Pretty nice, it was really busy but the line moved pretty fast. Service was amazing, food came out quickly. One of my issues, might be personal preference. I didn't really like the chocolate sauce on the churro waffle. The waffle in general was amazing. Just the sauce. Very appealing in visuals and if your around, you should try it.

I don't think there could be a more me place than Mints & Honey! For not loving bread, I LOVE toast. Weird, I know. The ordering process is super easy and the food and drinks come out quickly! I got the mushroom and ricotta toast. It was perfection! The creaminess of the ricotta, the umami from the mushroom, the bitterness of the arugula, and the perfectly jammy eggs! Just absolute heaven!!! The latte was also so yummy and comforting! I can't wait to try more! Absolutely the perfect place for a nice, light meal!

I've been to the San Carlos location before and the Burlingame location is equally as amazing! There's a decent amount of seating inside the restaurant and additional seating outside to enjoy a nice day. When you arrive you line up to order at the counter and they give you a number for your order. I got the MH chopped salad which is probably one of my favorite salads ever. The ingredients are mixed greens, baby arugula, avocado, tomato, strawberry, orange, carrot, cucumber, red onion, hummus, toasted walnut, balsamic vinaigrette, and a side of bread. The hummus gives an additional flavor that really complements the salad. The bowl doesn't seem too big but it actually fills you up so I end up eating only half the bowl and taking the rest home as leftovers. It's a really good salad if you want something healthy and refreshing. I also highly recommend their sampler plates to try multiple items and all of the toasts are delicious. 11/10 recommend!!

This place is so cute! The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. The food ordering was great and done as you walk in. Highly recommended the lavender coffee.

Found this great spot on yelp for a girl's hangout! It's such a cute shop, a great spot for photos, or some peace to yourself. The staff is really welcoming and outgoing, which made ordering really efficient. We ordered the applewood smoked salmon with avocado, churro waffle, and the banana and cream waffle. I didn't try the applewood smoked salmon, but the churro waffle was BOMB. Perfect amount of cinnamon taste! It came with a side of melted chocolate, which tied everything together. It's not too sugary, but will definitely leave you feeling heavy. One note: the actual churro on top of the whipped cream was stale. Bit on it thinking it would be soft. Ouch! The banana and cream waffle I tried too! The waffle base tasted a lot like the churro one, but it is definitely a better choice if you're looking for a more simpler dish. It came with a side of syrup, and an adequate amount of sliced bananas. The atmosphere is chill but can be loud at times. It's such a great hangout place! Will be back!

I've been here a few times and each time the restaurant has been completely packed. I've always enjoyed what I've gotten here! I've tried quite a few of their matcha lattes and the best one is the rose matcha latte which has just the right amount of sweetness and rose flavor. The sakura matcha latte was too sweet and peachy for me. The jasmine matcha latte is nice too. The grilled cheese and tomato soup is okay and I think the toast is better. I prefer the savory toast options (probably avocado + egg toast is my favorite.) The tomato and mozzarella as well as egg salad are also very good!

Exceptional service, ample seating, delicious seasonal green tea, and love the interior decor. I plan to come more often for their seasonal items. The menu is in the front and you'll need to grab that before you order. The cashier was super sweet and waffles were delicious! Will definitely be back for more!

I stopped in on a beautiful Saturday morning and they were very busy. You order at a counter and sit anywhere. The place is beautifully decorated and a nice vibe. I didn't eat anything but the food looked delicious and fresh. I will definitely stop by for brunch another day. I got an iced banana bread latte to go, but staff were very friendly. Wow, the latte was amazing!! I was worried I it may be too sweet, but it was perfectly creamy and flavorful. The added touch of some banana bread sprinkled on top was chefs kiss! Really

Solid spot to hang out with friends weekend morning. Seemed to have plenty of seating available during busy hours. Good menu with many options. I think the food took a bit of time to prepare though but I guess is fine if you are just chatting away with friends in the meantime.

Heavenly place for single young professionals and no kids to hang out with their friends. As soon as you walk in you feel the energy from the youth. Maybe it's the young hip workers who look like they came out of a lifestyle magazine. The decor and ambiance feels Californian European. Light and airy with unique touches like the gorgeous terrazzo counter tops. I ordered only a coffee and quiche so cannot comment on their other foods. There was a long wait on a Saturday, probably 15 minutes. The Vanilla Bean Latte with Oat milk was meh. Doesn't beat the leading player at La Boulangerie SF. The quiche, I had higher hopes, so it's also just, meh. The vibes were great and workers were friendly. I would come back to try their other foods.

I ordered catering for an event, and was very impressed with the quality and presentation of the dishes. The guests loved the veggie quiches and the toasts. Staff were very responsive to my questions via email and my order was ready at pickup time. I would not hesitate ordering from Mints and Honey again!

Food: everything there is delicious, some items are super basic but it just tastes so good! Their sampler toast (you can choose up to 2-4 types of toast to try), veggie quiche, their tomato soup, their lattes, all yum! I did order the bagel board and it didn't have cream cheese, which is strange but had the egg salad instead? Service: I have been to this place 3 times now, and each time has been good service. No complains. Ambiance: such a happening place! Tip: go there early to grab a spot, usually sooo packed. Or go after 12pm where the crowd cools down a bit.

02/15/2026 - Toast Sampler: Rose & Strawberry, Prosciutto & Fig Jam, Creamy Mushroom & Egg, Smoked Salmon on Cream Cheese $26

Mints and Honey is a crowded brunch spot on the weekends in downtown Burlingame. You order and pay at the register, grab your number and find a table for yourself. There's also a self service water station. Since we had a larger party of 7, one of the employees helped me pull a table over so we could sit together. They have plenty of staff on hand, which is great! Their menu is one of the most extensive versions around, with so many combinations since they offer samplers for their toasts and waffles. Since it was our first time, it took us a good while to decide what to get. The samplers are really meant for one person, but they can add up as each one is an added cost to the original starting price. Their platters look amazing as well. And they also have Afternoon Tea options! And then you can't miss their Seasonal specials too - food and drink items! And of course, there's also a long list of beverages to choose from. It's just a lot! We got: * Grilled Cheese & Tomato Soup $13.95 - Both my nieces got this and let's just say there wasn't anything left on either of their dishes. * Toast Sampler $16: Rose & Strawberry (+$0.75), Prosciutto & Fig Jam (+$2.75), Creamy Mushroom & Egg (+$2.75), Smoked Salmon on Cream Cheese (+$3.75) $16 - The Little Gal got this and it looked amazing!! Presentation alone was top notch! And I do like the flavor combinations they offered. She ate three of the four, which left the Husband with just one half of a toast. This was a winner! * Avocado Toast $9.95 - My sister got this and it was just avocado toast, nothing really special about it. * Prosciutto Melt on Sourdough $16.95 - The Little Guy got this sandwich and he ate it all up. And he didn't really share any of it. This came with a mix greens salad. * Mushroom Melt on Sourdough $15.95 - My sandwich was the last to arrive. Apparently, one of their ovens wasn't working so there was a delay with the sandwiches. I liked mine, but would have preferred if my bread was toasted a bit more. There was over a 15 minute gap from when the first item came to the last, hence my nieces were pretty much done eating by the time my food came. This also came with a mix green salad. * Banana Bread Matcha Latte $8 - My sister got this based on the recommendation of the worker and she thought it was pretty good. * Hibiscus Mints Lemonade $5.95 - The Little Gal enjoyed this and I found it quite enjoyable too. With so many staff working, we did have quite a few people come by and check to make sure we got all of our items. This is how I eventually found out what was happening with the ovens. Overall, Mints and Honey has some great offerings! Their food items look fresh and inviting and so many combinations to choose from! I'm actually a big fan of their toast offerings and would have love to try some of them. All the veggies look lively and fresh, and they do use a lot of arugula there. Even the side of mixed green salad was a nice portion with tomatoes and carrots. I would definitely return. 4.5 stars

Is there kosher food on the menu?

I heard they don't allow laptops/working on weekends. What about weekdays?

Laptops use is welcome on weekdays except Holidays.

    Do they take reservations?

I don't think so, but the line to order goes quickly and I've never had a problem finding a seat either inside or a parklet area outside.

I watched their reactions when taking the first sip, it was a lot of head nodding and thumbs upping to their friends so I felt like I had to go in and try for myself. Went in and ordered an earl gray matcha and my partner ordered a passion mango tea w boba. The matcha & the passion fruit was so good! The boba was chewy and sweet. I would definitely recommend coming and trying! I really wanted to try their strawberry matcha but I'm always so skeptical (I have trust issues w bad strawb matchas) but the earl gray was good, so maybe I'll try next visit. The interior was nice, menu was straight forward on the wall and on the check out table -- only thing is the description of the drinks weren't shown on the menus until you're on the self check out kiosk. I was curious about the sunny side up matcha thinking it was made with real egg yolk (which I thought kinda weird?) but the kiosk said that it was mango. I later found out they closed that same day due to some kind of sewage/health inspection issue, so I decided to give them another chance after they reopened, especially since friends recommended their other locations. My visits since then have definitely been better. My go-to is now the Double Matcha at 50% sweet. It has a strong matcha flavor, is creamy, and is really good when made right. I definitely won't be getting the matcha einspanner again though. The biggest issue is consistency. Not every visit tastes the same, but when it's good, it's good. The shop also sometimes has a noticeable bathroom/cleaning chemical smell, which isn't the most pleasant when you're sitting inside.
