I like Equator coffee... I'm happy this location opened. Waiting this past Sunday was rough considering it was Mother's Day morning. They have good quality coffee beans and coffee. The selection of pastries is always a plus. I love the merch offered as well, almost bought a corduroy hat for the hubs. Overall Equator is a coffee spot I've returned to time and time again. It's not a daily occurrence but definitely worth the intermittent times during the year. Nice to go out on a sunny day with the coffee and pastries take a walk and sit by the water out nearby.

I had a winter seasonal iced coffee here once and it was eh, but the banana matcha cloud was soooooo good. It was more of a banana bread matcha instead of just banana. It's seasonal, but I wish it was year round! Service was fine and the ambiance is okay. The drink was $8 which is unfortunately kind of normal nowadays.

    1/2 hour wait, ridiculous

Updated back to five stars. There was no wait yesterday at 12:30 pm on a Sunday. My food and drinks came out within five minutes. We had two croissants and two drinks $20.50 and anticipated the wait to be around 30 minutes like usual. If you see a crowd of people waiting, walk out and go somewhere else. It won't be fast. The long wait times are due to mismanagement. It is not the workers' fault.

This Equator has been my staple. While this one doesnt have the views of Golden Gate Bridge, you do get a nice waterfront view of the Bay Trail and plane landings. There are some seating inside and outside. Drinks are generally on point, it could be a hit or miss on the seasonal, but mostly a hit. If you're not in for a giant cup to sip on, try their shakerato, its like an iced cortado. I used to get their lavender latte often, but havent seen that on their menu. For a coffee shop, their matcha isn't too bad. Ive heard great things about their frittata sandwich, have yet to try it. Oh and they have free equator jaguar stickers at the counter!

Equator Coffees continues to prove that coffee can be both art and ritual, especially when it comes with a perfectly poured cappuccino. I ordered a cappuccino (see photo), the latte art deserves its own fan club! And it was as smooth and balanced as ever. A mix of creamy foam, bold espresso, and that signature Equator richness that makes you smile after the first sip. As usual the service was top notch, space was filled with the cutest pups, what a joy!

Accidentally stumbled across this place on a day out and decided to give it a try. It's a pretty small space and busy but I didn't mind, it was the weekend so I expected it to be a little busy. I ordered the iced caramelized banana latte and it was really good. I'm not sure if all drinks come unsweetened but they have a station of sugar, cream, and syrups so you can adjust it to your liking. I'll definitely come back the next time I'm out here!

The coffee was pretty good! I like the veggie frittata! The views are really why I like this location. The service was pretty good and will definitely return.

This was my first time trying Equator Coffee, even though I've heard great things about the chain around the Bay Area--and I think it lived up to the hype! There are a few designated parking spots around the corner, which made things easier given how busy the area gets (especially being so close to the Meta offices). Inside, the space is somewhat limited seating, but that's to be expected at a popular spot like this. I ordered a specialty latte for March 2025 and really enjoyed it--smooth and flavorful. If you ask for light ice (as I always do on chilly days), they won't fill the drink to the top, which felt a little underwhelming. A sweet touch I noticed: they keep dog treats at the counter near the sugar and utensils station, which I thought was super thoughtful for pet parents passing through. Looking forward to coming back to try a pastry or food item next time!

Matcha latte with strawberry cold foam

I came here Saturday afternoon, quick order but took forever to get probably like 15 mins not worth it at all! The cold foam with the matcha was good but without the cold foam the matcha was bland highly don't recommend. The avocado toast was a huge disappointment. The staff is very bored like they'd rather be anywhere but there so overall it's a really negative experience. Not a coffee shop happy mood place! Go anywhere else!

I like this Equator! It is a well-known coffee chain in the Bay Area, but one I less frequently visit. My coworker suggested I visit this location. The coffee shop is exactly what you'd expect. I visited Equator Coffees in the late afternoon. Despite it being a weekday, the cafe was packed. A handful of customers chatting outside, working inside, and waiting for their drinks. The shop is spacious and minimalistic, with tables where you can work and hang out. Plus, there is an even more airy and open outdoor seating area. I found service to be average. Not necessarily friendly, but curt and respectful in terms of making drinks. I chose to mobile order one in-advance drink and then got another in-store for my family. It did take a bit longer, and there is a sign saying drink times can vary and be on the later end--as a heads up. Since I had a free reward, I crafted my specialty drink. I had an Iced Matcha Latte with Oat Milk, Extra Matcha, Habibi Syrup, and Light Ice. If you order light ice, note your drink won't be filled all the way (like my photo). I enjoy their Habibi Latte, so I was curious to try it in matcha, but it clashed, in my opinion. The flavor pairing was too harsh and heavy. Aside from that, the overall drink quality was good, and I wouldn't mind trying something new. I got him a Hot Mocha for my Pop, which he enjoyed. Whether in the area or near the airport, Equator Coffees is a fantastic option for a caffeinated beverage. I look forward to trying their other locations. This one is easy to find on the corner, and there is plenty of free parking in the lot.

This is an underrated spot if you're looking to study at a coffee shop. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seats with charging outlets at every corner. If you're outside, you can watch the airplanes descend into SFO or take a walk by the peninsula. As for the drinks, I wanted to order their seasonal drink but they ran out of an ingredient. Understandable. I decided to go with an iced matcha latte as my alternative and it wasn't the best matcha latte I've tried. I couldn't really taste the matcha flavor and found the drink to be too milky. Service was average.

Not sure who comes here apart from Facebook employees and guests. I fell into the later category. The are arin but slow but make up for it with friendly staff and petty good coffee. My ham and cheese croissant was greasy, but super flaky and delicious I made a small mess, but was satisfied enough not to mind cleaning it up. They do have some reserved parking in the lot next to it, so if you are furious, you can pop in. They about the park on the shore, so a coffee and a stroll might just be the ticket. They had a black sesame latte on the seasonal menu that sounded intriguing, but it was sold out. Maybe another time. Definitely worth a try if you find yourself nearby

I ordered the Osmanthus Matcha Latte (cold) with no modifications. However modifications included dairy or non dairy options, toppings, ice level, extra matcha and sweetness level with 50% as the minimum. The matcha was lightly sweeten and smooth. The osmanthus bits in the bottom was delightful. The osmanthus was lightly sweetened, slightly citrusy and floral. The drink was well balanced between the two flavors. Definitely would recommend a visit.

You can order ahead of time or you can just order in store at their kiosk. Location is aesthetically pleasing with an open window to let the wind in and a couple seats and small tables too. There was a rush of people coming in when we were there since it was a bit past lunch. I think there was only 1 staff member working or perhaps 2, but the wait didn't take too long. I got a text message when my order was ready at the pick up area. Probably more the clientele than the actual business, but there's a sign clearly stating, NOT A TRASH CAN and there's trash in a vase with more straws than anything, smh and some long hairs on the pick up counter. No toilet seat covers or toilet paper in the rest room, so a bit of a juxtaposition to how nice everything else looked. I got the Osmanthus Matcha with whole milk and the lowest possible level of sweetness, 50%. My boyfriend got a coffee, no sugar, and it was fine. My drink was way too sweet even at this level and even with thorough mixing. I know it's osmanthus syrup, but it overpowered more of the matcha than anything. It's no Airoma, it's definitely no Yamari (if you know, you know). I would say it's slightly lower quality in taste than Matcha Maiko (yeah I know, controversial opinion), but better than Matcha Ren. It's like a not as good dessert drink Junbi. I may sound extremely incomprehensible with this comparison, but real knowers know. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing, but overall in the matcha wars, Cere Tea isn't emerging highly on the ranking chart.

One thing I wish I would have done is ask for it heated because I saw some other people doing that and it looked delicious. The morning bun was so good. It had a beautiful medley of spices that truly brightened your morning. The flavors were so balanced. As for the ham and cheese croissant, the star was the ham.
