Even though I didn't end up having a repair done by Plumb & Order, I must praise them on their stellar customer service! There was a water pressure issue in my house (i.e., it was the water pressure relief valve). I called Plumb & Order and was able to get an exact estimate over the phone, unlike a few other companies I had called. The estimate was about half the cost a different company had given me. The agent I spoke with was very kind and knowledgeable. I forgot to cancel the appointment and called about 8pm the evening before. Someone actually answered the phone. Shocked! I apologized for cancelling last minute and the gentleman was very cordial and even jovial. I think Plumb & Order will be my go to next time I'm in need of service. I do wish they had referenced the manual more in the install as it's a complicated Italian Range oven and did the testing/calibrating that was called out in the manual, but it does work nicely anyhow. I might need it to be recalibrated at some point, but that was also on me to have noticed these things in the instructions to check in that they were happening. Had a plumbing company that I found on yelp come out, did a look around and determined it was a faulty regulator. Quotted $1250 for the job. I told them i would have to get a 2nd quote before making a decision. Called Plumb & Order and told them over the phone what was needed. I got a quote for 1/2! They said it was a pretty straight forward process and they could have someone out the followimg week. Scheduled it and they arrived ontime the following week. Father and son team were efficient, curtious and knowledgeable. Had everything completed and tested in about 2 hrs. Fixed the "water hammer" issue and havent had an issue since. I've tried A LOT of plumbers in Austin, and by and large, my experiences have not been very positive. Some radically overcharged ($450 to reset a toilet???). Some were tremendously flakey (no show, no call). And some misdiagnosed the problem with my pipes multiple times (wracking up HUGE bills in the process). This is a great small company that is nimble, reasonably priced with excellent skilled and intelligent labor. Tony and Connor were amazing. They had to replace an attic gas hot water heater that was located BEHIND the HVAC in 100 degree weather. They managed to get the old one out and the new one in without a single drop spilled anywhere and they cleaned up after themselves beautifully. They even had to remove (and replace) trim around my attic opening which was a bit too small. Did I mention the very reasonable prices? Cole & his partner did a good job increasing our water pressure & lack of hot water in our shower and a guest bathroom sink. He told me what was the possible problem was & explained what they could do to fix it. Changed out a cartridge in the shower handle & cleared the line-it doubled the shower water pressure. We called Plumb & Order after receiving a hefty quote from another company to fix our slab leak. The other company came over and narrowed down the leak to the kitchen for almost $500 (at this point no repair work has been done), then they told me to cut the sheetrock and rerouting the pipe will cost around $5000. I was shocked and called Plumb & Order, they scheduled an appointment for the next day, Wyatt and his crew showed up on time, and get right into working. They found out there is an abandoned, under the slab pipe still connected to our water heater which is causing the leak. Btw, they used the Thermal Camera to find it (which the other company didn't even bother to check). Then, they quickly came up with a plan to reroute the pipe and fixed the issue with minimum damage to our dry wall. After the work is done, they also helped us fixing the broken vent pipe which is located in a really tight space in the attic. They did it quickly and professionally. They finished all the work before noon and left the site clean and tidy. We are more than impressed to work with Plumb & Order, and we will be sure to go back to them for future works. read more

Yes, they are highly rated on Yelp which is why I called them to look at my water heater. They quoted me $2,025. I had called another company who is also rated 5 stars. They said it was a $1,600 job. I quickly called Plumb and Order to cancel and told them I got a much better quote and said no thank you. They were not pleased and came back to my house saying I owed the $195. Really? I told them that was crazy and to leave. They then loitered around my house. I finally gave them $100 to leave. Lessen learned. The company that did the job and were extremely professional.
