Love the concept of having games available. Should note that not all games are free to play but think it is a good way to try and keep your games intact and a good way to sample them in groups. Appreciate how they are labeled by difficulty as well. The food was good. I got a grilled cheese and added the beef which was delicious. They just happened to be doing a tomato soup and got that as well to dip the sandwich. My friend got the chimichurri bowl which she liked. The coffees were excellent. I really like the orange zest to it. I also got the strawberry like cocktail and it was fine.

Came across this place through a yelp search as I was visiting the area for a conference. Awesome neighborhood coffee shop with excellent and creative drinks selection. The breakfast menu was solid and had many choices that meet every pallet and dieters needs. The service was AMAZING. The person at the counter was super friendly and offered great recommendation. She also went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed when our food arrived. Strongly recommend if you are in the area!

Five stars for today's family hang. They have worked out some early concept kinks and carved out a niche, which is hard to do in this economy. Service is order through scan and minimal and they have elevated and expanded their menu. I had a fantastic grilled peach, burrata toast today and the chipotle bowl earned high marks. the iced tea game is elite ( three flavors of unsweetened and I got peach) I am a sucker for free refills in iced tea, but given the game playing, slow turnover of this establishment.a $3 refill seems fair. Best of all, they have increased their free game library, which was an issue with my previous price gauging review. Our multigenerational party of 6 family members have a wonderful long mid- week lunch and domino tournament!

I love this place! It's so cute inside, the staff are super friendly, and the drinks are delicious. It's a fun way to pass time with friends and some board games. Score a seat by the window for some people watching! (Note: don't try to come by on a super hot day because the glass windows make it very stuffy inside)

A great place to meet any time of day. Parking is pretty easy on the street. We had the mushroom omelet and avocado toast. Both were very good. The coffee was great. Rich flavor. Service was pleasant. I'd recommend this for a bite or for board games, or both. A nice addition to Broadway.

I am so glad I found this spot - I can see myself visiting again very soon! I was here with a colleague for brunch on a Wednesday afternoon and I really needed some good comfort food. I ordered the pandan matcha and I got the chicken panini - so much goodness in this order! I loved how simple yet flavorful the panini was - I usually prefer them extra toasted and the server made sure it was perfectly extra toasted. Not too much to have crumbs all over SF - just perfect ! The pandan latte which I got as a hot drink - was so perfectly made. Loved my experience here! They have ample seating and quite a few spots by the large windows which are nice if you like to people watch. I will be back soon!

First time trying this place. You can order through QR code, through her iPad or cash register. You pay before getting your ordet which is nice. This is a good place for small bites and fun place for hangout and catching up while playing board games. The quiche was so good, but I wish the size of the quiche was bigger with the price. Overall had a good time, downside is parking. It's self-serive so you do clean up after yourselves.

What a cute cafe! This a board game cafe that seems very cozy. You pay $5 for an hour of play and some are free for 1 hour with purchase. I like that they label games according to easy, medium, hard, etc. I just came for a drink and I sat outside. I tried the Spellweaver. This had strawberry puree, matcha and milk. It was so delicious and not too sweet! I love that the puree tasted fresh. I feel like this is a great place to come with friends or to have a breakfast meal too so I'll have to try it.

This is cool concept of a cafe and went to check it out w my friend but w soy milk and tip two lattes were $20 served in a tiny very pretty but tiny cup; only to learn that most board games are not free but $5 per hour. There is a small shelf with limited free options. Daminos were missing pieces and tiny cup of pumpkin latte which didnt hit the spot to begin with became cold very quickly since it was served lukewarm. Cute concept but Im good with $10 coffee.

The table next to us saw it was our first time and said "youre in for a treat!" I could already tell, decent amount of seating and the sun shines into the huge windows of the establishment beautifully. Cozy, great vibes. Its very popular and well loved by the community. The menu is expansive enough where i think everyone can find something. I do think it was a tad expensive but you gotta support your small shops. Interesting selection of drinks, i got spicy chai and theres definitely a heavy kick to it. Lots of board games available as well. You can also bring your own, first hour is free but after that its $5/hour/person. Please also mind the time limitation for laptop usage. They have to run their business and rotate the tables for others. That's totally fair!

This place is super cute! I can with my sister after lunch as we were in the area and wanted a sweet treat. The cafe is soooo cute! The artwork on the walls is amazing and adds to the vibe. I didn't realize that this cafe was more of a sit down but we got our drinks to go. I got the hojicha strawberry cream and my sister got the latte sunkeeper with oatmilk. Both drinks were so good! The cashier was super nice and brought our drinks to us. Will definitely be back to try other menu items!

Decent cafe place that offers board games. Came kind of early and it was mostly just parents bringing their kids here so they can pick up some random board game and let their kids just bang on the pieces on the table while they ate. The options of board games looked extensive but I'm not sure how many of them had missing pieces judging from how the patrons used them. Food tastes good, but portion size is on the skimpy side. Service was great everyone was kind. Minus 2 stars mostly because I didn't like the portion sizes and it was pricey.

A cute board game cafe in Burlingame! I went on a Monday afternoon so it was not crowded. I was told to try this place for a while now and I'm glad I did. My strawberry matcha was gentle, with delicate flavors, good but I'd recommend going a little heavier on the matcha flavor. I love lemon cakes so I had to give this piece a try. I'd say the almond flavor is more prominent than the lemon, it's a light but slightly dense, sweet tasty piece of cake. The powdered sugar on top is yummy. This would be a wonderful spot to take your kids, family or even a light hearted date because they have board games that you can play. The inside is themed to board games too and is decorated nice. The area is a great spot, I'd recommend! Would love to try this spot again for more food, I want to try the spritzers they have, those looked really interesting.

It's a good latte! There were so many baked options. We asked the worker for recommendations. We asked about the almond vs chocolate hazelnut croissants & savory options. Speck & egg was the top specific mention, but she added that they're all good. I learned that speck was ham. We ended up getting the chocolate hazelnut croissant & speck & egg. We got the last one of the croissant, so I can only imagine how fast things run out. Baked to perfection - flakey and not dense at all. The croissant did get a bit too sweet over time. There's two tables inside and one bigger one outside. It can get a little crowded with everyone waiting for their drinks. I'm glad I got to try it! I'd come back - lots more to try. The shredded chicken and the broth were wonderful, I do wish it had less tortilla strips because they soaked up all the broth if left there for too long. I got the California bagel, which was also delicious. It was a little too much egg for my liking, but the bagel was only $12 which I think is decent for what I got. There were plenty of empty tables, but no one was really taking orders, so we ended up waiting around 30 minutes when it should not have taken that long. Also, the young lady at the cash register let someone who was already eating cut the line just to order more food. Everyone waiting seemed annoyed, but no one said anything. The service once you're seated isn't the best either. The workers don't really come around to check on you, so if you need water or anything else, you pretty much have to flag someone down. Even for to-go boxes, napkins, etc., you have to get up and grab them yourself from the counters. It's not a huge deal, but it definitely makes the service feel a little lacking. The food was also just okay this time. I got the chicken and waffles, and the waffle was pretty bland while the chicken was way too salty. Overall, the prices are a little on the expensive side too , it was $7 just to add one pancake.
