Okay, I probably have used the services of this company more than just about anyone in the area. My house is cursed with terrible plumbing (damn you Pulte homes!). We have had three flooding incidents from a backup in the sewer line. After snaking it a few times to clear an obstruction we finally decided to get the section of line that was having trouble replaced. It was done with a pretty scientific approach of viewing the area with a camera and measuring where the break was. The result was that only a small area under the porch was affected and I didn't have to rip up the whole front yard. Good result that has stood up. No more flooding. Well, a couple years later the service line (input) broke and was so fragile (inferior pipe material) that we wanted to replace the entire line. However, my home is on a slab (no basement) and replacing the entire line seemed impossible without ripping out my living room floor. It was looking like it was truly going to be a devastatingly expensive job. Scott came up with a solution that involved using a special bladed bit that split the old line and dragged a new copper pipe through the old bore. They used a big tow truck winch to do this. He even bought the equipment to do this and didn't charge me for it. This was genius and require ONE 4'x'4x4' hole in the yard. Think about that... one small hole to replace an entire service line. I was VERY happy with this solution. Bonus was that it was between $1,500 and $7,000 cheaper to do than other estimates I got for the job. Well, three years later there was another small leak in the service line. Even though the warranty had run out on the work done, Plumb Crazy covered all but a few hundred dollars of the cost (enough to pay the hole diggers). Scott stands by his work and treats you fairly. I was replacing a kitchen faucet and found that the valves were leaking. I looked at the valves and saw that they were bolted on so I went to Home Depot and bought some replacements. When I went to replace them, I couldn't get them off. They just kept spinning around and around. I found out that they were not bolted on, and decided they must have been soldered or welded on. So I determined that the job was beyond my ability and with the valve no longer secure I was not able to turn the water main back on. Having used Plumb Crazy in the past, I decided to give them a call and have them come over and do the job. Scott was great over the phone. He knew exactly what I was talking about. He gave me a quick quote. Being that I was trying to do the job myself already, he tried to explain to me what the type of connection it was. It was a compression valve. He then went further to explain how to remove it and reconnect it in case I wanted to try it myself since I was already doing the job but wasn't familiar with the type of connector. I was not sure of myself and really wanted the water turned back on since it was at night, but Home Depot was still open. So I took a chance. I used his information and was able to replace the compression type valves myself! I called him back after a job well done and thanked him. Even though he wasn't here, he helped get the job done. I don't know of many businesses that will go to the lengths that Plumb Crazy did with their assistance. I couldn't be happier with Plumb Crazy for the first job I had them actually do a couple of years ago and with the assistance they gave me over the phone this time. Just had a plumbing scare where I was forced to cut into our kitchen drain down by our foundation. After snaking with a 25' drill snake to failure, I asked a friend if they had a plumber to recommend. They strongly recommended Plumb Crazy and told me I would be get reliable honest service. I called Friday night and left a message. Scott called back and told me that it was probably not a good idea to pay emergency fees for a drain snaking. He said I should call and schedule something during normal business hours. Wow - Scott could have tried to leverage my problem and lack of knowledge but he did not. I had a great feeling after this. That same night a friend came by and suggested I could save money by renting a professional grade snake. The following morning I called Plumb Crazy again and spoke with Scott. I told him what I was thinking and Scott gave me advice suggesting I make sure to rent a 100' rather than a 50' to ensure I had to tool to do the job on my own. Scott told me his fee to snake it and even suggested it might be worth it for cost savings for me to give it a go on my own. On two occasions Scott watched out for my wallet and best interest rather then try to get himself business. How many businesses are run this way? I treasure those that I find. I realize that I am writing a review without actually getting service. But finding a business that I can trust means that much to me. Our tenant called us on the afternoon of Tuesday, 20 Nov, and informed us of a plumbing issue. The bathtub faucet would not turn off and water was gushing out full blast. After shutting off the water supply, we contacted six plumbing companies, several that we had used in the past at the rental property and at our main home. Although their Web sites indicated 24-hour service, none could come that afternoon/evening nor could they come on Wednesday, and Thursday was Thanksgiving. The earliest they could come would be Friday. It was Tuesday afternoon--not at all helpful. We came upon Plumb Crazy online. We had never used the company, nor had we ever heard of them. We contacted them. A service person was at the rental property within 30 minutes and, Scott, the owner arrived shortly thereafter. The valve behind the wall was very old and corroded. We were given advance warning that the amount of effort that was going to be required to remove the valve could possibly damage the shower wall. It took quite a bit of effort, but the valve was successfully removed with no damage to the shower and the old, faulty parts were replaced. When no other company could/would accommodate us, Plumb Crazy responded and resolved our issue quickly, professionally, and at a fair price. Plumb Crazy will be our go-to plumber going forward. I've used Plumb Crazy twice now and I am really compelled to share the excellent experiences I've had with them. These guys are consummate professionals. I totally trust them with any plumbing needs I have. And it's a local small business so you get owner accountability. Scott the owner installed a water heater in my home in 2014. Turns out the manufacturer made a mistake by putting in the wrong heating element ( which we didn't know at install) so it was not working properly which was obvious on install. Scott put his mind to the problem, quickly diagnosed the issue and sourced the proper element from his truck. Problem solved thanks to his ingenuity and tenacity. Just today they came out due to a toilet that was leaky. Daniel was the plumber and he quickly diagnosed the problem and made the repairs ( full rehab....all new guts). Very professional and a great price to boot. I have a very high level of attention to detail and demand things be done right. Plumb Crazy definitely meets my high standards. Based on other yelp reviews, I decided to give Plumb Crazy a call to have a new kitchen faucet installed and an outdoor faucet repaired. My initial phone call in which I left a message was returned within minutes and I was able to schedule an appointment for the next day. Daniel arrived in the window provided with a courtesy call that he was on his way. He installed my faucet neatly and professionally. He explained in detail the repair process of my outdoor faucet and further showed me how to correctly drain the pipes to prevent water freeze damage. He was able to repair the problem within minutes. He also patiently explained some questions I had about my sump pump and found an issue with a pipe from my water heater that I was unaware of and gave me sound advice on how I should proceed on these issues and gave me an estimate on the spot as to what the improvements would cost. Plumb Crazy were recommended when we moved in to our neighborhood by the community Facebook page. I've used them twice, most recently to replace a kitchen faucet. As I have a baby coming, it was urgent, but I know often plumbing jobs require a wait time. I called at 7:00 and got the night service, they called back at 8:00 a.m., and gave me good advice on which brands of faucet to purchase. By 2:00 p.m. (they promised between 2 and 5) Daniel Day arrived. As always, very respectful of the property (shoe covers on when entering the house, as policy), friendly, professional, went above and beyond to explain the product, and also gave me after service advice about a few other plumbing questions, for free. In all, I'd describe Plumb Crazy as a reliable local business who relies on a strong local community reputation (3 man family firm), respectful, professional, friendly, fair price, and found our "forever plumbers". My parents recently had an emergency repair completed by Scott and his team at Plumb Crazy. They were beyond happy with the service and couldn't say enough nice things. That made it an easy decision to call Plumb Crazy when I needed a plumber. Scott was incredibly generous with his time on the telephone and even had me send photos so he knew exactly what the issue was. He actually gave me a specific suggestion on how I might be able to take care of the problem myself for under $15. He also gave an estimate on the cost of service if the problem ends up being more involved and I need them to come out. I had a couple of relatively modest issues (stoppers not working, tub spout needing replacement) for a townhome in Leesburg and spoke to Scott at the office. He actually discouraged me from doing some things he didn't think I needed (such as a filter for the H20 heater or whole house)-- which was a very refreshing change of pace from typical service providers. He even told me a lot about Leesburg I didn't know! I felt very comfortable with how he ran his business even before the service day. Daniel came out to the house yesterday on time and fixed the problem, interacted very well with the tenant, and got everything taken care of efficiently and with good workmanship. The best plumbers ever. They knew exactly what they were doing with a difficult problem. They were very professional and courteous and best of all cleaned up after themselves. I would 100% use them again. This is the third time I have used these guys. Again they are the best. First we went to Home Depot and Lowe's for help purchasing a new almond color toilet. We received very little help from either place. Plumb Crazy got exactly what we wanted and did a very clean installation. Daniel walked me through each step so that I understood what was going on. My garbage disposal failed and I called Plumb Crazy as they have done other excellent work for me. I was able to get scheduled within 24 hours. These guys are great. Very professional, they clearly explain how they are going to fix your plumbing problem. Provided a very reasonable estimate and explained the costs. Most importantly, they don't leave your house until problem is solved. As an example, yesterday we called them in the afternoon regarding noisy sump pump. Daniel came to our house within 30 minutes. Replaced the bad sump pump, re-directed a line, and in the process discovered a water leak under the sink in the powder room. In a couple of hours resolved all the problems. Daniel has been to our place three times, replacing the insides of all 3 of our toilets: today he did the third one. He is extremely professional, thorough, knowledgeable, and a really good guy! I would trust him for any plumbing problem I had, large or small. Their office has always been extremely prompt in scheduling us, which is important since a family member has mobility issues, and being near a working toilet is a real necessity. I called Plumb Crazy to replace my 15 year old water heater that started leaking. The first time I called they provided me with a quote over the phone which was very nice! On they day they came out they called me twice with ETA updates which allowed me to go to work for most of the day! When they arrived they were both very friendly and informed me of everything they were doing. They replaced many of the valves that connect to the water heater at no extra charge. The water heater, drip pan, expansion tank, and pipe fittings all looked great! I will definitely call them If I have any other plumbing needs. read more

These guys are great! This is the 2nd time I've used Plumb Crazy, and both times they provided excellent professional service - and take the time to explain what is going to happen and how much it will cost. They do superior work - we originally had them replace a hot water heater with a commercial grade unit last year, and some pipe replacements, and now we've had them come back and re-build 2 toilets, install a bathroom sink faucet, and clear two very stubborn drains that required a heavy-duty snake. Our hot water heater was acting up and not getting as hot as it normally would. Of course this happens the night before our whole family comes to stay with us for the holidays.
