjoy while they sip on their drink!

We had a delayed flight and decided to walk to this awesome Cafe. The place is clean and bright and modern and the food it legit delicious and healthy. prices were half the price of our boring hotel. Service is self order and fast!

The table next to us saw it was our first time and said "youre in for a treat!" I could already tell, decent amount of seating and the sun shines into the huge windows of the establishment beautifully. Cozy, great vibes. Its very popular and well loved by the community. The menu is expansive enough where i think everyone can find something. I do think it was a tad expensive but you gotta support your small shops. Interesting selection of drinks, i got spicy chai and theres definitely a heavy kick to it. Lots of board games available as well. You can also bring your own, first hour is free but after that its $5/hour/person. Please also mind the time limitation for laptop usage. They have to run their business and rotate the tables for others. That's totally fair!

What a cute cafe! This a board game cafe that seems very cozy. You pay $5 for an hour of play and some are free for 1 hour with purchase. I like that they label games according to easy, medium, hard, etc. I just came for a drink and I sat outside. I tried the Spellweaver. This had strawberry puree, matcha and milk. It was so delicious and not too sweet! I love that the puree tasted fresh. I feel like this is a great place to come with friends or to have a breakfast meal too so I'll have to try it.

This is cool concept of a cafe and went to check it out w my friend but w soy milk and tip two lattes were $20 served in a tiny very pretty but tiny cup; only to learn that most board games are not free but $5 per hour. There is a small shelf with limited free options. Daminos were missing pieces and tiny cup of pumpkin latte which didnt hit the spot to begin with became cold very quickly since it was served lukewarm. Cute concept but Im good with $10 coffee.

This place is absolutely amazing! We got the privilege to talk to the owner and he was so kind. He saw that my daughter wanted to try the banana bread but we didn't get it and he gave us a slice on the house just so she could try some! The food and drinks were just incredible, I've never had the change to try a banana latte before and it was so good. The food was fresh as well and everything tasted amazing. The seating inside was nice and sunny with a view out the window

My matcha latte is robust, creamy and fresh. Unlike a lot of cafes that try to get on the wagon of matcha, this one is hand-crafted. Service is nice as ppl here are friendly and easy going. The deco is unique with a lot of board games. The wood tables here add a sense of nature. The long community table is very beautiful.

This place is super cute! I can with my sister after lunch as we were in the area and wanted a sweet treat. The cafe is soooo cute! The artwork on the walls is amazing and adds to the vibe. I didn't realize that this cafe was more of a sit down but we got our drinks to go. I got the hojicha strawberry cream and my sister got the latte sunkeeper with oatmilk. Both drinks were so good! The cashier was super nice and brought our drinks to us. Will definitely be back to try other menu items!

Decent cafe place that offers board games. Came kind of early and it was mostly just parents bringing their kids here so they can pick up some random board game and let their kids just bang on the pieces on the table while they ate. The options of board games looked extensive but I'm not sure how many of them had missing pieces judging from how the patrons used them. Food tastes good, but portion size is on the skimpy side. Service was great everyone was kind. Minus 2 stars mostly because I didn't like the portion sizes and it was pricey.

The cream top is so good and has a super strong pistachio flavor. Would highly recommend the cheesecake too -- it's super light and creamy at the same time because it has multiple layers. Maison Alyzée is a French fine pastry bakery café located on downtown Burlingame's main strip. Dedicated to providing customers with a Parisian escape through handcrafted elegant pastries and artisanal breads, the bake shoppe doubles as pâtisserie and boulangerie, priding itself on meticulous attention to detail. Upon entry, we were welcomed by a brightly lit and very clean venue. Ray and I were immediately drawn to the beautiful marble-topped white counter that encased a gorgeous variety of exquisite treats. The commitment to the elegance of French culture and modern creativity were evident in every luxurious pastry and cake on display. Maison Alyzée is an order-at-the-counter establishment, so we made our purchase with a friendly staff member at the register. Unfortunately, we were told that espresso drinks were no longer available that night since the staff had already begun cleaning the machines. Ok....I never understand businesses that start shutting down things before closing time. This just shows customers that team convenience of closing shop quickly takes precedence over customer experience, essentially omitting availability of items from the menu while they are still open. For this reason, I am docking a star. Luckily, they still had some cold brew available, so I ordered a Lavender Cold Brew with oat milk. Heads-up: Plant-based milks like almond and oat milk incur a $0.75 surcharge. I wish that the lavender was more like a simple syrup, so that the flavour was sweeter and less sharp. Maison Alyzée also offers a selection of breakfast, lunch, and brunch options. I definitely need to return to try one or two or a few of their ostentatious delights.

I visited Maison Alyzee in Burlingame on a Saturday morning, and while the pastries were good, the service felt cold and dismissive. There was no rush, yet the staff was not warm or welcoming. The response was "It's in the oven" was delivered rudely, as though my simple question was an inconvenience. Even when a café is busy, basic courtesy and communication should not be optional. Good food deserves to be matched by good hospitality.

The prosciutto and fig jam toast stands out to me because the saltiness of the prosciutto is balanced with the sweetness of the fig jam. The matcha rose latte was really good, I asked for less sweet, which I prefer, and the drink wasn't bitter because of the adjustment. The waffle sampler was a sweet treat to share. It's not too sugary, but will definitely leave you feeling heavy. One note: the actual churro on top of the whipped cream was stale. Bit on it thinking it would be soft. Ouch! The banana and cream waffle I tried too! The waffle base tasted a lot like the churro one, but it is definitely a better choice if you're looking for a more simpler dish.
