Called for a quote. They charge $89 to come to your house. They will not tell you over the phone their hourly rates or flat rates. You just have to trust them to give you a reasonable price or pay them $89 for no work done. It just doesn't seem very trustworthy. When they won't give you an estimate for simple plumbing for a toilet it just shows that their intentions are not clear. The option they sold us will not prevent our future problems. Please read on for details. I was in the basement when water started to pour down from the ceiling. We hastily called Plumb Crazy and they responded immediately. We had not yet sussed out where the water was coming from; they quickly pinpointed that it was from our washing machine. PROS: Arrived Promptly Was Courteous Helped Clean the Water on the Floor CONS: Sold Us a Service Not Related to Our Problem Our washing machine had been rattling and shaking before the incident due to a heavy load (bedding). In fact, we had recently washed all of the bedding in the house, and it had been doing this for days. We suspect that the hose on the machine had loosened based on this use, and this caused the leak. WHAT WE WERE SOLD: Our rubber hoses were replaced with stainless steel woven hoses. We were told the leak was caused by the caps corroding. The hoses were three years old (we had a brand new washer/dryer installed 3 years prior). When I shared my concerns with the owner after they installed the new hoses, he did stop by to give my husband back our original hoses and to show him where there were signs of corrosion. THE PROBLEM: These hoses will do nothing from preventing this same thing from happening again. Stainless steel woven hoses are BETTER at protecting your home from a burst hose. But we did not have a burst hose. For a few dollars more, auto-shut off hoses will prevent massive leaks. This might give us better protection, but this is not what we were sold. What we DO have is a mineral problem in our water. As you can see from the image below, there is a great deal of (mostly) build up (not corrosion) and this build up probably lead to our hoses easily loosening when the machine was off-balance. A water softener or some sort of water treatment might help? Or, the auto-shut off hose. But not the hoses we were sold... read more

I don't give Five Stars ever. By far the best plumber in Leesburg. We had to have a house bib replaced. Daniel, came on time, explained what needed to be done and completed the job in a very timely basis. Due to the location he had to cut an interior wall, he did it neatly and cleaning, therefore I will only need to do minor work to repair. The exterior work was also fantastic, he sealed the bib and explained everything to us before leaving. All work was completed at a reasonable price. I believe everyone should make money and do a job that is mutually beneficial for both parties involved. However, I do not appreciate companies, such as this one, that respond to my Yelp quote inquire by asking me to call them, don't pick up when I do call them, call me back and give me a $1,200 quote for a job that I've been previously quoted (by a plumbing company with great reviews on Yelp) for $299. Don't waste my time, don't try to take advantage of people. If you didn't want the job, don't respond to my quote inquire. Added note 2/21/18: No idea what the response is referring to. I live in Ashburn, VA and I completely demoed my bathroom myself, prior to reaching out for estimates. All I needed was a drain pipe fixed, which I could probably have done myself, with little to no knowledge of plumbing. The drain pipe is exposed because I have already removed the tub. Scott refused to wear a mask in our house. He was really rude about it, even though we asked politely. "I'm not wearing a mask! No way!" We had to turn him away. He made it so weird and antagonistic. Great experience from beginning to end. Called Plumb Crazy about a section of pipe attached to hot water heater that showed some leakage, but wasn't leaking at the present. Upon calling Plumb Crazy, I spoke to "Scott", who asked good questions and promptly scheduled my appointment. On the day of the appointment, I got a call from Daniel, who indicated he was on his way. He arrived within the agreed upon appointment window. Daniel inspected the area of concern and said that the leak was probably from when the hot water heater was installed years ago. He said it could probably be left alone, but he could repair it, if it made us feel more comfortable. At no time did I feel pressured. I opted to fix the section of pipe that once leaked and Daniel knocked it out in less than an hour. I have had a great experiences with Plumb Crazy. I first called after finding them on Yelp and I spoke with Daniel. He talked me through some questions I had about shutting off the water main and he allowed me to send him some pictures of my piping/valves. He sent the pic back to me marked up with hot/cold/irrigation/etc., answering my questions and helping me determine my issue was not urgent and I didnt need a plumber. We noticed some water coming out of our sump pump and called Plumb Crazy. Tony came over the next day and replaced the broken sump pump motor. We appreciated him asking how old the pump was as it was apparently still under manufacturer's warranty so they were able to apply manufacturer's discount towards the new unit. Unfortunately, I seem to be the only one with a bad experience. I asked them to perform what I expected to be an easy job. I wanted them to inspect my sump pump and replace two faucets with the exact same faucets since one of them had broken. While scheduling the appointment, I got a bad feeling as I was told that the area received a lot of rain and its possible that there was nothing wrong with my sump pump but that it just couldn't keep up. While that may be true, it is not a great answer. I don't expect to have to worry about my basement flooding every time it rains a lot. If this ended up being true, I would have expected a good company to offer solutions to avoid the problem from occurring again. Upon their arrival, which was quick, and after accessing the situation they claimed that they couldn't do the job and different faucets would need to be purchased. Needless to say, this explanation made no sense and I no longer had faith in their ability to perform work on my home. One of the two guys that came was very nice but the other was a d*ck and unable/unwilling to complete the job. I expect to have many plumbing needs in this house but will apparently need to find someone who is capable of figuring out how to replace faucets with the same exact model. I had a corroded water heater extension tank that began spewing out water and flooding the boiler room down in my basement.
